Avoid Waste Managed at all costs. From the very beginning of our contract, they failed to provide any service whatsoever for the first TWO MONTHS. I was forced to call them almost every other day just to get them to collect our waste, wasting hours of my time and business revenue. They never reimbursed us for this stressful and costly onboarding process.
Even after that, missed collections continued to happen from time to time. Now that we want to part ways because they cannot deliver the service we pay for, they are trying to hit us with an extortionate £700 "determination charge" to lock us in until 2028.
This company is in material breach of contract. A service this poor is not worth £700. We are an active independent business in Falmouth and network closely with many other local companies. We will make it our absolute priority to ensure that NO new business in Falmouth is ever recommended Waste Managed.
We expect their management to contact us immediately, waive this ridiculous fee, and close our account.

Avoid this company at all costs – they are simply brokers. Issue after issue.
We recently moved offices and provided our new address well in advance. Despite this, the company continued sending the collection team to our old premises because, according to them, it takes time to pass the updated address on to the contractor carrying out the collections.
Even when the collection team eventually came to the correct address, they were unwilling to call if they couldn't immediately locate us. Instead, they simply left without completing the collection.
Then we had 13 bags of clinical waste in our office after three failed collection attempts. Each time, we were assured the waste would be collected that day, but the promised collections never happened.
The most frustrating part is that they cannot communicate directly with the companies carrying out the collections on their behalf, leaving them unable to resolve issues effectively or provide accurate updates.
Their only solution was to offer to switch us to another contractor rather than fixing the underlying problem. This is completely unacceptable when dealing with clinical waste, where reliability, compliance, and timely collections are essential.
I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a dependable clinical waste collection service.

we was having a terrible experience with another waste provider, so i starting ringing around for a new provider and thats when I spoke with David for a quote not only did he provide a reasonable quote he also helped me with the old suppliers, he gave great advice and then waited patiently until after i had managed to settle the agreement. so far he's very responsive to any emails or calls, now hopefully i dont have to think about bins again

This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a company bar none. I am an acupuncturist and run a clinic in Camberwell. I was told that I would receive notifications for pick up of the clinical waste. I never received any notifications which meant that I never knew when to put the bins out for collection. It is a health and safety issue to have them in public spaces so they need to be kept in my clinic room until pick up. The drivers would come to the building and no one would contact me. Even if I was on site, they just left a note saying they'd been and gone whilst never picking up the bins. After explaining this situation, Waste Managed said there was nothing they could do even after they had already promised I would receive notifications and they can in fact do that, because I did receive one notification for the very first pick up. It has been an entire year where my bins haven't been picked up. A whole year! I have continued to pay for the service and only recently cancelled my direct debit with them because they refuse to cooperate, take responsibility and to date have ignored many emails and are impossible to reason with on the phone. I am at my wits end with this. I've never experienced anything like this in my life. A company so painfully incompetent and still expecting me to pay for a service that I have never received. It's caused me an immense amount of stress. And I pray that no one ever has to endure what I have gone through with them this year. I don't leave bad reviews, but they have ignored my emails and refused to take responsibility for the very simple task of organising the clinical waste collection. So this one is for the one person who should choose someone else. Go direct to the companies (like PHS or Initial), DO NOT go through a third party company. They are scammers, liars and incompetents. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I would avoid using this organisation. Out of almost a month's worth of collections, totalling 12 collections. Only 1 was completed on time. Following numerous phone calls, to be told "I will phone you back", "We have arranged for a complete site clearance" to not receive any calls and to find out I was lied to. They expect you to hold 4 weeks of waste on site while they arrange alternative collections. Totally inadequate service. When you ask for a refund or say that you are considering cancelling your contract, they then say "we won't arrange for the site clearance to be arranged".
