AVOID AVOID AVOID

If I could leave a ZERO for Vodafone I would. I paid €12 for a pre-paid SIM from a kiosk retailer in Athens. Vodafone activated my SIM and there was NO MONEY added in my account. None. A Vodafone representative could not answer me when I asked how the hell they could find my father's full name by accessing my passport, but they couldn't find where €12 went. On all systems of Vodafone it said the same thing, but they kept referring me to the seller. The seller refuses to refund my money to me, and says go see Vodafone. So somebody has stolen my money, and no one is taking any responsibility. Consumer protection is not very strong here, so DO NOT do business with this company. Both Greeks and foreigners have complained about rip-offs and then poor service from Vodafone, so avoid. I will say that I bought a pre-paid SIM in Japan for 3 weeks and had ZERO bloody issues. Not like this nightmare from a supposedly trustworthy European company. AVOID.

This company is a SCAM. DON'T TRUST THEM

I got a vodafone internet subscription last april and haven't had ONE SINGLE DAY of internet ever since.
I'm calling everyday to complain and get them to fix but so far the only thing they say is "restart your router" like i was born in 1750 and i didn't think of that already. I have to restart AT LEAST 30 times a day only to get 2 mgbps of internet when im paying for 100. Do yourself a favor and NEVER GET VODAFONE. It's too bad i don't have enough money to get them into court cause some form of revenge would be amazing right now.

This is an actual FRAUD

This is an actual FRAUD. It stops working anytime and you would have no access to them if it’s a weekend or after hours. Zero customer service. Buying sim card from kiosks and super markets is much more reliable.

This company employees are rude and…

This company employees are rude and inconsiderate to a customers need. I've been in the store locations over 11 times with many issues. From no internet on my phone to installion for my landline and internet installion in my home. They just keep referring to call 13830. I dont think they understand how to run a business properly at all. And employees just don't care. It doesn't make sense they want foreigners to come and invest in their country. But yet treat us like crap. I've lived all over and besides Denmark I think this is the worst place to live. They have no respect. They just want our money and thats it.

Frustrating experience

I paid for a SIM card.

It did not work, could not open any webpage. It was stuck, I rebooted my iPad, nothing.

The store where you purchased could not help, they ask me to call a central number 13830.

An answering machine made me aware that after the first minute, I will be charged 25c/min. Then the message continues for about 2min giving irrelevant information. Then it asked for data, number, etc. Then it said that I had to wait for 20'-30' and started playing stupid music. I could not wait for 30' and pay the cost of the SIM card one more time over.

I gave up. I tried again. This time it said that the wait is 45' and that they will call back. It looked like an improvement. They called back in about 30', more waiting and music until 4-5' later someone showed up. The person who answered had no idea what the problem was, and said that a technician will call back. Another 15' wait. The technician called, more music until he actually answered, then he reset the line, and now it seems to work. Initially at low 3G speeds 3-5mbits/sec., but after 15', the bandwidth somehow increased to 5G, with acceptable 20-30mbits/sec.

Btw, the line was cut before I completed my discussion with the representative, and before I could ask how to activate hotspot. (Somehow vf blocks it and wants you to talk to a representative to activate.) I called again, gotten through this whole mess of listening to irrelevant messages, and when I was finally talking again to a representative, our line was cut off again.

More that 2h later I give up.

Very rude customer phone service agent

We had been just called by the Vodafone's customer service as they wanted to offer an upgrade of the already existing contact - internet, phone, TV.
When we had some questions and it seemed that the "service" agent could not answer them, he just disconnected the line.
What kind of customer service is that?

Watch it, they cheat on you!

We bought a SIM-card with 11GB prepaid internet for 12€ at the Ierapetra vodaphone shop on April 19, 2022, valid 30 days.
We only used it for WhatsApp and to check our mails (no streaming or similar).
For 10 days it worked fine, then it collapsed.
I mailed to the vodaphone shop and asked what happened and they replied "unfortunately you have run out of mbs! You should recharge with an other 12€ for 11GB!".
I mailed back and said "this cannot be" and said
I would be happy if they could tell me
- how many days after the purchase the 11GB were supposedly all used up
- and if there is any record of which sites or activities consumed several GB at once.

I never got any answer.

Brief: They can cheat on you, force you to reload, you have no chance to prove that. Hands off vodaphone SIM!

Terrible Internet connection and Terrible customer service

Their wifi connection is the worst I experienced, drops everyday 10 times and I'm living in city centre! Called their support 4 5 times, they always give poor service and NOTHING resolved, they say they will call but they don't. I wanted to cancel it but you need to pay huge amount. I ASKED if its possible to froze the internet at least 3 months or more, they don't even have the option even though when THEY'RE SELLING the internet they said they have. Never suggest using it.

vodafone is stealing balance and participating in a scam with third party applications! On i phone i use only as wifi hotspot they charged me 9€ for some games i did not play or registered.(i never play any games). Beware people!

FRAUDULENT service

FRAUDULENT service.

Over a year ago their CS called me and proposed me to sign a contract. The only offer that triggered me was that by the end of the contract, I could use the refund to purchase a new cell phone.
They tricked me in order to make me sign a contract. By the end of the contract they are not responsible of what they promised. They are just offering me a new contract.

Stay away

Stay away from this company, they bills are high, costumer service does not communicate with the people that come to set up or fix connection problems, there are way too many downtimes and lag spikes even with a fiber connection.

25 Mbs not 100Mbs

I am paying for 100Mbs and getting on average 25 Mbs. It looks like it is being throttled down on purpose. Absolutely unworkable for a IT professional.

I don't know if there is a better provider in Greece, but this service is crap.
