Out tutor is great. The billing is confusing and they're very easy to get ahold of when you're signing up, the response is a wait when resolution is requested. I am very pleased with the lessons and... See more

The company matched me with a good tutor. Kai is brilliant, professional, and knowledgeable.
Bradley really connects with Captain and empower him so that his self-confidence helped him with his understanding of a very complex topic. Bradley says that he makes geometry simple by the step-by-step approach that he comes at with his students. We are so blessed and Captain is actually excited and look forward to his sessions with him.
Do not use varsity tutors, it is a scam.
I paid 8 sessions, each session cost $90. After 3 sessions, they said the rest expired. They've never mentioned expirations before.

I have decided to become a 6 month + (maybe more) client, with my 6 year old Chinese ESL son, because we have found the PERFECT teacher online through Varsity. I can't imagine a better company available in the USA... or worldwide for that matter.
My confidence grows by the day. My tutor is very knowledgeable and is preparing me for success.
The tutor is knowledgeable and engages my child.
I've had 2 tutors on Varsity Tutors and they've both been fantastic. I am using it specifically to learn a language, but the professionalism of the service is enough to recommend anyone who wants to learn any skill to contact Varsity Tutors.
I would rate this company lower if I can, background I needed help with nclex so I thought Varsity Tutors would be a perfect place for me to get quality tutoring. The business is not quality. I was told that I was going to get a full refund because I paid for the guarantee pass if I didn’t pass I would get a full refund. But instead of a full refund I only received half. If you’re thinking of using this company for any tutoring I would think twice. Highly recommend you going to a respectful and truthful company instead like Wyzant.

Terrible. Would not recommend. Was overbilled and when called to correct it, they refused. I canceled service and they continued to bill for 3 additional months. Costing nearly $1200. This has been an absolute nightmare!! Wish I would've NEVER heard of Varsitytutors.com

The first tutor scheduled him for a weekend and then said she doesn't work weekends and only works the hours that my grandson was in school. The next one cancelled the first session because she couldn't find her computer. When she did see him her kids were screaming and crying the during the session. I was charged extra for an Ortan Gillingham trained tutor. That did not appear to be the case with either tutor. This was not a good experience. The one star review was for the paleontologist course that my grandson joined and enjoyed.

I am delighted I found this service and I certainly wish I did find it sooner than I did. My daughter is happy with and empowered by her tutor. I strongly recommend this to any parent looking to help your child's educational reinforcement needs!
I am currently using their services and have been impressed with how organized and reliable everything has been. The process is simple, communication is clear, and the service does exactly what was promised. I feel confident continuing to work with them.
Little support other than in the sales team and trying to get you to keep paying a high price for low quality of service. Spent too much time explaining needs to someone who seemed to never relay the message to the tutor. Frustrating to constantly being required to login to confirm an ongoing schedule. Possibly this is more geared toward homeschool kids as they want to schedule lessons in the middle of the day when kids are at school. Overall, this felt like a poor use of both time and money, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.

I had a really great experience with Varisty Tutors. The representative I spoke with, Tina Johnson, was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. I never usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to because of how kind and helpful Tina was. She made everything easy to understand and took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. Her positive attitude and genuine care really stood out to me. Thanks to her help, I feel confident and excited to start my TEAS tutoring this Thursday. I truly appreciate the support and would most definitely recommend Varisty tutors to others! Thank you again.
Students need to be able to SAVE THEIR WHITEBOARDS. Wiping them clean after each lesson makes it impossible to keep all of your notes and homework in one place. We should not have to screenshot things from the recording and manually maintain them in a google drive.
