Never again…
I placed an order for my dogs pain medication when she had a decent amount left. Needless to say, she went days without pain pills and we are still waiting for delivery…. Never again!!
Stole my $375 and sent dogs meds to another address and won’t rectify the situation
I changed my address in their system via the app. They still mailed my dog’s medicine to the old address. They refuse to resend me the meds I need these week without me paying another additional $375, nor will they credit me the $375 I spent on medicine I never received. I’ve never dealt with a company who won’t take responsibility for their errors and expect their customers to just eat $375. So now I will be forced to shell out another $375 with a different company like Chewy who respects and takes care of their customers and their pets. Either way my pets needed their meds this week and now they will be without and it will cause additional medical harm to them. I absolutely would NOT use this company.

Beware of this company who sells their product online. They lied in the description of their product and sale and when I tried to warn potential customers on Amazon, the review was deleted. They are also deleting bad reviews. Stay away from this company
Promotions are sent via email
Promotions are sent via email. When trying to use them. You are told you can't. It's frustrating. I wish vets would find another source that will work with their customers. Prescription food is expensive and seeing promos and not getting the discount is sad!

Took my dog to get discounted rabies shots at tractor supply and I have yet to get the documents saying the vaccination was given other than the tag. I did get a diagnosis that my dog had a heart murmur and that I should get some supplements and take him to the vet. I have gotten multiple emails wanting to prescribe medication for my dogs “probably” bogus heart murmur but still haven’t gotten the documentation saying that he was given the vaccination. This company is unscrupulous and I believe they are fraudulent. The old couple in front of me was sold $400 worth of BS vaccines and supplements.
Refund Policy
We had automatic renewal for our pet's prescriptions. Which up until now worked fine. However, we just moved about 10min away from our last address, and we had forgotten to let Vetsource know about the address change. Well, prescription was sent to old address and returned back to Vetsource. So, Vetsource told us that they can't refund our $600 prescription fee. But that can give us a $100 discount on a new order. I know we messed up and not letting them know about the address change. But, charge us a new delivery fee and send the prescription back... Not a entire new order.
promo coupons put you on autoship
customer service was rude when I wanted to return items I hadn't agree to receive. previously had ordered meds and I used a promo coupon which automatically put this on autoship. I didn't want meds sent every few months, I couldn't return items, Representative was rude saying I should read emails that looked like ads which were sent out too often. I delete nuisance emails from company. Plan to use Chewy.
Slow shipping and Bad Customer Service
My dog’s medication that he needs daily was several days later than expected and I ended up having to go pick up a refill from his vet since his medication from vet source would not come in time. Customer service was extremely unhelpful in getting anything resolved or finding the lost package. Shipping is extremely slow and there are better prices elsewhere
Awful Customer Service!
They sent my dogs medication to the wrong address! I understand that mistakes can happen but when they do, and the person calls in upset, you don't get to tell them not to be hostile and hang up on them!
Their shipping method for perishable medication has become a joke.
I'm about done with VetSource. They've gone to a VERY questionable form of shipping perishable medication. They used to ship my cats' insulin in a very good box which was insulated very well, kept the medication cool. They dumped that in favor of a padded plastic packaging, citing "environmental concerns". Can you believe that crap. Now two times in a row, my cats' insulin arrived with prolonged heat exposure, rendering the medication bad. They pack each shipment of perishable medication with a temperature sensitive card that indicates levels of heat exposure. When they shipped in the insulated boxes, the card never indicated any heat exposure. Now the cheap plastic padded package mostly indicates 2 of the three exposure levels during the spring, summer and fall. I'm starting to look around for someone else to order from. They've become incompetent.
The Vetsource website is terrible
The Vetsource website is terrible. An account shouldn't be tied to a credit card which often changes.
Vetsource--would not recommend
Vetsource recently contracted with Costco for pet meds. I assume that if Costco is using a company that the experience would be a good one. Bad assumption.
My vet has decided that they will no longer give verbal or electronic Rx to online companies. Ok, their prerogative.
Vetsource contacted the vet, was told that the client (me) needed to come in and get a hard copy Rx to submit to Vetsource.
Vetsource then did nothing. They did not contact me. They did not put this information into my account. And, they did not cancel the order. They charged my card when the order was placed but did not refund the money.
I called Vetsource to see what was going on and was told that the only way to really get an update on a order was to call them and, if the new order that I placed with my new vet did not go through, I would need to call them to find out!!!!!
Seriously
so not worth this.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Overpriced meds. Ridiculous handling charge. Shipping rates that verge on extortion. This is a favorite of sketchy vets because of the kickback. Do your homework in Bloomington, IN.

At least 6 times while utilizing vetsource, they have noted a payment failure. The money was there, and the same card each time. They have even cleared 1, but payment failed the second one accompanying it. I will discuss with vet about picking it up at vet office at this point.
Sent Free Replacement When USPS Lost Package.
I'm not sure what the other bad reviews are about but we used this service for our dogs heart and flea meds. When USPS delivered the flea meds to the wrong address and we never received it, Vetsource promptly mailed us out a replacement for no charge. That was very nice of them and they could have said "you'll have to deal with USPS" but they didn't, they promptly shipped out a replacement.
The prices seem to be on par or cheaper than 1-800-petmeds or the Vet's office prices. Overall I recommend this company for Pet supplies and will continue to use them for our dog's flea and heart-worm meds.
Terrible customer service, delivery, and wildly overpriced.
Terrible customer service, delivery, and wildly overpriced.
They informed me the day before delivery that our meds were out of stock, then took days to get in touch with the vet to set up delivery of an alternative medication.
When I contacted support they were useless.I got the same meds at Chewy.com for less that half the price.
Horrible
Horrible! I always use Chewy however my vet sang the praises of Vetsource.i placed an order for my dogs meds and over 10 days later it still shows it's in transit. My dog suffers with no medication!!!

Vetsource contacted the wrong vet so my dogs medication order was denied. When I contacted Vetsource to ask them to contact the correct vet office I was told that they wouldn't do that. Customer service sucks so I cancelled the autoship of meds on both of my dogs and took my business to PetMeds. The medication was approved in less than an hour and will be here tomorrow.
