Fantastic shopping experience

I discovered this wallpaper shop whilst looking online for some wallpaper for my staircase. I couldn’t believe that they stocked the exact wallpaper that I have been searching for. I also was surprised by the very reasonable price that they were selling it for. Most other retailers were selling it for a much higher price. The wallpaper that I purchased arrived at my home in just 24 hours. The quality of the wallpaper is excellent and the whole shopping experience I had was fantastic. I really recommend the Wallpaper shop for providing such excellent service.

Poor Quality Papers - Reverse Rolled

Selling wallpaper that is reverse rolled. Underhand not stating this or advising till you unwrap the roll, and your decorator finds out at the point they are about to hang. Then you find a tiny disclaimer on tge reverse of the roll, telling you its likely to be ‘poor quality’ and they take NO RESPONSIBILITY!

I would steer away from purchasing anything from this store!

We’d like to reassure you that the wallpaper itself was not faulty or printed incorrectly. The reason it appeared upside down when unrolled is because it was supplied reverse rolled, which is a method used by many manufacturers during production. This simply means the wallpaper is rolled in the opposite direction, so when first opened the design can appear inverted. Once turned and allowed to relax, it hangs in the correct orientation.

Reverse rolling is an industry-accepted practice and is often used to help protect the printed surface during manufacture and transport. It is not an indication of poor quality.

That said, we completely understand how unexpected and confusing this would have been if you were not aware of this in advance, and we’re sorry that this wasn’t made clearer before opening the roll. Your feedback is genuinely appreciated and will be used to improve how we communicate this information to customers going forward.

I do not recommend terrible service and rude staff I paid 7.99 for fast shipping and the seller chose the cheapest courier Evri this is a scam my order still hasn't been shipped another courier would deliver the shipment next day! Be careful, I do not recommend this store.

I had an amazing experience with this…

I always have an amazing experience with this wallpaper shop. The staff are incredibly friendly, the delivery was super fast, and when I had a small issue, they solved it immediately. The quality of their products is excellent, and Charlotte and Nykita are truly amazing. Highly recommended!

Shocking customer service!!

Shocking customer service!!! I ordered 4 rolls of wallpaper and when it arrived there was only 3 and the parcel was drenched, as if dumped in a puddle, then rebagged and labelled. I contacted customer service and found the very rude, Charlotte, who after 5 emails back and forth has not once apologised or even acknowledged fault. Even when I explained that the wallpaper may be ruined due to the fact it’s sodden, Charlotte assumed it was Evris fault and offered no solutions or refund. DO NOT USE!!!

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered 6 rolls of wallpaper and painter realised there wouldn't be enough so ordered 2 more on 9 October, only delivered today 21 October. Painter was finishing on 17 October so had to get them from an alternative source. The wallpaper shop don't do return labels etc. and I have to return them at my own expense. I would avoid using this company, loads of better, more reliable, more customer focused alternatives on-line.

Envy Stitch Please falling off wall

Ordered two rolls of Envy stitch please in hot pink. Was told it was out of stock and would be a few weeks. I said I would wait. Then it arrived in the next few days. I was putting this on my chimney breast and a different paper from a different manufacturer on the walls beside the chimney breast. I had two decorators with 20+ years experience each put this up. They pasted the wall but the paste soaked through this paper and it fell off. The same paste was used for the paper from the different manufacturer and there were no issues with it. I thought maybe there was a quality issue with the paper, having been advised that it was not in stock. I contacted the Wallpaper Shop who stated that too much paste must have been used. I pointed out that the other paper was hung with no issues with the same amount of paste on the same day and there is no guidance about how much paste to use. They then said the paste was either too thin or too watery and to use ready mixed paste. Surely there is something wrong with the paper. My decorators are experienced and hung the other wallpaper on the same day with no issues. Very unhappy.

I have looked into this issue and first of all I can see that we contacted the supplier in regards to the paper itself to see if there was a fault or defect with this paper.

The supplier did come back to us and explain it was a hanging issue.

Please see the below:

After reviewing the images and the customer’s feedback, here are some possible reasons for the issue:

The paste may have been too thin or watery – using a ready-mixed adhesive could help.
The surface condition – cross-lining the walls prior to hanging could help the wallpaper adhere to the wall

Fantastic experience with the wallpaper…

Fantastic experience with the wallpaper shop, the customer service is excellent. Wallpaper was lovely and great quality but unfortunately it did not match the colour scheme in the end as I changed my minda on what paint to use. Customer service always replied to all emails quickly and helped me to return the paper & issued a refund no questions asked even though i sent the paper back around a month after purchase.

I will use this company again for future decorating projects.

Wonderful Service

I had never heard of the company before, but was impressed with the service and especially Charlotte for her excellent customer service. Ordering was clear and was delivered within 24 hours well packed.
The wallpaper is of excellent wonderful quality.
My kitchen will look amazing one I have decorated.

I have ordered numerous samples for wallpaper, had no chance to even wait, it was on my doorstep within 48h. I came back for actual rolls and these arrived within 48h. Well packaged, wrapped and just great prices!! Spoke via email with customer service too, and they were wonderful and helpful, shout out to Nykita!!

Great After sales

I have been using Wallpapershop for the last 18 months and found everything about the company first class. They offer s great selection online, with a user friendly website. For me it is the after-sales that is so impressive; on contacting by telephone, the response is swift with no annoying options or waiting. Most of my queries have been dealt with Charlotte, who is so helpful; she really does go the extra mile which is so unusual by today's standards.Charlotte would be an asset to any company or organisation.

Don't buy from this company, you return goods and they don't refund.

I ordered two rolls of a wallpaper which sadly arrived looking nothing like advertised so I returned it via same delivery company Evri using a return label about two weeks ago. I keep emailing them asking for refund, they must have received it within 48 hours but they keep saying they have not. The label was tracked and they have received it indeed. You are an awful and shameless company! I will file a complaint with the consumer protection agency.

Addendum: the company is not telling the truth. I created the return label via the delivery company EVRI which they used for the delivery. That's the way everyone returns goods. When I emailed them the picture of the label after posting the goods back to them, they advised me to send it to a different address. Well, too late, you should have not provided me with a wrong label. I emailed you twice in two weeks asking politely if you have received it until your rude customer service representative sent me an abrupt email that my refund will not be issued unless it's delivered to their address. No more info was provided so excuse me for trying to get my money back!!! God knows how many people you have deceived like this. Already reported you for fraudulent activity.

We would like to clarify that, as previously communicated on several occasions, the order has not been returned to us. The customer initially reached out expressing their intention to return the item, and we provided the correct returns address. However, the item sent to a different location, a third-party shipping provider we use, rather than the address we provided.

As a result, we are currently waiting for the third-party provider to return the item to us, which typically takes several weeks. We have reiterated on multiple occasions that the address used for the return is not our designated returns address, and therefore, we have not yet received the order.

Despite this, the customer has been sending repeated threats while disregarding the fact that the item was returned to an incorrect address, one that we never provided. We will issue a refund to the customer once the parcel has been returned back to ourself.

Ordered online, with normal delivery and received my wallpaper in 2 days.
Lovely quality wallpaper that looks better in reality than in the picture.

Great customer service

I placed an order with the wallpaper shop on a Sunday evening and was very impressed that this arrived less than 48 hours later. Upon opening I realised that I had been sent a different wallpaper, so emailed their support desk and received an almost instant response advising me that they apologise and have sent out the correct order to me. Also told me to keep/dispose of the wrong roll of wallpaper meaning I didn’t have the hassle of having to sort the returns for this. Less than 24 hours after I reported the mistake, I had received the correct order. Very please with their delivery times and communication and would not hesitate to use them again in the future

Scam!

This company don't even deserve one star!
I ordered my wallpaper on 9/11/24 and it still hasn't arrived on 22/11/24. I have emailed the company 3 times and they promise to look into this but then I get no further response. I have asked for a refund and they said no! I will now have to get in touch with my bank and report this as a scam. I would not go near this company again.
