Like others have said, they sent me a few automated emails when I ordered but not an actual order confirmation or delivery details. I tried contacting them to query this - they never replied but my order did turn up after a few days.
I had some queries about the product once I'd received it so I tried their contact form and emailing directly, but didn't get replies to either of those.
As others have said, their customer service seems to be non-existant.

Regarding the product, I wanted to colour some ABS plastic which as far as I know should be compatible with their dyes, but it seems to sit on the surface like a paint or lacquer and has not bonded well. The finish looks pretty bad and it's already flaking in places. Perhaps I did something wrong, but this product definitely has not worked for me.

Avoid this company, bunch of con artists.
Tried to leave a negative review of the spray vinyl dye they sell and claim it's a dye, completely false, it's a spray plastic coating, which comes off when rubbed with a simple baby wipe ..
Emails not answered and reviews not posted....

I ordered two bottles of shoe dye on December 24th - not received. I contacted them by email and the customer service form on their website - no response. Started a PayPal dispute today.

Tried to contact this company again. They DO NOT answer telephones and do not reply to emails.
Complete SCAM COMPANY who take your money and do not send the goods. Avoid unless you want to lose your money.

Red suede dye made shoes pink. Unsure if bad batch of dye or if dye is not good quality. Sent company three emails over a two week period with photos asking for advice or alternate dye to be supplied. Never had any answer. Went online to search for other dyes and discovered the product this company sell is much cheaper elsewhere. I tried to support this company due to its claim of being a family run company but they seem to not have that ethos in reality. Its a shame as i run a family business and it really erodes that label if you mistreat and ignore customers when they have problems with the product you supply.

poor experience. High price, bad quality

i wish i had read the reviews before ordering, they are a terrible company whose product is useless, with non existent customer service. AVOID AT ALL COST

Vinyl Dye are without doubt the worst company that I have purchased anything from for many years.
I purchased some TRG Vinyl Dye to change the colour of some bar stools and experienced disastrous results with both the product and any form of backup from the company (Astro Spray).
1. The “dye” is a paint and does not impregnate the vinyl as claimed.
2. The coverage of each can is only half of that claimed necessitating the purchase of twice the quantity.
3. The stools remained tacky to the touch for over a week. After an extended time allowed to cure they were put back into use. After just ten minutes of being subjected to body heat they stuck to clothing leaving fibres on the stools. Areas of the “dye” also came off the stools.
4. Three emails and two phone calls to this company have been completely ignored. The subjects of these included pre-purchase advice enquiry, an overcharge on postage as well as my experiences of using the product and enquiring what could be done to rectify the situation.
5. Apart from being £90 out of pocket for materials, I have also lost the original value of the stools which cannot be used, sold or apparently rectified.
6. To add insult to injury, Vinyl Dye bombard you with totally superfluous emails in-between order and delivery. Despite them ignoring my attempts to contact them they then have the cheek send an email asking for pictures of how things went for testimonial purposes!
Terrible experience - avoid. You have been warned!

I paid for the dye and never received it , no response to emails terrible company - do not use

The products are delivered quickly and the paint itself goes on well.
Colour matching to swatch can be off (particularly with the browns).
Customers service does not exist, don’t try to get a refund. Would not recommend.

Avoid like the plague, paid for items still haven't recieved them. Customer care is non existent

I bought black vinyl dye for my car door cards to change the colour. The dye was very shiny. So I bought matt lacquer cost of £15.85 delivered not knowing the make at this point I was expecting a vinyl product but it was only hycote matt lacquer that you can pick up anywhere for £5

This stuff is brilliant. You need to follow the instructions carefully and then you get fantastic results. I dyed a pair of shoes that were scuffed and they have come up like new. I called before I ordered and Jen was very helpful. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Bought the black vinyl dye for my classic car. Amazing service, knowledgeable staff, quick delivery and great product. Shame some reviews so poor as I cannot recommend this company enough.

This vinyl dye is rubbish the paint doesn't dry properly and after it appears dry you sit on it and the warmth just sends it sticky and you stick to the seat, the company know about this problem they have had problems with it for ages but they don't care... We're the mugs that pay good money and are ripped off with known faulty goods. STAY AWAY.

Terrible service and the product is ineffective. I was given a discount code and then told I had to pay extra before dispatch. Do not use this company

So the promise was the vinyl dye actually dyes the vinyl. It DOES NOT. It paints it. And then it flakes off. I sprayed my car seats. It looked fine. Then started pealing off. Any knock - sitting on them. Anything and the "paint" just comes away. It's GREAT if you made a mistake from using the dye. As a bit of elbow grease and you can take it all off in no time. But to spend almost £100 in figuring this out. Not great. Currently trying to get my money back. Not heard back yet.

Leather dye does not work, just wipes off.

Tried cleaning with several different products,

Applying the dye overnight, with force, even just dab on as the instruction. Etc.

I contacted Vinyl Dye to inquire about a leather Dye for my motorcycle seat. Jenny called me back and told me she would discuss with her team, what is the appropriate colour and best product to offer me.

Great service, super quick to respond, highly recommended business to purchase from.

Truly abysmal Customer Service. I have been bombarded with ridiculous emails about using the product since placing my order. These were neither invited nor welcome. I asked the company to cancel my order TWICE & refund me. They ignored my emails & are shipping anyway. More utter, childish nonsense in the accompanying email. An example of the utter drivel that they include in their emails is as follows:

“The magic is happening; your precious items are being hand selected by one of the family right now. After being carefully placed in a row and checked for damage, each can of spray, each pot of dye is saying their last goodbyes to one another. They’ve had a tremendous journey so far; Having come from the far-off lands of Canada and Europe, they lay in wait here at VinylDye HQ for one lucky customer who wants to transform something they own to look exactly they way THEY always wanted. After the last goodbyes, they are carefully put in the strongest cardboard bubble envelopes for the final leg of their journey. Soon you’ll get an email from one of our shipping partners, they will keep you updated on this story, your story, to the perfect colour. Enjoy your project, we love to hear about all projects and love photos even more. Please do just reply to this email with some before and after photos, and we’ll share them with the world, with our without your name as you request, but if you don’t request, we won’t include your full name. It remains to be seen if the product turns up. Steer WELL CLEAR of this company. They are unreliable. I will update if/as necessary.
