The adverts are wonderful, promising much. Unfortunately, it's utter tripe. The most infuriating few hours and, yes, waste of money I could have imagined. The idea that you have to pay to correct errors that the AI has made itself - eg. you ask to correct one small thing and it changes the entire shot - is beyond a joke. Never again. I'd rather have no music video at all, but would even more so rather pay thousands to a human with skills than use VidMuse ever again.

VidMuse has been one of the most frustrating software experiences I've ever paid for.

The platform is expensive, yet it feels like it's designed to constantly push users into buying more credits. What's even worse is that when the AI makes mistakes (and it makes plenty of them) you have to spend your own credits trying to fix those mistakes. Why am I paying extra to correct errors made by the software?

For a product that markets itself as AI-powered, it's surprisingly unintelligent. It frequently misunderstands prompts, generates inaccurate scenes, ignores details, and struggles with basic instructions. Instead of saving time, I found myself spending countless hours reworking projects, rewriting prompts, and burning through credits just to get something remotely usable.

The scene generation times are painfully slow. You wait... and wait... and wait, only to discover the output isn't what you asked for. Then you're forced to spend more credits and more time trying again. The entire process feels like an endless cycle of waiting, correcting mistakes, and spending money.

I've invested so much time into my current project that I'll finish the video, but the moment it's complete, I'll be canceling my subscription. The value simply isn't there. Between the high costs, constant credit consumption, slow rendering times, and underwhelming AI performance, this has been a deeply disappointing experience.

My advice to anyone considering VidMuse: think carefully before spending your money. I wish I had read more honest reviews before subscribing. There are too many other AI video platforms available to justify the cost, frustration, and wasted time I've experienced here.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I genuinely cannot recommend this platform based on my experience.

Concept is great, but it’s a massive token-burner with disappointing results

As an independent music artist, I use AI video tools to save time so I can focus on writing and recording. Unfortunately, VidMuse did not deliver. While the concept is cool, the platform is far less user-friendly than commercials make it seem.

The pricing structure is incredibly vague, and the platform burns through tokens rapidly—it constantly feels like you are being nickeled and dimed for every minor adjustment. I ultimately spent close to $100 on my first music video, and the final result is completely unusable. On the AI platforms I normally use, I could have achieved a much better result for half the cost. This will definitely be my first and last time using VidMuse.

VidMuse seems to make its biggest mistakes when you're about to run out of credits. Meaning, you have to buy more to fix THEIR errors. The imagery is stunningly realistic. The story boards VidMuse creates are imaginative and well planned. However, the service is more ambitious than its ability to follow through. I made 3 videos where the main character didn't change a freckle thoughout, but one video - about her party dress - the dress kept changing even though I had uploaded a picture of it. Every video has a major issue.

Im so frustrated with this software. Today I tried doing a very simple video, i stated objectives to minimize renderings, I set a hard budget. The AI did not foolow any one of the rules the budget at the end before rendering was estimated at 22x the original budget of 3,000 credits. The AI formatted it wrong, even though I explicitly asked for a Vevo quality movie. It Failed miserably on the stated budget. It missed so many detail. but the biggest problem to me is the inabilty to set a budget and to get anywhere near it. Biggest issue - it made the mistakes, yet you pay to fix it. Ihave yet to receive anhy response from technical support. If you want to burn your credits and not have a useable product - gp for it- For me - I give up on this company.

STILL NO REPLY.. its been months since i had issues, and a month since i posted my review. still no contact, no resolution, no refund, anything. basically they stole my money. their own program deleted my work and said it didn't know how or why and it couldn't be restored. refund my money. ALL of it. you didnt provide me ANY service. This company is a FRAUD

Extremely professional team and very understanding of new user mistakes/accidental credit burn. Video creation, generation and planning is top notch in workflow. Ease of access in creatives swap and integration.

Like most of the people posting reviews... I have to say that this is a terrible system. It doesn't do the things is sayd it can. Their AI ignores the most detailed requests... then charges you more when you try to fix errors it has made. Even with the most complete storyboard, you won't get what you are expecting... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Mixed results honestly, some scenes looked great but others were weak. Support got back to me fast though and showed me the right tools to use for better quality.

The premise of the software is great. One song upload and a prompt how you want the video to play out. I would say the AI gets it about 50% correct, but that's still 50% errors. You have to be prepared to spend a lot of credits (and time) to get your video in good shape. It's clearly work in progress at the moment, so I'm happy to forgive it for now. The management system is very good. It can take a while create the scenes, but when you consider the work it's doing, that's no surprise really. It's an exciting beginning but will frustrate most people.

When I first started my project I created a few locations and characters, after 2 days of very hard and frustrating work, all my assets disappeared,I was told they were saved but not visible anymore, I contacted customers services, they credited my account with a 100 credits( very small amount compared to what I had used so far), after a few days none of my assets were usable, I had to restart project from scratch, had to buy more credits in order to finish my video.
It is now over a month since my first days of work with Vid Muse and my first locations and characters are still not visible or usable…..Although I am pleased with my result it was very frustrating as the engine kept improvising and making errors, eating through my credits and my patience.
I forgot to cancel the recurring subscription, I sent 2 emails on the day of renewal telling them that I did not want to use Vid Muse anymore and that I would like my second payment back, no news, no reply, very bad customer service, stay away !

I had used vidmuse on trial period and was impressed with video. Therefore, I obtained a subscription and got few more videos which were of very good quality. Then one video came up with problems and had to ask support team to look into this. After several attempts to get this resolved they would say they were looking into problem then never get back. I Therefore asked for a refund especially with time frame but they kept saying it was in trial period. This platform is great till a problem occurs. Therefore, I would request everyone to stay well clear or they too could be £100's in debt. Not recommended. Started project 3rd April and still outstanding 18th May. Still waiting 7th August 2026. Give up. Not a good company to deal with 😐

It is so expensive with credits, I had 1000 credits and could only get 1 min of Video. Half the animations appear stolen and did not make any sense. I wrote a song for my 3 kids and all of a sudden there was 4 kids in one of the clips. Don't waist your money.

Quality was not good. Poor delivery with tons of errors. You'll have to spend more credits regenerating the poor mistakes. I made sure to end my subscription. I've taken screenshots of proof for cancellation. They are still trying to auto charge me. I sent them the proof. I told them that I will have to be forced to delete my account if this persists. Of course with no surprise they still continue to try to take my money. I DELETED my account with them. They do the impossible and are still trying to take my money when there isn't an account. Stay away from this company... Money hungry thieves...

My intention was to create a 20 second video clip of an interview with a reggae artist. Two shots, one question from the interviewer (off camera), then a response from the artist (on camera). First, I had to go and use a different AI service to generate the interviewer's voice dialogue (because Vidmuse gave me computer generated garbage that sounded awful), then upload that audio to Vidmuse. I never got a preview of the artist dialogue audio, because it repeatedly failed to generate anything at all, so it kept giving me the interviewer audio and then nothing at all for 16 seconds, just the artist on mute, I mean his mouth was moving so there was some kind of dialogue being generated, but no audio every time. Even after I went elsewhere AGAIN and created an audio clip of the EXACT ARTIST DIALOGUE needed, the AI still failed to integrate it into the clip. This doesn't seem like a mistake an AI would make repeatedly, so after this experience it is my conclusion that Vidmuse intentionally tried to burn up all my "free" credits, forcing me to have to buy more in order to finish the video. Well with the poor quality I have experienced thus far, I wonder who in their right mind would EVER pay for what they offer. I mean, I can't even imagine how much it must've cost those who have actually gotten quality results from this service.

It will sometimes produce something usable. It will often fail and trust me - THEY WILL NOT care, they will NOT refund your credits, most likely they won't even answer your feedback. They built the AI to be SUPER on your side as it steals your money. Very Karen of them. My personal experience was that I loved it - but then I hated it far more than I ever loved it. There is really some great technology there, but it is clearly being built out on the customer service end by truly, ravenously, rapaciously disinterested money-grabbers. Which I sort of respect? But I cannot recommend the tool. It's cold garbage in the end. Stay away.

Could have been good, came up with a good storyline... then ran into 'problems', btw if you want to fix their problems, buy more credits, again and again. Stay away from this platform their 'bugs' will cost you

I think 🤔 this is a good app I only made one video so far with it the lip sync was good but the images wasn’t consistent but all in all the rest of it was really good far as coming up with the plot of the video and things like that vary easy to learn

It makes consitant mistakes, deletes 7 hours worth of work and makes you pay for its own mistakes. When its addressed they give you 1 quarter of the credits lost as a good will gesture. Do not use this if your somewhat detailed and want more than just a 10 second clip
