And the latest wine news, is good news for all those wine geeks out their, who can’t wait to brag about their vast knowledge regarding this lustrous drink. Yes! You have guessed right, it is once again time for the oenophiles to face the toughest exam of their life, in order to achieve the much coveted title of ‘Master of wine’. Started in the 1950s by the title-savvy British, the master of wine is the ultimate test of one’s wine knowledge. This test is held in three different locations around the world, viz. London, Sydney and Napa. For the past decade, on an average, only eight oenophiles have passed this test every year. This ‘notoriously’ difficult exam pushes the ability of a person as a successful oenophile, to the very extreme limits. But after all the hard work, the end result is sure worth all the pain you are expected to put in. So if you think you have what it takes to be Master of wine, then make most of this wine news, and try out the test for yourself.

Now it may occur to you that what is the utility of the above mentioned degree, and of the many other degrees that one may obtain in the field of wine-logy. Well, these degrees can get you some of the best wine jobs around the world! Brewery and wine industry is growing by the day and what with the old establishments trying to maintain their hold, and newer establishments coming up, their is no dearth of wine jobs for a oenophile who knows how to brew, taste and sell his wine.
