Controlling and abusive alcoholic men
Mark (keyboards) and Mark Jessop who go to Vita Nova are allowed by management to abuse and manipulate women; raising their voice and getting angry in a rude manner telling other clients to "!F* *K off" and calling female members of the group "T!*67s." They only go here it seems to 'pick up women' or abuse any women who steps foot on the property in 'headworker' or psychologically/mentally abusive way.
Phrases that have come from Mark's mouth towards women, during Vita Nova's (supposedly safe and alcohol/drug free) workshops are "Try and rein her in" "F** !K off" and "Your a !t*6t," all towards women, and the brave men wouldn't dare criticise other men.
Management seem happy for these abusive men to continue to go to Vita Nova, and I have tried and failed twice to attend sessions. Failed; in the sense that it's better for my wellbeing and safety to protect myself from abusive, manipulating and controlling men.
To any vulnerable recovering addict or persons with mental health disorders, I'd advise you to steer well clear from these abuse cretins, ego 1 and ego 2, I used to call them, as I introduced myself to them, and they didn't introduce themselves back, or make me feel at all welcome or invited to the group. It's a sick and twisted game they play of control and power, to my male friend who also attended a session I said "I can't believe they wouldn't listen to you, or me, and take any thoughts and ideas away from us."
If you are vulnerable, please stay away from this organisation, you deserve better than to be told to "F**!K off" during a session, ignored, and poked fun at.
