Hopeless !!!

Initially paid out but this has now stopped - 2 payments outstanding with the usual copied and pasted response from 'Erica' about delays - don't waste your time

Don't pay out

Its was fine for a while but I have requested 3 payouts in 4 months and I am yet to recieve even one of them. Disgusting.

Weare8

I have 3 payments totaling £35 from August-October 2025. Another £15 banked in the app that will never make its way to me either. As the other reviewers say, emails are ignored, or if you do get a response, it’s a generic ‘we’re working on it, nobody wants you to get your money more than we do’ with no commitment or follow up action.

What was quite incredible was that I was asked to remain positive as ‘ negativity makes it even more difficult for us to resolve this, bring on new advertisers and raise capital’

I had not been rude, demanding, or impatient in the emails I sent. I’m amazed that simply querying how much longer I might expect to wait is perceived as negativity and essentially making the situation worse for everybody. As other reviewers have already said, I worry that the charity partners have been let down too.

Looking at all the identical experiences publicly posted on Trustpilot, I doubt weare8 are going to manage to find any new partners or financial backing.

Pending Payments 6 Months+

I am waiting on 17 payouts dating back to 29th August 2025.
They are aware of my issue but state they are "currently unable to complete this".
Whether they are actually trying to do anything regarding all the payments owed remains to be seen.

I have 3 pending payouts, earliest a few months ago, no response to customer service questions, I requested the final credit this morning but doubt it will come

Used to be a good site but now avoid

Used to be a good site but they appear to be in financial troubles. I am waiting for 12 payments going back to October 2025. Emails are ignored and there are now no ads to watch so appears it is on the way out.

Was a good app. Haven't paid me since August and don't reply to e-mails.
I assume they'll never pay me or the charities the money was meant to go to.

Avoid WeAre8

Long delays paying out. No response to messages sent on-line. Had to write to HQ twice about concerns. No replies. Appalling for an App that brands itself as socially responsible.

Scam company

Scam of a company. After a year of watching ads, I've been waiting since early December for my payout. After querying the delays, I got a vague response that didn't answer my question and just asked for my continued patience. Don't waste your time with this company.

I have been waiting over 3 months now for a payout, a measly 5 quid odd, I've messaged a while a go and nothing.

I have just deleted this app,used to be…

I have just deleted this app,used to be good but useless now.Ive been waiting from July for fund to be deposited into paypal.The funds following( these withdrawals pending) I've had on the app for the surveys have now cleared and Ive donated them to charity (hopefully they receive the cash).Absolutely waste of time now .

Payment Issues 🧐

As many are reporting, payments have now stopped. I’ve had one payment pending since Oct 25, the other since Nov 25. CS saying the money is coming and it’s a PayPal issue…

Omg i can not believe this .

Omg i can not believe this .
We are 8 o me loads .
I watched the advertisements answered the questions and now they won't pay out.
Been pending now for months but the app still works and the adds keep coming.
No reply from messenger or emails.
Im very disappointed.
All the hard work I put in.
Hope the charity's have got there end of the money.
Very poor .....

Initially concept and execution worked…

Initially concept and execution worked well. Content has remained positive but the payments out have dried up.

Personally, two payments have not been received from last year and customer services have not responded.

Suspect that the finance model has failed, but as such the owners should save face by communicating as such and be public with their plans. (Rumours of searching for cash injections being searched for, but nothing concrete to date.)

Sadly one you loose your community you are living on borrowed time. Would love to see this turn around, but that has to start to open communication to the community.

So disappointed, this site used to be brilliant but over a period of some months I’ve had to send three emails to their customer service due to non payment. Twice they wrote saying it was basically a blip and this time no reply to two emails. What really upsets me is that by viewing the videos we are supposed to be raising money for charity.. what’s happening?
