I want to point out the skilled salesman who was very informative about the security systems we were interested in. They recommended different solutions and we went what was more affordable to us.

I made the mistake in believing the salesman with all the wonderful products verisure has to offer, wow what a mistake, 50% didn't work, you haver to have a factory reset on your door alarm every month it seems and they broke my door fitting the alarm lock after 6 months they finished the back lock, and now after 1 year I'm trying to cancel the subscription, OMG they say someone will call you in 15 days (then they say ow its working days) to confirm you cancellation, I'm now in week 6 and still no one, I call every other week and the same reply, this company get you in and then ignore you and hold on untill you give up. PLS DO NOT USE THEM - my subscription number is 12463363 for validation

On July 15th at 1:32 p.m. I had a very disrespectful conversation with an employee, "Isabell" or Isabella. I waited 30 minutes on the phone to speak with someone, and after attempting to retell my situation to her, she told me there was nothing she could do. When I asked to speak to someone else, she refused to help me and HUNG UP THE CALL when I expressed to her I was not satisfied with the help I received from her today and wish to speak with someone else. Absolutely unacceptable. Really, she needs to be reprimanded for her lack of care towards the customer. I am in a very frustrating situation with my invoices being incorrect over the last month, and she provided me with absolutely no help whatsoever and did not even attempt to remedy my frustration.
Verisure has not not contact me about this situation AT ALL even tho I have submitted two email complaints - and with all my years with Verisure, this is hands down the WORST experience I have ever had.
August 2nd 2024 update - I have submitted my information to Verisure and have not heard anything from them yet.

I have this system 5 years. I move new place and order them again. This safety feeling and order managing for so less payment is very good deal for me.

I would like to share the pre-sales experience we had with Verisure. Not to slam the company, but to allow other prospective customers to be better prepared than we were. We didn't like the experience and in the end both we and Verisure wasted our time.
The Verisure website doesn't list prices. For me, that's a bit of a red flag (what are they hiding?). The official reading is that they need to come by to your house to make a tailor-made quote. We made an appointment and the salesperson came the same evening. So far, so good.
He gave a nice demo. The salesperson was friendly, knowledgeable and the technology looked good.
The tailor-made quote was a bit underwhelming. It amounted to counting the number of door contacts and cameras - something I could easily have done myself. A package price rolls out for the initial equipment and installation and a monthly charge. That's when things started to get a little weird.
The price quoted for our Amsterdam apartment without its own front door was 1584 euro initially and then 50 euro and change per month. That TCO was much more than we were willing to pay (almost 8,000 euro over 10 years) and we said so.
We asked the salesperson to explain the numbers. Can we take this out, what if we don't have that, etcetera. He couldn't explain very well. "It is all a package and it doesn't make sense to take anything out". However, using their own form, we managed to spot a mistake where they quoted 239 euro too much for the door contacts. Even with that, though, we were far from where we wanted to be.
My wife had spotted on the Verisure website a 60% discount during the month of July for a doorbell solution. Not this product and honestly, I didn't think it was going to work. But the salesperson got his phone and called his manager (could have been real, could have been a show - his manager was also available at 9 pm?). Sure enough, he got approval for the 60% discount!
That was red flag #2: apparently, there is so much margin in the solution that they can afford to give almost two thirds off. What if we hadn't asked?
After correction and applying the discount, we were at 540 euro for the solution, which we were ok with. Red flag #3 came when we heard the "manager" (who was on speakerphone or just spoke very loudly) ask our salesperson: do you have all the equipment with you? He said he did. My wife and I looked at each other: he wants to install it NOW? Straight away?
However, we still had the 50 EUR/month service charge and that was the biggest cost component. Buoyed by the apparent discounts on offer, I set about getting that down, too. But that proved to be a hard limit. It revealed the business model that Verisure applies: the equipment doesn't matter as much, it's the lifecycle business. There's nothing wrong with that, but be up front about it and put it on your website.
Try as I might, I did not get anywhere lowering the service cost structurally. I managed to eek out a 10 euro discount for 6 months - 60 euro compared to 6000 over ten years, woohoo, 1%. Not what I was looking for.
The Verisure package consists of two components: first, the basic package with the remote command center that can notify the police (the one added value we wanted over a self-install alarm) for 36 euro. Then, there is an optional package for 12 euro per month that provides some features like the activation of a quite comical smoke screen that I don't think would have worked in our situation, and a personal panic button on your phone. We didn't want these features so much.
At first, they didn't let me strip out the 12-euro package even though their quote form clearly said it was optional. Then, I tried to make a counteroffer by saying: if you take the 10 euro per month off the 36 structurally, we have a deal. I still thought 12x26=312 euro per year for doing nothing 99.9% of the time was pretty well paid. But like I said, no movement at all and we concluded we had no deal. We politely asked the salesperson to pack up all his components and leave.
Why am I telling you all this? Verisure sounds good and I'm sure they actually have a lot of satisfied customers. This reputation, combined with their opaque public pricing, might make you invite their salesperson to your home.
That's where, in my opinion, the sales pressure was a bit too much. Older or perhaps just nicer people than I am may feel compelled to sign. Maybe they don't ask for discount because they feel that's rude and pay 1,000 euro too much.
Also, I feel there should be a period where you can consider what you're getting into. Read the fine print. Will the alarm even work if I ever cancel the subscription? I (now) assume not. Install now, pay and you're stuck - maybe not even legally, but many (nice) people will perceive it that way.
Good solution probably, but more than we wanted to pay and the process could have been better.

Good help desk
There have been times that I was contacted since, for example, I turned on the full alarm while my girlfriend still was in the home. At those times the help desk who contacted my girlfriend and me always stayed friendly and was helpfull.
Also when the alarm went off due to something shaking the backdoor while we were not at home they stayed on watch to see if it was indeed just the wind (or a neighbor slamming a door) or burglars.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Verisure that I feel compelled to share. When I decided to install the Verisure system, I was misled by false promises made by the Sales Manager.
Firstly, I was assured that my monthly invoice would be fixed 30 euros. However, after a few months, the amount unexpectedly increased to 54 euros without any prior notification. This surprise increase was never communicated to me during the installation or afterwards.
Secondly, I provided four referrals to Verisure,, with the understanding that I would receive a referral bonus. Despite following up with Sales Manager, I have not received any referral discounts. His response was particularly frustrating as he claimed he was not responsible for this issue.
POV: I have already Send the email to Verisure team with all the relevant details

First of all I am Dutch, so why English.
When the system was installed, my name and address where inserted incorrectly. I tried several times to get these data changed. But until now without success. Internal verisure procedures suck.
We zijn nu zes dagen verder. Nog niets gehoord van Verisure. Lijkt iets te bevestigen

I got a huge discount on my installation cost when I mentioned that the initial price was way too high. Which is both the best and worst part of my experience: all of a sudden I got a 67% discount. Which is great offcourse, but it means that people who do not haggle are basically being ripped off. If I would not have recieved this discount, I would have selected a different supplier.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Michiel for my home security installation, and I couldn't be more happier with the service he provided. From the very beginning, his friendly attitude made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. He was incredibly willing to serve and went out of his way to ensure I got a great deal that fit within my budget.
What stood out most was his unwavering customer focus. He listened attentively to my needs and tailored the installation to meet every requirement. When I mentioned my busy schedule, he didn't hesitate to offer a weekend installation, going the extra mile to accommodate me. I highly recommend Michiel for anyone seeking a reliable, customer-oriented security specialist. His dedication and professionalism are truly commendable!
