This website is a joke
This website is a joke. It will generate useless video, and when you want to edit it, you can't, because the chat with the agent is not working. Generating different images to edit the scene is also not working, and support can't do anything with that for months. Just don't waste money on that trash app.
Chatting with VidMuse is surprisingly…
Chatting with VidMuse is surprisingly natural, like talking to a mate who actually gest what I'm building. It usually hits the mark perfectly. Best way I've found to make a video quickly.
So many wrongs about this AI tool
So many wrongs about this AI tool, i have been charged 2 extra bills with no credits, this is not ok at all, i want my money back and i will give no good rewiews at all, so many of us has been fooled by this company. Dont go here because they are charging for more that you get.
Stay away from this company......
vidmuse is actually quite fast
vidmuse is actually quite fast. I've done 2 videos so far and they took about 30 mins each. sure, tweaking the small stuff adds time but the end result is totally worth the wait.

They bait you all the way through the process.. waste over 20 minutes of your time for no results... You have 2o minutes of your life to throw away on false music video promises... Go ahead.. CEO should be locked up
It's the same story as the others
It's the same story as the others, charged my credit card without warning. The points you have to use are expensive. The program is really slow. The images look real, but the videos aren't realistic at all.
Wrongful CC charges, slow/no support, final video full of errors & inconsistencies
Vidmuse is a mixed bag of errors, frustration, and occasionally decent results. I made two videos. The first video was in Jan 2026. It was very short (about :53s) and I used a basic VidMuse account that includes 1,000 free credits. I uploaded an AI song from another service along with a photograph of my main character and told the AI agent to create a video in a very specific style of anime. I gave the AI agent very little instruction and instead allowed it to create the video storyboard based entirely on the lyrics. The process was very quick, very easy, and the result was exactly what I wanted.
Based on that result, I came back to Vidmuse for a second video in early Feb 2026. I uploaded an AI song from another service along with a photograph of my two main characters and selected 90s animation style. The song for this video was 3:10 and it was immediately clear that I wouldn’t be able to complete it with only 1,000 free credits. I asked the AI agent to estimate the total project cost, which came in at just under 3,000 credits. I then purchased a Pro subscription of 4,000 credits/mo for $39/mo (credits do NOT rollover). It started out okay – the AI tool generated perfect animated references for both characters and the creative concept summary matched my lyrics. However, the animated storyboard was full of errors and inconsistencies and several of the first-frame images appeared to have been created with a completely different AI model of a much lesser quality. Over the next several WEEKS, I made countless attempts to complete my video, but the AI tool kept changing my instructions, using lower quality AI models regardless of which one I chose, and consuming credits at an alarming rate. The AI agent suggested multiple times that I contact customer support for a credit refund, which I did. Each time, it took support at least a couple of days to respond. They did provide me with “complimentary credits” a couple of times, but the credits they provided were far less than the amount consumed by the frequent AI errors. I ended up way over budget attempting to correct the constant errors and ultimately got so frustrated that I canceled my Pro subscription a few days before it was set to auto-renew. BUT THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE RENEWAL ANYWAY. I sent several messages to customer support requesting a refund for the wrongful cc charge but never got a response. After waiting a couple of weeks and not wanting to waste my money (because credits do not rollover), I ended up using my wrongfully-renewed credit balance to complete my video. By the end, I had to use my entire credit balance and my final video was still full of errors and inconsistencies that the AI tool simply refused to correct. I’ve canceled my Pro subscription AGAIN and now I’m left with my fingers crossed hoping they don’t hit my cc anyway (AGAIN).
Vidmuse charged my credit card even…
Vidmuse charged my credit card even though my subscription was cancelled a long time ago. In my account, the subscription is clearly inactive, and the only option available is “Resume Subscription,” which proves I did not restart it.
Despite this, they still took money without my permission.
I have contacted them before, and this is now the second time I’m trying to get this resolved. This should not happen. I expect a full refund and proper handling of this issue.
This AI platform Ate Up Over 3000
This AI platform ate up over 3000 credits for a music video i was trying to create that was almost 4 minutes long. And the cost is $39 a month that I paid to start, and all my credits for the month were eaten up very quickly while the AI agent worked all day to make a simple 3 to 4 minute video. Another video i was working on which took hours because the AI agent kept stopping and asking my approval for every little thing "got totally erased" by the AI when i simply asked it to remove text appearing in my video scenes as large titles on certain scenes that i "absolutely did not ask for" and then the AI agent was taking an excruciatingly long amount of time to fix the mistake it told me it made. And in the middle of the AI making mistakes and taking forever to create something usable... All my credits were sucked up, and money used and wasted; just to end up with absolutely nothing i can use for anything. I unsubscribed same day because of my experience. However, despite my experience, I did find the AI platform, performance and video results somewhat impressive and interesting and I might try Vidmuse again in the future. I hope the user experience improves over time.

Could be an amazing tool for rapid development, but is full of bugs that burn your money.
Another Update: Came back after quitting my subscription, got a nice short clip out of Vidmuse, hoped that it got better. Then: bugs again, burning tons of credits for internal errors where I got nothing back. I am done with this tool, just a constant source of user frustration.
Update: my project today was haunted by multiple bugs, overall I wasted a whole day and around 7k credits. Very frustrating experience! Let's see how customer service handles this and if I get refunded for a bug that caused that a fundamental step was missed to execute in the workflow.
First of all: yes, VidMuse feels still more like a MVP than a matured tool and there are a few bugs. And also yes, creating AI videos is not for free - but is $80 for a 4 minute video expensive? How much would you have paid for this a few years ago?
Where the tool excels is to bring vague ideas into life, giving rapid visual feedback of what works and what needs improvement. Don't expect that the first shot is perfekt, expect that you'll need to re-do shots.
The AI agent really guides one and like any agentic workflow, you still need to be in the driver seat, carefully reviewing the storyboard, the first frame images - but imagine the effort if you would need to do all this tedious work completely by yourself.
Overall: could be better, will hopefully mature over time and it enabled me to create really cool music videos in no time for a few dollars.
I spent a lot of time
I spent a lot of time, nerves and money, and in the end, instead of a video, I got complete shit((
Good visuals overall
I did run into a few small issues while using it, but nothing too serious. Overall the results were good. It can generate some really nice visuals.

to me
"Dear User,
We have received your feedback regarding the technical issues in your project, including missing audio and staging errors, as well as the weeklong delay in our response. We understand how frustrating these quality challenges have been for your workflow.
After a thorough review, we have concluded that these issues are related to the current boundaries of our generation models in handling complex scene requirements. Our records show that we previously provided over 3,000 credits as a gesture of goodwill to support your project that you spent over 7,000 credits creating. Since substantial compensation has already been issued to address these model-related limitations, we are unable to offer additional credit refunds at this time.
We sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the project results and the delay in our follow-up. Thank you for your patience and for sharing your detailed observations. For any further assistance, please reach out to us exclusively by submitting a new feedback form through this link:
Now after admitting they're program utterly failed. they still took my money, asked for extra money to fix it, got that extra money, spent those credits, utterlly failed to generate the video AGAIN (Failed 3 Times in Total), then sent me this sad email. Leaving me with a 2 credits balance, over $450 spent, NO VIDEO, No Refund, No Credits, and No Remorse.

Big waste of time
Big waste of time. A money grab. Continued to ask for credits "pretending" not to be able to complete my video unless I PAY more. A simple video without a lot of direction. Like... how can you not make this simple futuristic video with basic prompts that allowed for the system to basically create something unique. If you struggle with this then how are you able to produce videos with larger more complex prompts. This was a joke. They need to go back to the drawing board and re-release it after they make something people can actually use. This aint it!

I signed up for the Pro version- $396
I signed up for the Pro version- $396. The payment was processed and paid and I was given a receipt documenting the transaction. After creating 65% of a fairly complex video the app stopped. The reason given was my payment had not been received. This, despite clear evidence to the contrary. Two days later, and multiple emails and proof of payment from them, not a single peep from their support team. These guys are terrible. I’m giving it 24 hours then initiating a charge back. I can’t speak to the quality of the videos, but their customer service is non- existent. Stay away!!!

A bit pricey but good
I think it's a bit pricey, but I wanted to make a music video for my own song. I spent two full days on it, and I'm happy with the result. It's easy to use, but tweaking the details still takes some patience.

Has huge potential but an AI bot that…
Has huge potential but an AI bot that does not listen, linked to more bots thatignore prompts. Poor support, messages ignored. For that reason we will go elsewhere.
Update: Vidmuse replied on 25 March stating the following: 1. Nature of the Reported Issues (Model Limitations vs. System Bugs)
The issues you described—specifically the missing "diamond studs" and the orientation discrepancies after multiple retries—are not classified as system bugs. They are well-documented probabilistic limitations of current state-of-the-art Video Diffusion Models. Even the most advanced models in the industry (such as Veo and Kling) currently face inherent challenges in temporal consistency and precise spatial instruction following at a granular level. The AI Agent executes based on these models, and a "failed" shot due to aesthetic or detail-level drift is part of the experimental nature of AI creation.
2. Audit of Credit Compensation
Our records show that your account has already been granted a total of 1,700 free credits as a gesture of support for your creative journey. we will not be issuing any further credit compensations or refunds for this case.
3. Workflow Optimization Recommendations
To achieve the professional results you envision within the current technological framework, we recommend the following:
Strategic Re-rolling: AI generation is stochastic. If a shot drifts, we recommend using the "Re-roll" feature with slightly adjusted prompts rather than repeating the exact same instruction, which may lead to the same model bottleneck.
________
After raising issues, support responded with a detailed explanation about “probabilistic limitations” of video diffusion models. That’s fair—AI video is still evolving. However, prompt interpretation and instruction-following are not new problems, and the system repeatedly failed to follow clear, simple details even after multiple attempts.
At that point, being told to “re-roll” or keep adjusting prompts doesn’t feel like a workflow—it feels like trial and error with no reliability.
More importantly, earlier support messages were ignored, and the final response effectively closed the case without addressing the broader usability concerns.
A token gesture of 500 Credits were provided, but credits don’t fix consistency or responsiveness. All of our months credits and a large amount of Credits we had to buy due to ongoing issues wasted the credits without giving reasonable results.
In its current state, Vidmuse seems more experimental. We’ll be looking elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with VidMuse AI.
Customer support is essentially non-existent. I reached out multiple times regarding issues with the platform and never received a response. For a paid service, especially one that encourages upfront annual subscriptions, this lack of support is unacceptable.
The credit system is also extremely frustrating and lacks transparency. Credits are consumed quickly, even when the AI makes mistakes. In my case, the generated video included random foreign characters that I did not request, and I was expected to spend additional credits just to fix an error caused by their system. Credits were not refunded for these issues.
I paid for a full year in advance to save money, but after these problems, I requested a refund and have still received no response.
Overall, the platform feels unreliable, and the lack of accountability makes it difficult to recommend. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution before committing financially.

I do not want to give even one star. I spent the entire afternoon trying to use this, but it was extremely slow, and I couldn’t generate the video properly. Even though the payment was taken, I still cannot view the video.
Refund plz
