I am a seamstress with little knowledge…

I am a seamstress with little knowledge of African wax so I found this information invaluable and enlightening. I wish it had given a tip on recognising the right/wrong side of material once cut as I made a terrible error of putting the pieces aside and not knowing. I have been commissioned to make various garments with this beautiful material and the knowledge I now have is very helpful. Thank you.

Beautiful inside and out

The subscription box has been a great source of learning, knowledge, fabric and all general broadening of my sewing mind.

Just the box itself is beautiful and the choices of projects and fabric are simply fantastic

A Subscription Box for African Fabrics

All of the boxes I have received were well put together with well written pattern instructions. She also has a YouTube channel as well if you need more in depth information. It’s the real deal for great African fabrics and a history lesson on the side. Jacqueline is a find.

Wonderful box and value for money

All my experience with works and the wraps has been positive. The boxes that are delivered monthly are always high quality and the customer service is excellent. The facebook group is also great help.

I joined the Wax + Wraps subscription…

I joined the Wax + Wraps subscription box last year. I am impressed with every monthly box. The contents in the box are packaged neatly with a cute little checklist attached. The fabric is authentic and beautiful. If you don't have a idea what to make with the fabric, there is everything you need to make the suggested idea they give you (thread, elastic, buttons, etc). My absolute favorite thing about Jacqueline Brown and Wax+Wraps is that She is accessible. I feel like I have made a friend. You can tell she is passionate about her business and Africa. I look forward to learning about Sourcing with her and her many workshops. I would recommend this business to anyone who is a sewer professional or beginner!!💝

Trying to figure out why it’s only 3.7…

Trying to figure out why it’s only 3.7 stars. The materials are hand made from small entrepreneurs, the colours are great. The kits have everything that’s needed to make a garment, cotton etc. The boxes which are lovely have pencils, sometimes note books and other little gifts which are great surprise.

So brilliant!

So brilliant! I love getting a surprise every month with beautiful fabric and everything you need to make a garment as well as a bit of knowledge about the fabric and the background. This is a brilliant and unique subscription.
