There's not an AI capability period. I've used app's from 15 years ago that are way better. Nothing useful. Doesnt recognize any of the travel reservations we had to eventually just print to a .pdf.... See more

Great app for consolidating all travel…

Great app for consolidating all travel plans. I have planned trips for our family of 6 for the past 40 years. This is the answer to all my travel planning needs! I have used the app over the last 2 weeks to plan 3 international trips. Just ran into a couple of small bugs when trying to access recommended itineraries, but that is to be expected with an app that is so feature rich. Having reservations from Airbnb, booking.com, bookabach and various airlines all in one place is a godsend. And the share feature is greatly appreciated by all my family members. The ability to add your own notes is a big plus. Highly recommend.

Worked for me

I uses the paid app in conjunction with a pre planned 17 day American road trip. Once I was familiar with the app I found it a great tool. All my itinerary in one place was useful. Used the budget to keep an eye on costs, the optimised routes put all the places I wanted to visit in time order from our hotels. I was able to put in suggested stop offs which worked well.

Incredibly clunky app

Incredibly clunky app that could neither suggest nor add en route destinations to my trip. I got tired of Googling en route destinations and manually adding them to my trip. Not simple or intuitive in any way.

Waste of time App

At first glance seems like a cool app yet beware very limited use and sharing capability. I bought the pro package to access more functionality and it’s really not worth the $40 a yr. They need more work done on this app before they scale it more. You can’t print your itinerary, you can’t download to word, excel or similar tools. The ONLY thing you can do is download your itinerary to use in the app. I created a trip for 7 friends and they all don’t want to log in the app to see what our daily plan looks like. I have to recreate a second itinerary (retyping everything) outside the app. Very frustrating. Now let’s talk about their communication process/ help staff. It’s a BOT that rarely gets you to any human to answer any questions even if a pro customer, and maybe you’ll get a short email response later saying not much! It’s a waste of time to use this app.

Good concept, bad implementation

Wanderlog is an app that provides a lot of great features. Great general overview, suggestions and much more.
The issue starts once you want to do it more thoroughly. I like to say, that Wanderlog is for those pepople that plan to plan a trip, yet don't either. Its good if you want "basic" stuff with many fancy graphics and whatever. But that's also the issue. The more detailed stuff like attaching documents, offline function,.... the stuff you actually need, is locked behind a paywall and that paywall is ridiculous. They only offer a 50 USD / Yearly plan. No monthly or whatsoever. That price would have been justified for a lifetime license maybe but not with all the bugs it has. Synchronisation issues, tons of bugs especially working with it on mobile, is so bad that I would have uninstalled it right away if I tested it there first instead of desktop.

In the end it's a great concept but really horrible implementation with lots of issues.

Wanderlog is Disaster

Wanderlog is the epitome of frustration. The app is riddled with bugs, the design is a disaster, and it feels like they're more interested in ripping off users than providing a functional experience. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this app.

Perfect for my trip to Japan

I used this earlier in the year to plan a 3 week trip to Japan. It made things so easy, and I share my Wanderlog itinerary to friends and family to see how I planned my trip.
When I had a technical issue with it connecting to maps, the tech team responded to my query quickly and easily. I paid for a 1 year subscription and have used it frequently.

WORST EVER! Read this first!

AVOID!!

Here is the feedback I posted to Wanderlog directly, as I canceled my free 1 week trial:

This is the worst platform, EVER. Tons of pop-ups which obviously give you revenue, but annoy the **** out of your users. Map is small. User interface is clunky and not intuitive. More pop-ups like crazy. After making a list, no way to optimize the drive unless I add it to a particular day. Why can't it get my entire list and optimize it over several days, automatically? CANCELLATION of free trial is also a nightmare. Made to confuse people unnecessarily and make them fail. "Unsubscribe" is NOT the correct way to offer "CANCEL PRO MEMBERSHIP." This company is obviously VERY clueless, OR scammers. I think scammers, because the platform is too built and developed for them to be dumb. I am posting negative reviews for this horrible site with as many places/people as I can. Good bye and good riddance.

Feeling scammed by Wanderlog

I booked a room at the Adelaide Road Motor Lodge and, when I rang to confirm, I found out that they had not authorised the deal I got fromWanderlog. I was asked to cancel the booking and book directly through them. They informed me that they have contacted Wanderlog and I am entitled to a refund from them, as it was unauthorised and I am not at fault. The money was still taken from my account and my messages to the so-called founder of Wanderlog have been ignored.

Lost everything I planned

Lost everything I planned because of a technical issue with the app. Wrote an email to their support and it bounced back. Will now look for an app that actually has support.

Poorly researched, just bad travel advice.

They literally just take all their information off Google or top-ranking blog posts, including my own. Nothing is researched or validated on their part. This is a really cheap attempt at a travel planning website. Don't take their (bad) advice.

Trip to Bandhipur

Trip to Bandhipur was one to remember for long. The stay at Jungle Lodge Resort was very good. The sprawling lawns with very nice interiors to have a good view from inside out and room service also was also to laud about. Timely service and few places where it requires strolling like restaurants within the premise. They have golgar restaurant within their place and the food was decent. Not very spicy and had North Indian, South Indian and Icecreams. They have more than one restaurant to their line but we went only this. Less than 5kms the resort is surrounded by hills where the forest entry needs permission to make a visit to the forestry gate nearby by our jeep drivers before we enter the forest and we could spot countless number of dèer and bisons, elephants and a few tigers(in our sight we had only one to spot) although it lies with the sheer luck whether we spot more. A good number of peacoks and peahens also a delight to watch. There is also BR hills including betty Govindaswamy temple near chamarajnagar just 20 mins drive to reach bandhipur.Overall, very nice getaway for ppl who live by Bangalore or mysore. Definitely suitable for sight seeiñg of all ages.

Balanced, useful tool.

Adding a five-star review because the rating here on Trustpilot isn’t consistent with my app experience. Sure, the program can sometimes be buggy and provide misleading information regarding travel times between destinations, but the core function of this app as a trip planning tool was very useful to my wife and I as we planned a three-month sabbatical. I appreciated the ability to invite other viewers to observe our plans and collaborate with others to plan the trip from any device.

Our experience, overall, rates about 4/5.
