A scam

Friends bought my husband and me a Vivabox hotel/gourmand experience as a wedding present in 2022. Since then, each year I have spent hours trying to book a few days at one of their hotels with no success. As soon as Vivabox is mentioned, the hotel is suddenly full or even closed. I have complained to Vivabox to no effect. During the 3 years I have had the Vivabox I must have tried 20 different establishments over a wide range of dates, but the response is always the same. My friends, husband and I are extremely disappointed at the waste of money and time Vivabox has caused us. There appears to be no mechanism for redress but any advice would be welcome. Vivabox seems to have been taken over by Wonderbox but I would think the same problems will arise. In my opinion, the whole setup is a scam. Follow-up: I have been invited to edit my review after noting the response from the sellers. I will not change a word. They have suddenly become helpful and reasonable! Too little, too late, though. If only they had offered to help in this way after my previous communications with them, which either went unanswered or offered no help at all.

Many hotels allocate only a limited number of rooms per date to each partner program. Once those are taken, the hotel may still show availability on its own channels and partner channels.
We therefore recommend requesting well in advance and providing 2–3 alternative dates.

Terrible customer service and not easy to use the service

No clear explanation how to use the services, terrible website interface and worst customer servive EVER! Employee were rude and had 0 patient to explain how to use the service, she had no knowledge or idea or whatsoever she was talking about, not listening to me, not letting me speak, just horrible

It seems to be a scam

It seems to be a scam. Watch out!!!

Maybe there were reliable company before but now it looks like they make it possible to buy those gift packages (online or at the store) but then indeed it is not possible to select any of those gifts. They claim the issue is due to IT/Upgrade which happened in September. We are in end of October and the issue persists... I work with IT and I know that the issues which are critical for your business are getting resolved in hours/days and not in weeks or months.

Now concrete stuff:
- when I try to select the gift - drill down on the link - the pop up instead of showing the gift details it shows empty page
- when trying to filter for the gifts in the location, the filter is not selectable, hence: not possible to even narrow down the search (both: mobile and from PC - tried multiple browsers)
Those look like small issues but make it impossible to claim your gift...which means: they make a lot of money on purchase of the gift box but never have to give back this money to restaurants, spas, etc.
WATCH OUT!!!!!!!
