Great! Quick!

It works so easy and i sell things that I don’t need anymore, it is nice to know somebody else is happy with it. The people who buy are even in far away countries!

Fake stuff and no support

I love Vinted but recently I came across the reality; they don’t support their users. The platform is getting full of fake stuff and when you try to report it you get automated messages that make no sense. It would be nice to get real people review the activity of people and keep it safe and real.

I would like to file a complaint regarding Vinted’s return service.

I run a small shop and regularly ship items through Vinted. However, whenever a return is required for any reason, the package simply disappears, and it becomes impossible to find any solution with Vinted. In the end, you just lose your item.

The buyer gets refunded (even in cases where they delayed picking up the package), and as a seller, you not only lose the sale but also the product itself. I have already lost four packages through Vinted—valuable vintage items—and so far I have received no proper support or assistance.

Where are all these returned packages going? I am certain I am not the only one experiencing this. This is unacceptable. You trust Vinted and Vinted Go with your products, and then they simply vanish, leaving you with nothing.

Customers are stealing money from you

Customers are stealing money from you. Without questions someone instantly bought a bag from me I just listed. When it arrived they claimed it’s fake, and said they don’t want the bag. I asked if they could return it but got ignored. Vinted asked for more photos to prove it’s real, but I couldn’t make more photos because the customer already received the package. Then Vinted just let the customer have the bag free. Which means I lost an item to someone who didn’t even want it. I believe she just wanted a free bag, because why not just send it back if you don’t want it?

Vinted is ignoring your consumer rights! 🛑

If Vinted Support is closing your chats without a resolution, using automated templates to deny your claims, or refusing to honor their "Buyer/Seller Protection"—take action now.

The Dutch Regulator (ACM) tracks these unfair practices. If enough people report them, they will be forced to change their policies and face heavy fines.

Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with Vinted.

I sold a solid plastic baby bath that got clearly damaged during transport. Instead of properly investigating, Vinted immediately blamed “insufficient packaging” — without providing any evidence.

Apparently, according to Vinted, even non-fragile items must be packed as if they are extremely delicate, otherwise the seller is held fully responsible.

What’s worse is the complete lack of customer service: only copy-paste replies, no real review, and no accountability from either Vinted or their shipping partner.

Result: buyer refunded, item destroyed, seller gets nothing.

Be aware: as a seller, you are not protected at all if something goes wrong.

I am sharing this, as this is not how a trustworthy marketplace should handle disputes.

Ridiculous account restrictions

I don’t know why but my account got restricted twice in a row..? Vinted seems to have incredibly sensitive tools in place for detecting listings that are not allowed, but at the same time (while i am following the rules completely) the app is fullll of dropshippers having 500 accounts and selling the same item on every one of them, straight from shein, alixpress, you name it. Soooo they should care a little more about their systems trying to detect fraudulent content vs blocking normies like myself lol.

Vinted Support Refusing to Honor 25-Day Policy

​I am a seller currently being "ghosted" by Vinted Support (Agent Ahmed). My parcel has been stagnant for 17 days and was sent 25 days ago meeting Vinted’s own criteria for a 'Lost Item' claim.
​Instead of processing the payout, Support has manually closed my ticket 31 times without a single response. This is a systemic failure of Seller Protection and a willful breach of contract. I have documented every single closure for my legal insurance (ARAG) and am filing a formal complaint with the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).
​Vinted, pleae explain why your agents are allowed to ignore policy and "silent close" legitimate claims dozens of times. Is this a default intentional practice?

I'm learning as I go about buying and selling on Vinted. One thing that turns me off is picking up at the butchers shop that have horrible hours or a Travel agent who you can only pick up after noon and in hidden in the back corner of a tiny town with no sign saying Vinted pick up. I'm just going to stop shopping Vinted unless its delivered to the Vinted box in my town. I see no savings if I pay for delivery to one of your spots and I have to drive 45 minutes with the gas prices now.
I'm done buying for a while.
