James has been a rock star

James has been a rock star. My child's grades have all been excellent. I believe that James has really prepared my child for the AP Exam as well. I am confident that my child will score a 4/5 on the AP exam because of James. It has been a very positive experience and money well spent.

Your customer service and the tutor…

Your customer service and the tutor assigned to Jody were absolutely wonderful! We have had three sessions so far. But unfortunately, the platform does not suit Jody’s needs. She uses an iPad to communicate during her sessions. We have been unable to find the keyboard, write on it, there were just a few technical difficulties that for Jody were just way too difficult. she is very shaky so a keyboard didn’t work. She could not do any of the homework on her iPad, not by any fault of the platform. Jody, being 68 year-old special-needs adult needs more one on one face-to-face tutoring. Thank you for everything you did in encouraging her to pursue her wish for wanting to learn to read better thank you.

Out tutor is great. The billing is confusing and they're very easy to get ahold of when you're signing up, the response is a wait when resolution is requested. I am very pleased with the lessons and technology use. The business end is difficult to figure out as a not very technical person. They apparently have much more available for the price, but I'm not trying to figure out an entirely new platform.

I wanted to learn how to draw…

I wanted to learn how to draw charactures. Varsity Tutors connected me with a tutor who was both an accomplished artist and excellent teacher. I left the tutorial series with a better sense of the techniques I could use for creating charactures.

David was amazing!

David was amazing!
He really worked with me, where I’m at with my Hungarian. And he didn’t seem to have a set, or rigid, itinerary, he went with the organic flow, which I appreciate. He did have a structure but allowed flexibility so that we could explore all naturally happening in our conversation. I can’t wait for my second session!
