This company bends over RKN (Russia)…

This company bends over RKN (Russia) despite being based in Latvia.

Imagine helping and listening and helping censorship machine/terrorists that started a war and try to suppress free speech in any way.

Very disappointing and I hope they will go bankrupt for their actions. Avoid Veesp at all cost.

Update after company response:

The reply from the company does not address the core issue.

For over 5 years, running a VPN on their infrastructure was explicitly allowed and widely used (including by well-known VPN providers). Only after recent policy changes did they suddenly prohibit it.

In private communication, they clearly linked this change to external pressure and risks related to RKN (Russia), stating that entire data centers could be affected. However, in their public response, they now claim the restriction is universal and unrelated to any specific region or external influence.

A Latvian company suddenly aligning its policies with Russian regulatory pressure while pretending it’s just a “global rule” is… interesting. What’s particularly ironic is that such compromises don’t actually guarantee anything. RKN will simply block your whole ranges one day and won't blink an eye.

Draw your own conclusions.

Hello

Sir, you have quite an active imagination.
To get to the point – our SLA prohibits the deployment of public VPN services on our virtual servers. It doesn’t matter to us which region your VPN is intended for – whether it’s Russia, Burundi or the UK – the rules are the same for everyone.

CAM WARNING

CAM WARNING: Account deleted after refund request

I’ve been a loyal customer since 2024. After a minor disagreement regarding the updated SLA (VPN sessions limit), I requested a refund for a period I had paid for just 3 days ago. Instead of a professional resolution, support was rude ("not for us to prove anything to you") and then literally DELETED my account without a refund.

This is a direct violation of Latvian and EU Consumer Laws. They took my money, refused to provide the service, and then destroyed the evidence by deleting my profile. Avoid Veesp at all costs if you value your money and data

Hello

Unfortunately, what you are writing is not true. You are twisting the facts.
You violated the terms of use of our services for several months. We notified you of this. You acknowledged the violation but only partially remedied it. You did not respond to our further requests to completely remedy the violation and only tried to intimidate us by threatening to contact the regulatory authorities.
I understand that you may have wanted to remain our customer and continue to violate the terms of use, but unfortunately, that is not how it works.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company, i have ultra bad experience with them, purchased vps in order to host my mail server but it turns out that port 25 for MTA is blocked, there is no information on their website stating that this port will be permanently blocked with no ability to unblock it, they also refuse to provide refund hiding behind ToS meanwhile in ToS or AUP there is no information of port blocking.

Hello,
Port 25 is blocked, and this is stated in our SLA.
We understand that this may not be stated in the most visible place, and we will consider how this can be changed.

Dedicated Hosting Experience

The efficiency with which this dedicated server operates is truly commendable. Loading times are consistently swift, regardless of the visitor influx. Such speed is integral in today's digital landscape, and this hosting solution has demonstrated its mettle in this regard.

Security is a paramount concern, especially for seasoned developers like myself. The layers of protection enveloping the dedicated server are akin to a bastion, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring continuous uptime.

The technical support provided merits special mention. In instances where intricacies arise, their support team's adeptness shines through. Their responses are prompt and rooted in technical prowess, mitigating any challenges effectively.

My engagement with this hosting company and their dedicated server solution has been marked by professionalism and reliability. For those seeking hosting services that uphold the principles of stability and performance, I unequivocally recommend exploring this option. It's a pragmatic choice that aligns seamlessly with the demands of a seasoned developer.
