My experience is pretty much the same customer experience that everyone else has had. When I signed up for services in March of 2022. I was told that this whole process would take between 30 and 90 days and that I would recieve a roof voucher, a one time cost replacement for the solar panels when my roof shingles needed to be replaced, lies. I finally turned the power on to the solar panel in August of 2022. Yes "I", I called to check the status of my solar panels for like the 30th time and I was just told to go outside and flip two switches. Why is the customer having to this? Do the math, this whole project took way longer than 90 days and that was after making several phone calls. My sales rep Charlie and Matt. No where to found. They make their commission of the sale, they don't return phone calls or text messages. I called customer service to check the status of my roof voucher, they said nothing was documented, I called Charlie on 3 way, as soon as i mentioned the roof voucher he hung up the phone. No call back or text message from him. When I called Vision Solar in May of 2022 to see what the hold up was. I was told that I was waiting on the inspection from the city and for the power company to replace my meter. I called Oncor in July of 2022 and they told me that on April 20, Solar Vision was granted permission to operate, April 22, my meter was reprogrammed, and May 3rd my meter was updated and did not require repalcement. So more lies from Vision Solar. Im still trying to get my roof voucher they promised. Everytime I call now they tell me that a manager is aware of what is going on and that they are trying to get ahold of the representative. How hard is to get a hold of someone that works for you and how hard is it for you to fulfill your agreement?

Just had to tell the salesman to "get the hell out of my house". This was after 5, 6, 7 times telling him I'm not committing to anything today. "I'm sorry but I can't give you information to review until you begin the credit process"? WHAT are you on drugs? He calls a manager to try and work me on the phone - unbelievable. I called the police in Dartmouth and they tell me Vision Solar is not registered with the town. I'm ONLY posting this so you steer clear of this crap and watch out for elderly parents or relatives too.

We had panels installed by Vision in March. They still haven't finish the installation so we can be hooked up to the grid. They have been paid and we're paying the loan without use of the system. When I call, they give me the same runaround every time. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

The vision solar company is really really really unprofessional. I start my process in November of 2021 and on March/22 they install it, but till now is not hooked up, and has not produced anything. They never come to finish the inspection and I have been calling them for more than a month, with no answer when they will schedule our inspection, they always have the same excuse, as they will reach out to us when they have the date. I'm very very disappointed with this company, I do not recommend it to anyone.

This company showed up a day late!!
The salesman proceeded to call the manager and put me on the phone….he wanted to see the other quotes
from other companies!! SCAM….

It has been very frustrating and a nightmare for us to get with these company! DO NOT THINK TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY EVER! They are very unprofessional and it has been 8 months already after the installation and we still have no connection. I have been paying monthly for something that still don’t work and the most frustrating thing is that they rarely answer the phone on customer service, or they hang up the phone after more than 15 minutes waiting on the line, another thing is that nobody on the Customer service have an answer to my questions about the status of my project. The only response they can get me is *we are still waiting for an inspection, but we don’t know when that will be scheduled* THAT IS UNBELIABABLE!
They installed the panels on 10/06/2021 and the solar system is still not operating. I am VERY ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED right now. They haven’t returned to me all the money that I have paid all this time either.

Seems a bit curious that they're the fastest growing solar company in the US. But, just wanted to say that what they do is install panels. Once installed they drag their feet getting the system inspected and turned on.They've disabled comments on any public facing web pages (unless they've just blocked me), so you can't post your complaints. Perhaps the best course of action would be to go directly to the owners/officers: Jonathan Seibert. Greg Young I. There is, btw, a FB page named Victims of Vision Solar.

Overview - They refuse to put verbal agreements on the contract and try everything in their power to hold you liable for canceling after the 3 day grace period.

On the experience:

This company sends out salesmen that spend a long time with you to try and get a contract signed same day.

They say a lot of GREAT things. Their main promise was the below:

"We guarantee you will never have to pay your utility company for electricity. If you do, we will reimburse you 100% and if it keeps happening, we will install more solar panels."

I signed and was given a 3 day grace period to cancel the agreement. After reviewing the contract, I saw NO mention of reimbursements and immediately sent a detailed email to cancel followed by a certified letter on the first available business day as stipulated by the 3-day cancellation verbiage in the contract.

After canceling, I received a call from "Quality Assurance." They beat around the bush for more than an hour. They said multiple times that they would send an email out verifying that any energy usage bills sent by the utility would be reimbursed by vision solar but absolutely refused to add it into the contract.

The whole call felt like it was an attempt to keep the contract pending just long enough that the 3-day grace period is forfeit and one owes the company 10% of the total cost.

I felt scammed. I felt like i was being lied to. I will report this to the BBB and post reviews to every site i can to warn people. Horrible Grow at Any Expense company that gives solar companies a very bad reputation.

BE CAREFUL!!! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!! I would not be giving a rating if it were not for the quality assurance person who berated me and swore at me for asking to cancel the contract. literally yelling and swearing at me for suggesting that the concierge department was not following up with me on the status of the project making excuses for why they haven't been able to do the work. We were told that they would be in contact with us throughout the process by the sales rep and the first call from the "assigned concierge". They also made multiple promises that they never kept. After 6 months of no work being completed at all not even a permit pulled, I am attempting to cancel with them. The finance company had no problem with the cancellation. But the company is saying the contract says there is a 10% cancellation fee that has to be paid within 7 days. It would seem that is their business model. Give no service until people get frustrated and bailout of their contracts to charge them the 10% fee. In my case, I never signed a contract. The salesman asked me for a code that was texted to my phone and signed my name on his phone.

Vision Solar came out and outline a plan that will save me money every month. My electric bill is replaced with a lower solar bill and my home is appreciating in value.

My experience with Vision Solar has been amazing so far. My system isn't active yet due to all the red tape the government and National Grid requires (inspections, permission documents, etc). Covid hasn't helped the process either.

The installation went smoothly, with at least 6-8 guys working in the cold for 2 days to install my 33 panels, my exterior electrical panels, and modify my interior electrical panels. All extremely professional.

The best part is the "Project Manager" that they assign to your project. Marquis is my PM, and he's been amazing. While waiting weeks for the permit process to play out, he called me weekly to let me know the progress of everything going on behind the scenes. Gave me real peace of mind! He continues to contact me regularly as we await the final steps of activating my system.

I suspect I'll be writing another review after the system is live for a few months, but so far, so great!

They will do anything to sell you a solar system, except tell you the truth. Promised $500 rebate, have not seen that, or the $1000, they were going to send me to buy half a generator, since they lied to me about having power even when my power company had problems. Do not walk, but run as far away from this company as you can.

This company made me want to rethink going solar all together. I ended up doing my research and went with another company who did a fantastic job

Well, after 5 hours of my time, $95K quote, pressured sales tactics I was researching options for financing other than theirs, maintaining contact with Brian Kish while continuing to work and my day to day life, I was contacted stating, "let's move forward already" & "hate to continue to play phone tag with you". Asked him not to contact me any further, received NINE more messages AND he began acting like a 5 year old! On top of this, I received two other quotes for 50% of the price of the quote given to me Brian Kish.
