This is my second purchase from Watches of Whitby and I’ve had another great experience. The team are really friendly and easy to talk to, which makes a big difference when you’re buying a watch. They’re always happy to answer questions and you can tell they genuinely know what they’re talking about.

Everything felt professional from start to finish, and the whole process was smooth and straightforward. Delivery was also very quick, which was a nice bonus.

I’d happily recommend them to anyone, whether you’re buying your first luxury watch or adding another to your collection. A very easy and enjoyable experience all round.

Its very rare in this day and age, I find, to have a perfect service from end to end of any purchase. Watches of Whitby pretty nailed the service of buying a high end watch and I really can't complain about anything at all it has been a complete delight and I will definitely order from them again. They went over and above to help us with an issue we had with a ring we had bought - after having it inspected by the supplier and a third party they addressed the problem by replacing the ring without any charge. Presumably they had identified a quality issue and rather than push us to pay for a repair they must have stood their ground with a supplier on our behalf. This was a fantastic outcome especially given that the ring was out of warranty - technically we assume that they didn't have to do that for us - but they did.

Why has it taken me so long to write a review?......I've bought numerous watches from Watches of Whitby over the years from outright sales to part exchanges to others. I found them on Instagram and it went from there. Great advise/service from the owners and staff and attention to detail with supplying all the little extra bits that collectors look for example tags sent in own little branded pouches not just thrown in the box by the side of you expensive watch free to dance around on the way home☝️... Take note this is how watches should be presented and when buying online ( which I had never done before and was nervous about to be honest) from them this makes all the difference. Family owned and run and it shows. 👏👏👏

Don’t like how I’ve spent literally thousands of pounds on £25 pound tickets on raffles and now they’ve decided to be greedy and make the tickets cheaper and the odds even harder what a joke and waste of money .. pointless now

From my first friendly enquiry with Mel, laying down a deposit, to the actual experience the next day purchasing the watch from Heather & Max, the service at WOW is very friendly.

My husband is delighted with his 50th Birthday present, and I have a feeling we will be back next year when it's my 50th.

I've been buying, part exchanging and selling to Watches of Whitby over the last few years and have always had a great experience. Their watches are absolutely pristine and very fairly priced. The guys in the shop are so friendly, yet professional and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending WOW if you are considering buying a luxury timepiece.

I have to award 5 stars. Every correspondence and competition has been top notch. They are legitimate and clearly know about watches. I look forward to taking a trip to their store when I'm next in the market for a watch.

What can I say to measure how pleased the service was from WoW. From the initial call to receiving my Rolex was first class. Not only was the price amazing but the watch was better than I’d expected. First time purchase from WofW. Saw the watch I wanted online at a competitive price, called in on spec on a Saturday morning. Small shop, watches and jewellery are nicely presented. The watch was exactly as described, in excellent condition having just had a comprehensive manufacturers service. I took a watch I already own as potential part-ex, although purchase was not dependent on it. We popped out for some breakfast whilst they assessed the watch for condition and they came back to us within the hour. Although they declined the part-ex due to a small mark on the watch glass that was not visible to the naked eye (and so was unknown to me), only visible at high magnification, this did reassure me about the high standards they apply to the watches they sell and gave me further confidence in the watch I purchased. All in all a good experience and would definitely recommend WofW to anyone looking for a high quality pre-owned watch in tip top condition. Only one niggle, the coffee wasn’t great but it was nice to be offered one 😊
