The host immediately sent me a welcoming message. The only rough experience was the site where I was putting my billing address at first wouldn't accept my postal code. I resent being told my zip code is invalid. I could understand more if the property were American but it's in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Please change that part to postal code for us, or at least postal/zip code. Very frustrating. Not the fault of host, obviously.

I’m booked, I think, but because I used a different email address I am unable to read host messages, reply, and the booking doesn’t show up in the app. I’ve tried to change the email address but am put into an endless loop asking for a security code from the old address.

App locked me out of my reservation
I started th ereservation process from the on-line portal. I was communicating with the host, via clicking to the email links. The site kept encouraging me to use the app. I installed the app and it said i was locked out and to contact customer service. There was no link to do so in th emessage. I tried connecting with customer support on-line. no real person was reachable and now my communication with the host and my reservation was inaccessable. The App locked me out of everything. Wasn't super clear that you had to pay up front. Love that there's a free cancellation period. It's not always easy to coordinate accommodation, flights, etc so being locked into something when you book is inconvenient.

Buyer bewrae
The first inquiry I sent the host a message and did not get a reply. The second inquiry I applied for the booking. The acceptance came bask with added charges in another name than the host. The third inquiry I booked. The whole trip was put onto my credit card immediately, instead of spread out over a few weeks.

Not entirely happy
For 2 reasons .... first the cost of the rental went up $900.00 after a day of considering .
Second the website stated that my Credit Card would not be charged right away and lo and behold what happened ... my credit card was charged right away jeopardizing another major transaction pending on my Credit Card.
So to say I'm not happy is an understatement
