Do not use Value Basekt Mobile phone not delivered after 6 weeks

I placed my order on 7th of June, I had to cancel my order yesterday on the 18th of July. They still could not provide a commitment deliver my phone in any sort of time frame. Initially after a week or so I was told there was a delay in processing my order due to logistic issues. On the17th of June after I again queried the status of my order I received this update.
"I know you want your order now, better yet, yesterday (I would want the same thing) and what I can offer you today is clarity on the situation. Your order for 22670-AA-BK - Samsung Galaxy S7 G930F LTE 32GB Octa-core SIM Free / Unlocked (Black) will be dispatched from our warehouse latest on June 27, 2016. Thanks again for your patience, and I hope that this update was helpful and you’ll have your order soon."

On the 1st of July after pressing them for a commitment to give me an update as to when my phone would be delivered. I got this update.
"Under the present conditions, our logistics team is working to clear out the large volume of outstanding orders with priority. After discussions with them, I am very confident we will be able to fulfill your order within the next 2 weeks.Should you agree on this extended dispatch time, we will be happy to compensate you with a 2% discount on the current order, which will be credited towards you upon dispatch."

But another 2 weeks went by and still no delivery. I am not sure if this website is a sham, or what they are doing. I went to cancel my order on the 17th of July, for them to tell me then could deliver with in 2 to 3 days, when I took them up on this offer, they then retracted and said they still could not commit, I have now cancelled my order and am waiting for my refund which I am told will be 7 days.
DO NOT USE VALUEBASKET. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ORDER

Since April still waiting for my canon lens. They keep people in suspense

Since April still waiting for my canon lens. Although it is showing on stock, they come up with all kinds of excuses not to deliver. I called and e-mailed etc.
They even removed their phone number from their website.

Never ever again!

Money taken - no phone received

It has been 18 working days (almost a month) since I placed my (confirmed) order of an Xperia Z3 compact D5803 (Black) on this website. The phone has not been shipped. I received a few generic emails in response to my complaints with no real information on the shipment time-frames, only promises and I am quite sure lies. The availability (5 in stock) of the phone on the website has not changed since before I ordered it - why didn't it go down by one? Is it because they were never going to send it (or didn't have it in the first place) and just wanted to lure money out? Upon reading countless bad reviews, the idea that they provide good service to a few customers every now and then to keep some good reviews and scam the rest of the buyers, seems more and more plausible.
My advice - do not risk it hoping that you'll be the lucky one! I surely did.

never use them

bought a phone but cancelled it as would have taken to long. been over a month with countless emails and phone calls for my refund, with just excuses and faulse promises but still no refund. going to have to claim off the chargeback scheme through debit card company now...

second time the same problem

First i've ordered an apple watch on April 14th. After 2 months they said we don't have it in stock anymore do you want something else from the store or some other color from apple watch. So i choose a different colour.
Now i'm 3 months further and still no watch. Same problem with the new watch there's been an delay.... blah blah blah. Same excuses all over again.. Is the watch coming i don't believe it anymore..3 months of waiting. that's not normal!!!!

Never received my goods.

They never dispatched my camera despite continuing to advertise that it was in stock.
I received a whole string of meaningless excuses
After 3 weeks I cancelled my order and asked for a refund.
I again received a series of excuses why my refund was delayed.
I only got my money back after complaining to my credit card company.
I will never use valuebasket again

Fraudsters

I ordered a product and paid for it (£399.99) on 2nd of May. A few emails later asking where it had got to I decided on the 19th of June to ask for my money back. I was told it could take up to 7 days to show up in my account. Now it is 14th of July and no money and the only response I get to emails are excuses.

no refund after canceling the order - 41 days passed and still counting

Order made on 8th May, money sent the same day, delivery confirmed within next 8 days. Till end of May nothing received. On 4th June order cancelled and no refund till today. It is 41 days till now!
During these days I've exchanged plenty e-mails, got nothing but dummy general excuses (they use 3 templates for replying).

If you think it is emotional opinion of inpatient customer please check other opinion on this "shop". Not only here - there is plenty of complaints, especially since February - March this year. They sell goods they don't have.

Need to mention they pick one customer one out of 10 (or 20 or 100 - who knows?), to provide the delivery to get positive feedback (there are some, can't deny this), but all others loose the money and beg for mercy and refund.

I lost 1100 EUR and hope that I'm one of the latest who put order there. I encourage you to share your opinion.on this "shop" wherever you can, use local sites. Don't be shy. If you stay silent they would run this fraud forever cheating new buyers. This is the only activity we can use to stop this fraud business.

I'm not interested in receiving further excuses. 14 replies with general content and no progress at all.
They claim (since 22nd June) my refund request as prioritised, since 24th it is claimed as accelerated.
Sorry to say all of these are nothing but lies and play for time.

No refund after order cancelled

I ordered a smartphone thinking it was in stock according to their site, turns out, they didn't have stock. I ended up cancelling the order after a week of no dispatch. However, since I have cancelled the order, they have not provided me with a refund. I email them constantly and all I get are automated or generic replies, this has gone on for 2 months. At this point I don't expect my refund anymore. I cant wait till a nameless representative posts here with the same generic response everyone else is getting for their no refund reviews.

order not delivered and after cancellation no refund

On April 5th I ordered a smartphone for my son. After several reminders I cancelled the order on June 8th. The cancellation was confirmed and they promised to refund the money. But after several reminders I still haven't received the money. This certainly looks like fraud to me. I hope valuebasket has the decency to reply and to refund....

Buyer Beware

Never delivered as promised, despite their web-site showing they still have the item in stock. Their answer to every question is "4 to 7 working days". Cancelled order. No refund as promised. Have had to raise a dispute through my credit card company.

DO NOT USE - GOODS DON'T ARRIVE

After a successful purchase last year of a camera lens i decided to use the company again to buy a Galaxy S7 mobile phone,

At the beginning of June after phoning and emailing a number of times the status had progressed to priority.
I cancelled after a month, and requested a refund. I emailed after a further of 5 days and got the reply that they were having "system problems".
Today i gave them a final chance and phoned the number on the top of the screen and got another useless operator who informed me that i was 7-9 days to process a refund, she refused to put my call through to her manager or to their finance department and i advised that I would be taking the issue up with Mastercard . she ignored me and simply kept repeating herself - how I avoided swearing at her I do not know!

I contacted Mastercard who advised me "that the company was in breach of conditions as the goods failed to arrive within 30 days" and have put the transaction as under dispute, advised me i would get the money back and that they will take the matter up on my behalf.

Even now they they are advertising the same phone as being in stock and being shipped in 3-5 working days! *BELIEVE AT YOUR PERIL*

Since initially writing this Mastercard have refunded my account within 1 day. So if anyone else has issues getting refunded I suggest contacting your credit card company

The Standard, no goods or refund!

After 2 weeks my phone hadn't been despatched so I cancelled and have had to chase repeatedly for a refund which still hasn't been issued after over 3 weeks. All I get is the standard garbage response saying my case has been escalated to the relevant team etc.

I imagine that about a third of goods are shipped and the rest of the orders are cancelled with Valuebasket holding onto the money as long as possible for revenue purposes.

Just avoid, they are a sham and liars, I have had to pass the matter over to my credit card company to deal with.

Paid with no product and refund

Paid for a camera. Delivery did not take place for more then 2 weeks. Had to cancel. And havent receive refund. Its been more then a month now. Keep giving empty promises and stuff. Same old excuses every single time. I was ignored when i asked for a number to speak to the person in charge. Ridiculous company. Do not buy from them. Out to cheat buyers.

after almost TWO MONTHS they REFUSE to refund

21st OF MAY: I bought a reflex (Canon 750d + kit at 568€)
21st OF JUNE: my order had not been shipped yet so I cancelled it
TODAY, 10th OF JULY: I have NOT received my money back and they just keep telling me to wait without telling me any exact date or any other exact info.

They do NOT have the chat assistance that is showed on their website (it is NEVER online), they take way TOO MUCH TIME to answer emails, they hung up on me after I called asking for explanations and then they STOPPED ANSWERING ME on the phone, they have just one domicile which is located in HONG KONG.
SO NO ASSISTANCE AT ALL!!!!

I believe it is much better to spend a little more and to buy from another company which won't keep your money for no reason.
Keep in mind that EVEN IF THEY SHIPPED YOUR ORDER, YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY IMPORTATION TAXES WHEN THE ITEM IS DELIVERED, also there are many videos on YouTube that show that they sent used items whose packages were already opened and then just closed with tape.

As they breached the contract, I am reporting them to the Local Authorities and to the Antitrust Authority; furthermore I'm opening a case through MasterCard and UniCredit.

I will also keep sharing this bad experience to all the social networks, creating groups, pages and informative links to be shared. I will also OPEN AN INTERNATIONAL PETITION on Change.org with the help of all the people who had a bad experience with this company around the world, then this petition will be given to the Antitrust Authorities and to the Chinese Embassy together with all the police reports I found of the people who did not receive their refund. Then legal actions will be taken against them.

I WILL KEEP THIS REVIEW UPDATED!!

PS They have people checking on all the reviews on Trustpilot instead of have them working to solve the client's problems. They erase as many bad reviews as they can, give general and unuseful answers to the reviews they can't delate, and I would not be surprised if they found a way to write positive reviews themselves.

Non vi sono tasse di importazione addebitate al cliente poiche' queste sono pagate al nostro vettore, che si incarica delle procedure doganali. Valuebasket mette in vendita soltanto prodotti nuovi.
Le vorremmo far notare che, come rivenditore online, dobbiamo sostenere controlli di qualita' effettuati regolarmente. Infine, se c'e' un problema con il prodotto, il cliente puo' restituircelo e ricevere il rimborso o la sostituzione entro 14 giorni dalla consegna.
Abbiamo richiesto che venga data priorita' al suo rimborso, se non dovesse riceverlo nei prossimi giorni proceda pure con la sua richiesta di rimborso tramite MasterCard ed UniCredit.

Good service requiring patience

My review is going to be a direct opposite of those of my fellow customers, so please read till the end!

I live in Singapore and I placed an order for a HTC 10 on 19th June '16 through Value Basket's Singapore site and at that time, I had only ever heard of Value Basket from my brother a couple of years ago. After placing my order, I immediately received an email confirming it, indicating that my item would take between 2 - 4 working days to be ready for shipment and that I would receive it between 5 - 8 working days.

After the fourth day, I had yet to receive an email as to the status of my order, so I called VB directly. The staff on the line was friendly and stated that there was a backlog of orders (the same reason many of you were given) and so I accepted it. A week later, there was still no update and my second call had me explain the situation to another friendly staff, who said she would escalate my order. As she was from a different department from logistics, she could not give me a definitive answer as to when my order would be shipped, but told me that it would take a week at the most. A week later, still nothing. By then, I had happened to chance upon Trust Pilot and was starting to get very, very nervous, based on the poor reviews and I was beginning to wonder if I had been scammed. So I called again and explained the situation to the same friendly staff along with the reviews I had read which have gotten me worried and she assured me that I would get my phone. She suggested that in the following days, I could request for a refund and I told her that I would rather get my phone!

I finally called the fourth time (this was during the third week after placing my order) and another staff told me that she would directly contact the logistics department and that I would receive an email updating me about the status of my order within 24 hours. And lo and behold, I checked my status within the day itself and it had changed to 'allocated for shipment' and by the following day, my status was updated further indicating that the product was shipped complete with a tracking number.

I received my phone on the morning of 8th July '16. It was packaged very well with really good protection and I have been running it the whole day. So far, everything seems fine (touch wood) and I must say that I am extremely relieved that Value Basket delivered. I think the lesson I have learnt from this experience is that patience is a virtue which paid off in the end. If anything, VB should consider amending its stipulated processing and delivery time frames to prevent a lot of unnecessary stress, worry and ultimately, misunderstanding between it and its customers.

I sincerely hope that my review helped bring to light a possible scenario which current and future customers might experience. My personal advice? Just wait it out and you will receive your orders. If you can afford the patience and the trust, Value Basket is a great place to shop! I actually got a variant of a phone which would never be released in Singapore (64GB) and I got it at a steal!

Buy where you want but avoid this site

Like almos everyone else, I bougth a smartphone here. After one month of having no news i decided to ask for my mony back. The result is an automatic answer and no news from my mony.
I dont know if I will have my mony back but if not I will send all this purchase info to my lawyer.

Things never arrived and almost a month later still haven't returned my money

Nearly a month of excuses about my product not arriving and almost a month now and they still haven't returned my money. Disgusting I will be ringing my credit card fraud department later as I have no idea whether I've been conned or they are just a terrible company. I must have sent around 30 emails. I have never had such bad luck with purchasing online

My worst experience ever. THIEVES !!

I ordered separately a Nikon DSLR and a Tamron lenses on the 3rd and 4th of June.
15 days later, as my orders had not been shipped yet, I asked a first time to cancel and refund my 2 orders.
As nothing happenned, I asked again on the 22nd of June to cancel and refund.
Today is the 7th of July, my orders are supposed to been in process for refund since more than 10 days (one of them with "High priority"... what a joke !).

I had 2 quite good experiences with this site before, but it appears that they are having some big trouble now.
The price seems interesting but DO NOT ORDER HERE : you won't have neither your products nor your money back !!!
They stole over 2,000 € to me.
