I purchased a Google Pixel 3 XL from…

I purchased a Google Pixel 3 XL from VDC GmbH & Co. KG, which was advertised as "Like New – no signs of use".

After only limited use as a secondary phone, the camera stopped working completely (black screen), making the device unusable.

I contacted the seller multiple times, but they refused to provide any solution. Even after Amazon contacted them several times, no support was offered and the case was closed without resolution.

This experience was very disappointing. I expected better support, especially for an item described as "Like New".

I would not recommend this seller based on my experience.

Wir haben den von Ihnen geschilderten Sachverhalt erneut geprüft.

Das betreffende Gerät befindet sich seit Mai 2024 in Ihrem Besitz und wurde entsprechend über einen längeren Zeitraum genutzt. Zudem handelt es sich um ein generalüberholtes (refurbished) Produkt mit einer Gewährleistungsfrist von 12 Monaten.

Diese Gewährleistungsfrist ist inzwischen abgelaufen. Vor diesem Hintergrund bestehen keine Ansprüche mehr aus der Gewährleistung.

Aus diesem Grund sehen wir keine Grundlage für eine weitere Bearbeitung Ihres Anliegens und haben dieses mehrfach abgelehnt.

Don't use if you are outside of Germany

I bought an item from Refurbed and the real seller was this company. They sent me confirmation, and information that the order is sent with German (?) shipping company Hermes. I didn't get any notifications after that. I waited 3 weeks, and started to wonder where my order is.
This company doesn't have any email address in their confirmation where you could ask anything. Only information is a phone number, which obviously costs because it would be international phone call. Also the shipping company they use, doesn't have page in English. I don't understand if you are selling stuff outside of Germany, how you think people can handle anything, if you don't provide information in English! Also if there is a problem with my order, because of this company, it's not my job to pay (of the call) more money trying to solve it. If this company would be interested in providing good customer service, they'd have a free number, or page or email with English service, to give customer service. I'm really disappointed on this company, on Refurber, and on Hermes shipping company.

Edit: Edit; after a lot of emails with Refurbed (also customer service really bad), I got information, that the order has arrived days ago, and has now been returned. I got working parcel id only after the order had been returned.
I cannot recommend any of these:
Refurbed, VDC GmbH & Co. KG, Hermes parcel company, PostNord parcel company. They had all my information, and not one of them gave me working parcel id or contacted me about the parcel.
Now I'm just waiting to HOPEFULLY get the refund. I will not use these ever again.
