Why are these companies allowed to…

Why are these companies allowed to bully people. Sent a letter on behalf of a family member to advise that he was in the process of selling the vehicle and was not the driver of a 13min stop at 1am in the morning. no reply just a citation for him to go to court so he is now forked out £160 of his pension for nothing. Government should intervene NOW!!!

Picked family member up at bristol

I picked a family member up at Bristol airport.

I was ticked. The car who took the pictures of me had a bring string of traffic behind him while there was nothing behind me.. I rang the office after getting the number from Bristol airport as all numbers on letter are for payment only.

The attitude on the staff stinks for example the date on the letter was the 13th may 2025 and was not recieved until the 7th June and when i rang and explained it had been delivered late I was told that's the problem of the post office and it needs to be payed before more charges are added.

I then rang up a week later to pay the charge and I also requested a reasonable adjustment to raise complaints of not only unfair treatment but also to the way I was spoken to on the phone lines. I was told that first they have no idea what I'm talking about when requesting a reasonable adjustment under the equality act 2010. I was constantly put on hold when speaking the truth to them and then they would suddenly come back and asked me if I have calmed down and they caused massive amounts of distress, alarm, anxiety and total humiliation.

It is not nice having disability taken the piss out of by these conservative party pirates at VCS and I've found myself taking my complaint to the chief executive due to the fact I was denied many reasonable adjustments and had to call someone to come write a email for me further discriminating against myself by taking my independence away OTHERWISE they made it SO I COULD NOT COMPLAIN which tells EVERYONE EVERYTHING they need to know about this version of the black pearl that VCS use !!

They have 14 calender days or when those phone calls are recieved I will be seeing you in court VCS and I WILL be taking the jobs of those 2 idiots you have answering the phones !

Went to a 40 minute physio appointment…

Went to a 40 minute physio appointment and got a letter approximately 3 weeks later with a demand fir £100. I was parked in the private car park of a building leased by the physiotherapist. I appealed the fine and openly admitted being parked and the reason why. The appeal was rejected because I took too long to appeal. I have now received a letter saying that it is now £160. Sheriff Court proceedings have been instructed if not paid in 10 days. My credit rating will be affected if decree granted. See you in court

Missed turning for car park at Leeds…

Missed turning for car park at Leeds airport, stopped to workout what to do, BANG, fixed penalty notice! VCS spent 2 months, deciding what to do, the fine increasing in this time. I got sick, decided to fight back, and surprise surprise, they backed down. A company of bullying and intimidating chancers.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. I received two separate fines for what was clearly a single short stop at the Fuel Station. The company used photographs of my car from different angles to falsely claim two violations, effectively charging twice for the same incident.

The signage was unclear, and instead of resolving the issue fairly after my appeal, they simply rejected it without properly considering the facts.
In my opinion, this is a predatory and unfair practice aimed at exploiting drivers rather than ensuring proper site management.

I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with this company.

Being charged a £170 for debt recovery

Being charged a £170 for debt recovery
Moved into property and requested parking permit few days after, this wasn’t delivered until months later and after serving us 3 PCNs. It’s not our fault they didn’t provide us with one on time. Can we take this to court as we are already paying back a £130 fine and now another £170 is being charged to us. This is a property we live in and get charged for parking in the premises

Demand with menaces

Why have these people sent my father-in-law a picture of a VW Golf and a demand for money? His car is a Kia. There should be an automatic penalty for wrongful demands.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company,

I pay £125 a month for private parking in the city, yet these scumbags still come round and check cars for permits. They would have seen my car with a permit for months before my permit finally slipped behind my dashboard and low and behold two parking fines FOR PARKING IN MY OWN PROPERTY WHICH I PAY PARKING FOR. Absolute robbing scum bag company, can't believe it's legal what they are doing.

Got lost in a desolate area and frightened

Entered the wrong road, trying to pick my Son up.. not familiar with these roads, stopped for 48 seconds, to readjust my satnav, not even realising there was a red line, could not see any signs at all? I was getting very anxious as the thought of my Son waiting for me on a desolate road in the dark. 48 seconds to readjust direction! Wow, £60 for a 48 seconds stop, not bad earner eh?? What a total rip off, I wouldn't have stopped if I didn't need to? it was necessary for me to stop to readjust as I was lost, I was in a desolate area, I was stressed, and I would normally not stop in such a desolate area but had no choice, as my Son was on my mind with him being in a desolate area too, and on his own..I needed to get to him asap. It's obvious you don't get to put your point across to the company by reading the other reviews.. so they have you by the short and curly's! They would have known it was a mobility car, not that I'm expecting any exceptions, but they would not have even been bothered if I had fell unwell or anything else, this is disgraceful, no humanity at all!

Opportunistic money stealing company.

Opportunistic money stealing company.
Before VCS and LCC demand fines for driving into Leeds Bradford airport there should be a clear sign stating: "If a driver stops at all within the red line zone, the car owner will receive TWO FINES one for £35 to Leeds City Council and 1 for £100 payable to Vehicle Control Services".
Then drivers would be aware not be stationary for a few seconds to pick someone up or for anything.

Picked up my 2 little ones from school parked in a parent and child parking space and have been fined for it.
My vehicle is registered to my old address so have now received a £170 fine in the post and gone past the appeal process apparently.
Baffled how parking in a parent and child parking space with children gets me a fine.
It’s now been passed on to dcbl for collection spoke to dcbl and they said there is nothing I can do. Disgusting!!

Modern Day Highway Robbers

Out Right Lies.
Picked my son up at Bristol Airport & had to stop on a roundabout into the pick-up area because a car was blocking my way. Their mobile patrol video vehicle was behind me & at no point did the driver get out to see what the issue was or to offer any help or advice. I was STOPED for less than a minute then entered the pick-up point collected my son then paid £6 for the privilege of doing so in under 3 minutes, Now been issued with a £100 Charge Notice, spoke to a very young lady in their office explaining the above but she was totally uninterested & her advice was "Well if you don't pay it we will take you to court & it will cost you a lot more" When I asked if their vehicle had also been issued with a Charge Notice for stopping & also blocking vehicle movement on the roundabout she hung up but not quickly enough that I heard her calling me a F###ing P###k. Can't wait for round two, I was at work when I called & all our calls are recorded 😉

Vexatious abusers of process

Please note that you only become subject to a CCJ if (and only if) you lose your case in the County Court and then ***refuse*** to pay. However, court is a long way down the line.

VCS infer that you will be subject to a CCJ--this is their opening gambit aimed solely at frightening you into paying. If, however, you think you have a defensible case then you should refuse to pay and proceed to court (the judge will generally be sympathetic, providing you have a defence).

Do NOT allow VCS to frighten you into paying. If you have a defence they will take you right to the steps of the court but, more often than not, the matter will be struck out by the judge because VCS' claims are at best vexatious and at worst an abuse of process.

Took a wrong turn at Leeds Bradford…

Took a wrong turn at Leeds Bradford Airport, turned my car around to work out where to drive and hit with a £100 fine. Despite the pictures sent clearly shows i never pulled up, none of my wheels touched the red lines. Automated fines with no common sense. Disgusting company as I drove on to pay £12 for picking family members up from their flight, 2 weeks later I'm accused of stopping at double red lines with a £100 invoice, I'll see you in court.

Terrible company

Terrible company. They fined me for parking at my own residence while my parking permit was on display! I tried to call many times and also officially appeal as I had every right to park where I was, but they were extremely unhelpful and only cared about financial gain.

I would advice avoiding this company at all costs.

Bad Service and Not Surprised

If I could give a negative star, I would. I received a parking ticket at Media City UK in Salford, even though I wasn't the one driving—my friend was. We were fined for parking in a "disabled parking" spot, but there were no clear markings indicating this. I raised the issue with VCS, and they refused my claim, sending me to the IAS, who didn’t properly investigate. Instead, they copied and pasted VCS's response and told me I couldn’t contact them further about the appeal.

I also requested to pay the fine later, as it wasn’t in my budget, but they told me to seek financial help elsewhere. If I don’t pay within 14 days, I’ll be taken to court.

After reading other reviews, it's shocking that they're still allowed to operate this way!
