Salesman vs Technician?
I was told the sensors on my doors would be in the door and the patio doors would be stick on. We also decided what doors to put them on. The technician put stick on on all doors and put one on a door that is not even functioning instead of thr one we decided. The stick one just do not look very nice and I would rather have the sensor in the door. Also decided with the salesperson to have the wall mounted monitor and the technician said that where we were putting it was too close to the thermostat. Seemed like the countertop one was easier and what he preferred. Not sure about 2nd camera that is on the garage. It doesnt seem to be aimed at much?
Horrible start to finish.
I told the pushy lady I didn’t want him to start that night because we get up at 4 and go to bed at 6 or 7. Before anything else could be said he was drilling in our walls. She said 1/2 hr tops. It was almost 4 and we didn’t get to bed till 10. He said 1:00 for the 2nd day, sent txt 2-4:00 showed up later than that. Left trash lay everywhere. We had to pick it up inside and out and all around the house. Ridiculous. He left without saying anything and we still weren’t on line. We have no idea what we have. I just hope there’s no alarms when we leave for work as we won’t know how to fix it. This has been the worst business decision we have ever made. I truly want a complete return/refund. Horrible experience from the pushy rude salesperson to the lazy worker who left trash everywhere and didn’t bother telling us he was leaving or to make sure we knew what we had. Piss poor start to finish. I’m embarrassed to have that sign in our yard. And u need to hope no one asks me about Vivint. I definitely won’t encourage a sale THAT you can bank on.

The installer Anthony, was unprofessional, damaged my home, installed cameras in wrong spot, lied about revisiting to make repairs. Called his manager Kooper, left a message a week ago, and no response. Tried to cancel my service (with an extended 30 trial) and was told if I did, that I wouldn't get a refund and that they will take everything except the $800.00 display. I paid for all equipment up front and none of it had worked as displayed on their tablet. I have 5g fiber and using another camera system with no issues. Terrible experience

DO NOT USE THEM , THER PROGRAMMABLE THURMOSTAT IS NOT WORKING AND THEIR SERVICES TECHNICIAN NOT EVEN FIX IT. I got their free services through my electricity provider Reliant Energy, I changed my provider and removed the vivint programmable thermostat as it never worked correctly. Temperatures do not change as set. After I left Reliant, I realized they start to charge me for service, So I call them and talked to an agent , the agent agreed to waived the charge involved. 6 month later I recived an inovice and I learned my account is not chancelled, the previous agent , just waived the previous charge and applied a 6 month at 14.99 deal. I just talked to their agent today 6/23/26. I found taht their account needed to be cancelled one month in advance. The worse thing is you can hardly understand thier foreign agent that caused me to say yes for the 6 month promotion.THEY TRIED TO TRICK YOU TO PAYTHEM SERVICES CHARGE EVEN YOU DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE AND IT IS REQUIRED TO CANCEL THEIR SERVICES ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE. THE LAST NOT THE LEAST, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET A PROPER AGENT TO ASSIST YOU.

For one I was trying to get help to connect my phone to the server to the connector box and also I was trying to upgrade my equipment. However, the signal was horrible. I couldn’t hear anything so I just had to hang up.

Everything about Vivint sucks from the customer service, the sales, the installation technicians, the loyalty department and the policies. Even the prices for the cheap crap that you sell is preposterous and of a scamming nature. I hope that your business folds under the weight of class action lawsuits.

Salesman was knowledgeable and answered every question I had. The installation was quick and he explained each piece of equipment and demonstrated how to use it. The app has been easy to use, and the periodic emails have been a wealth of information.

Chase was amazing at installation & customer service. Was fast, told us everything he did, explained how to work the doorbell camera & also followed up afterwards. He deserves a raise 👏
