Would NOT recommend this site to anyone looking for a trustworthy professional shopping experience. I recently placed an order on the 15th of December and the next day said my order was shipped, was given a tracking code that hasn't received any updates and the company has not responded. Could be a scam but do not expect a refund on anything that was purchased with a deal or discount as this is how they steal your money.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Vitashop, and I feel compelled to share my concerns so that others can make informed decisions before shopping here.

After placing an order worth $112.42 I was only notified of a stock issue after completing the purchase. This is a clear sign of poor inventory management and a lack of transparency. Instead of proactively reaching out with a fair resolution, I was forced to engage in back-and-forth negotiations to simply receive what I had paid for.

Their response to the situation was highly unprofessional. Rather than taking full accountability for their mistake, they offered a discount coupon instead of an appropriate resolution. A responsible business would have ensured a satisfied customer rather than trying to profit further from their own error.

The lack of customer care is evident in their refusal to provide meaningful compensation despite the inconvenience they caused. If a company truly values its customers, they would act accordingly—Vitashop, unfortunately, did not.

Based on this experience, I will not be shopping here again, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone looking for a reliable and professional online shopping experience. If you expect transparency, accountability, and proper customer service, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Vitashop always has great deals and promotions. Have been shopping with them since 2013 and keep coming back.

It's a local store I always visit! Friendly staff and affordable prices. Recommend double checking if the item you want is in stock before you go!

Bought 2 items from them just to get a call 6 days later that they don’t have one of the items in stock…. Offered to “upgrade” one of the items for a similar product that was double the price but I would have to pay the difference with 10% off..
Minutes later, get another call that the only other item I bought is also not in stock…
Now I wait for a refund of my whole order… Let’s see how that goes 🙄

They used to be very fast & had the supply. On 2 recent orders they had not actioned (no ‘getting your order ready‘, making a shipping label, shipment on the way - nothing) at all until I enquired *5 days* after placing an order. Also, they should notify a customer when a product is out of of stock PRIOR to shipping - not when a customer receives their package. This leaves them searching for a new source, placing an order & waiting an additional 10 days when they’ve been expecting & relying on Vitashop.ca the entire time. Communication is key.

I have found that VitaShop.ca is a great place to shop for vitamins, supplements, and health products in Canada. Their service is excellent and they have an amazing selection of nationally recognized brand name products with the best prices I've found anywhere. Prices are far less than retail health store prices and are even lower than a company I used to order from in Victoria, British Columbia, who claimed they had the best prices. An added benefit for those who, for some reason, can't pay for orders online, or for those who simply don't want to pay online, is that VitaShop gladly accepts payment by cheque or money order. Simply print out the order invoice, enclose payment, and mail it to VitaShop in Toronto (details are on their website). I have done this and, within 3 days VitaShop had received and processed my payment and shipped my order out, which I received two days later. All-in-all I am very pleased with VitaShop.ca and will continue to order from them. Definitely a company that can be trusted.
