Great value - half the price of the same frames bought elsewhere. I was worried they would be fakes but they're not and I'm delighted!

Terrible company

Terrible company, who send out poor glasses and then when you complain and return them, threaten you. Then when glasses are returned only offer a partial refund due to issues you reported on delivery.

Buy from them at your risk!

(And I did complain and you threatened me to remove my review)

Very bad service

Very bad service, doesn’t update the stock of the web pag, i ordered a prada sunglasses and then the next day received the message that wasn’t in stock and now i’m waiting for refund, whis is gonna take yp to 7 days

Despite the “free shipping” advertised…

Despite the “free shipping” advertised AND the receipt showing my final payment, I was contacted days later by the shipping agency (UPS) requiring a $60 import fee. The website needs to do a MUCH better job of informing buyers of this, as a fee of this size makes the glasses I bought the same price as if I had bought them from a local retailer. When I contacted the company about this fee, which I considered to be part of the shipping process, they directed me to a small blurb somewhere in their website that says customers incur import fees. As someone who does not make many international purchases, this is not something I’m generally on the lookout for. If a company says “no shipping” and my final payment is received, I’m not expecting the delivery people to require additional fees. This information needs to be on the purchasing page, perhaps with a check box that says the customer needs to check their country requirements. This company’s representatives have been incredibly polite, and the reason for this import fee is out of their hands, however I give a one star review because the communication needs to be more clear. Buyers shopping for discounts have to do work to ensure they’re using a reputable company, have to wait longer for their product, and why would anyone in the United States do that and take the risk of buying from a lesser known discount store if at the end of the day the cost is the same as if it was purchased from the local licensed retailer down the street?

We would like to point out that for shipments to non-EU countries, any duties and import taxes are not included and must be paid directly to the courier by the recipient. This information is provided both at checkout and in the Terms and Conditions on our website. Unfortunately, customs policies vary from country to country, and we cannot intervene in the duties requested by local authorities.

I would not recommend Vista Expert

Someone from customer care reached out today, admitting after all that there had been "a problem during shipping", and that they were processing a refund. While I'm relieved to get my money back (only after I posted this review), there was no apology for accusing me, or for the stress caused. While I may not call them a total scam now, I can't recommend shopping with them either.

Vista Expert is a total scam. I returned a pair of sunglasses using their return slip (so under their insurance not mine), and they claim the box arrived empty, suggesting I didn’t put the sunglasses inside the box. They shared what they call proofs, such as a photo of an empty box, and hear-say that their transporter confirmed the box weight was equal to empty when they got it (I was never copied in the email threads with the transporter). Their word against mine, and I know I put the sunglasses in the box, I’m not a total idiot, nor am I dishonest. I’m outraged and would advise to not trust them for a second. I tried the sunglasses in a shop before ordering them and they were a total different size despite being the exact same reference. Beware!

BUYER BEWARE— Avoid at all costs…

BUYER BEWARE— Avoid at all costs misleading returns process, no accountability or concern for even the most basic things

Having bought a pair of sunglasses for £205 that didn’t fit, I followed VistaExpert’s returns procedure, which clearly states that they will send a prepaid return label once the return is approved. I submitted the return request and followed it up several times but received nothing but the same automated message:
“Our offices are closed… don’t worry… wait for our reply which will certainly be exhaustive.”

Well, I never heard anything again.

With no label and no genuine support route, I tried to send the glasses to the UK return address they list, it turned out that Royal Mail doesn’t recognise it as valid making that route impossible. So I sent the glasses back to their Italian returns address, the glasses are now stuck in Italian customs and VistaExpert are refusing to complete the basic customs form required for release, even though the return qualifies under the Returned Goods Relief scheme.

So I’m left without the glasses, out of pocket by £225, and stuck dealing with months of correspondence dealing with the consequences of their unclear processes, lack of communication, and refusal to help. It would take just one form to resolve this but they refuse.
Avoid VistaExpert at all costs, especially if you’re ordering from outside Italy or might ever need to return something. The only thing ‘exhaustive’ about their customer service is how you will feel trying to make a return.

Our return process is very straightforward: once we receive the request, we send a confirmation email specifying that the request is under review and that you will receive an update. After the return is approved, we always provide all the necessary instructions, including:

- a prepaid label for those who wish to use our courier, or
- the correct address and instructions for those who prefer to use a different courier.

All of this information is also clearly indicated on our website.

In your case, unfortunately, you did not wait for our confirmation and sent the package independently to an incorrect address, intended exclusively for returns from Italy. This caused the shipment to be blocked at customs, a situation we cannot resolve or assume responsibility for, as it resulted from a procedural error.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience and understand your frustration. Our goal is always to provide the best possible experience. However, in this case, as our confirmation was not awaited – as clearly indicated in both the emails and the instructions on the website – the procedure was incorrect, and we are unable to intervene.

We hope this clarifies any doubts you may have and remain available for any further information.

Over a month for a refund. And they still charge You for that. You will not get a full refund!

Persol sunglasses with production or material issue

Ordered Persol sunglasses in March 2025 and after wearing them only several times, the frame of the glasses got broken besides left glass without any influence of physical force or impact. Seems to be there was a production or material defect. After contacting the client support and waiting one week for an answer they refused to regulate because it is supposedly not covered by the warranty even though it is clearly stated differently in the warranty regulations. They are even not willing to regulate on goodwill reasons. Shop is not serious at all!!
