Absolute crap
Absolute crap! Useless customer service. Blocked my account if 7 years permanently for no reason at all. Waste of time.
Really disappointed with how Vinted…
Really disappointed with how Vinted handles non-collection situations.
I’ve seen cases where buyers don’t collect parcels, items get sent back, and sellers lose time and effort while shipping costs are still refunded to the buyer. This makes it too easy for people to misuse the system without real consequences.
There should be stricter rules in place — for example, not refunding shipping fees in cases of repeated non-collection, or applying penalties to discourage this behaviour.
The platform needs better protection for sellers, not just buyers
I have greatly enjoyed access to many items offered for sale at incredibly good prices. I have also had some success with selling items, although some quality good seem to have sunk without trace!
Great access to large numbers of quality items. Opportunity to sell things I no longer want, rather than throwing them away.
Vinted is so helpful when you have…three children
Vinted is so helpful when you have three children growing out of clothes, both for buying and selling on. My only quibble is that when selling e.g. an age 5-6 item, it is not clear whether to choose the 5 or 6 category. Clearly lots of sellers have this issue because one needs to search under both 5 and 6 if you are looking for 5-6 clothes. Under 6 you find 5-6 and 6-7 clothes. Vinted should sort this out and save buyers lots of time and make the experience better.
Blocked for Vinted error
Put on 5 of my 11 yo sons tracksuits on all bought from JD. Mixture of Adidas Nike and under armour. Immediately after I got email to say my account was banned for selling counterfeit goods. 3 out of 5 were flagged. Said couldn't dispute but I did. I uploaded the qr codes and actual labels from them to vinted and proof they were authentic. Twice they came back to say now we believe one is counterfeit and no come back. Won't tell which one but I'm disgusted very poor service and after proving twice just automated you are blocked. Will use eBay instead.

It’s definitely geared towards buyers -quite labour-intensive to sell
Highly flawed
This has to be the most dreadful of all marketplaces.
The system is full of flaws. Items whether as a pro or private seller can be loaded one at a time only. So if you have more than one and list the item again - even with a new photo - the chances are the system will accuse you of using a repeat image.
What has great potential has been ruined by over the top rules and a customer service that seems to only copy and paste. Help is none existent.
Highly disappointing.

Earlier this week after a five day ban…
Earlier this week after a five day ban for an alleged counterfeit item, it wasn't, and after a long awaited response from my appeal, they 'graciously' unblocked me. Great I thought, it's pay day so people will want to buy. Got ready to list my items and a message popped up to say my account had now been restricted for 5 days because of a used fragrance, it wasn't. I was totally gobsmacked. I appealed again, but still nothing. I am worn out by it. There's a fragrance called Benghal by Lancome that keeps appearing in listings for £20 and is so obviously fake and it's normally a give away because the seller has no reviews, which I have reported several times, but they say there's nothing wrong with it. I'm tired of trying to follow the terms and conditions when all I see is used makeup, used and fake perfume and fake designer bags, which are listed in the wrong categories under a random name. I'm done. I've been a good seller with great reviews, but they don't take that into consideration anymore.
The customer service is awful
The customer service is awful. I am having an issue with the app and the advisor just send me a list of things to do and closed the chat. None of the things fixed the issue and now no one is responding.

Great experience using Vinted. Managed to sell some books we no longer need so we’re happy with the app.
Vinted - 3500+ 5★ Seller Permanently Banned Over False Counterfeit Claim
I am extremely disappointed with my experience on Vinted.
My account was permanently banned after I was incorrectly accused of selling a counterfeit item. The item in question was a genuine Marks & Spencer girls’ summer dress, and the listing clearly showed all original labels as proof of authenticity.
I submitted an appeal and waited beyond the stated 120-hour review period. After more than 7 days, I received no decision and no human response to my emails—only automated replies, which made it impossible to properly resolve the issue.
As a genuine seller with over 3,500 five-star reviews, I have always taken pride in selling authentic items and maintaining a high standard of service. It is very disheartening to be treated this way and to lose access to the platform without a fair or transparent review.
Unfortunately, I can no longer buy or sell on Vinted, which is both frustrating and disappointing given my history on the platform.
Great experience so far!
I’ve only been on the site for a few weeks but have already sold six items. The whole process has been very smooth and easy to navigate
