Worse customer service ever

I sold many items on vinted never had a problem with my packaging. But this time something I sold arrived broken.
No problem I think. I will contact the customer service.
They took more than a month to decide that my packaging ( that is followings their guidelines, I have pictures that I sent them to prove it ) isn't strong or sturdy enough... It was a videogame pistol, in plastic, packed with 3 layers of bubble wrap + carton and they refuse to refund me and will only refund my buyer. This is the worse customer service ever, blaming their clients, following their own guidelines.

A Meaningful and Fun Hobby

I really like using Vinted because it helps me give my old clothes a second life instead of throwing them away. I get emotionally attached to my things, so it can be difficult to let them go. Selling them to someone who will enjoy and use them makes it much easier. I also discovered an extra hobby through it, and I genuinely enjoy the whole process.

Excellent and trusted manner in which to buy and sell on line

Very easy to shop on Vinted. Emmense variety to choose, from New and pre loved items to exclusive, high-end, Brand lables. All at reasonable prices. I've updated my wardrobe for a fraction of the cost l usually spend, as well as selling various items quick and easy. I'm quite happy that l was introduced to Vinted by a friend.

Terrible customer service

Site generally works well, but all of a sudden a two step verification is needed and I am completely locked out of my account with orders on their way. No way of communication with anyone as the account is needed. Worthless way of working in 2026.

I purchased a scanner through Vinted…

I purchased a scanner through Vinted which arrived defective, it would not turn on. I have video evidence proving this, recorded at the moment of receipt.

I returned the item carefully packaged, yet Vinted concluded the damage was caused by poor packaging on my part. Despite submitting video evidence and photos of the return packaging, Vinted has refused to refund me and has not investigated the matter properly.

To make matters worse, the order was automatically marked as completed without my consent, which Vinted used against me in their decision.

I am now left without the product and without a refund. €240 completely gone, with nothing to show for it. It is truly disheartening that a platform this size offers buyers so little protection. I did everything right, I have the evidence to prove it, and still I am the one losing out.

As a buyer, I feel completely unprotected by this platform. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when purchasing through Vinted. If something goes wrong, do not expect them to have your back.

Technical locker failure

Technical locker failure - No support for 3 days - Transaction 19407948544
My parcel was lost due to a Vinted Go locker glitch at Goudse Rijweg 28, Rotterdam, on 25.04. The locker opened, I placed the Shokz headphones inside and closed it, but the system didn't update. Order was cancelled and I lost my item. Support is ignoring my inquiry for 72 hours.

I demand a manual review of the locker logs and compensation for my lost property.

"UPDATE 05.05: Support is now sending the same automated templates in French, completely ignoring my Transaction ID and the technical nature of the problem. They refuse to escalate to a manager. This is a total denial of seller protection. Case #19407948544."
UPDATE 07.05: Still ZERO response from Vinted. Support (Yasmine) closed the chat to avoid investigation. Legal department is ignoring the formal complaint regarding Transaction 19407948544. This is a total scam. If no response by tomorrow, I am filing a police report at Politie Rotterdam.

FINAL UPDATE 08.05: Official police report has been filed with Politie Nederland. Case number: PL2600-260508-122238733. I have sent the proof to Vinted Legal. Let's see if they still claim the parcel 'wasn't sent' now that the authorities are involved
UPDATE 12.05: Vinted is still ignoring the case even after I provided a police report number. They are hiding behind automated messages and silence while my property is missing. Total lack of responsibility. I am now filing a formal complaint with ECC Netherlands.

WARNING

WARNING: Breda Sorting Hub is a "Black Hole" for parcels
Be careful when shipping via Vinted Go. My parcel (1775824411371655) has been stuck in an infinite loop at the Breda sorting center for days. This is the second time this has happened to me at this exact location.
The real issue isn't just the logistics failure; it’s the support. Vinted refuses to investigate or contact the warehouse, forcing a "25-day wait" even when tracking clearly shows the item is stalled. If you are buying or selling a rare/valuable item, be aware that Vinted will not lift a finger to physically locate it if it gets stuck in their own network.
I’ve had to escalate to their legal department and the ACM just to get a human response. Avoid using this service.
