Returned items within 14 days in line with UK consumer law. The company refused to refund to the original payment method and insisted sale items were “store credit only.”
Internal policy does not override statutory rights. A refund during the 14-day cancellation period is a legal entitlement, not “goodwill” as Bound suggested.
After delays and continued refusal to confirm the full refund amount, I had no option but to open a chargeback with Amex.
Being a small independent business does not excuse non-compliance with UK consumer law.
Very disappointing. Buyers beware.
My first time ordering with bound was brilliant. The clothes were packaged and delivered to me quickly after ordering and the quality of the products is fantastic. I returned one item to exchange for a smaller size and, although I did have to chase for an update on when the exchanged item would be delivered, Jack from customer service responded quickly and confirmed that the order would be packaged and re-sent. That email was received yesterday and the exchanged item is due to be delivered today, which is an excellent turnaround time!

had a minor issue with the Williamsburg jeans which i otherwised loved. Despite a busy christmas period, Jack and Bound managed to get me a free return and exchanged my jeans. Jack was helpful and informative all through the process, and I would buy from Bound again.

Utterly incompetent customer service.
Ordered jumper 2 weeks later received mail saying it isn’t in stock anymore. I select an alternative and hear nothing for weeks despite chasing. A week from Christmas I said I need it now or I will return it. Lo and behold it arrived after Christmas so I requested a return paid which they agree to due to the 20 unanswered emails from me.
4 weeks later still awaiting my refund or more than one line email correspondence.
I have seen they have used the exxcuse that there is only one person in customer service. I’ve seen complaints from well over a year ago with similar problems. Seems they either need to actually train staff or recruit to help the clearly failing single staff member.
Great clothes. Absolute worst service which is a shame as I won’t be buying and advising others not to either.
Really great small independent company. Prices are reasonably and quality is amazing, everything feels built to last. Items come in eco-friendly compostable packaging too which is a nice bonus.

I ordered a package on November 30. The package never arrived and after a month I followed up with Bound about what was happening, they responded a couple weeks later saying my package had been declared lost and I could choose a replacement item as what i originally ordered wasn’t available anymore. I responded right away requesting an item that was a price jump, but i thought would be fine as I had lost my package. About a week later I finally heard from them, saying it was too expensive to replace my cheaper item, so I checked their website and found the item i had originally ordered much to my frustration as they said it wasn’t available anymore. I emailed back asking for that shirt and haven’t heard anything, just sending a follow up email today after 2 weeks of nothing. While their customer service has been decent when they respond, the long wait is very frustrating and I don’t feel like a priority at all. Sad because I was excited to support a small brand, but i won’t be shopping with Bound again. Hopefully this situation can be resolved soon.
Product didn’t look like the pictures. Return policy is the worst i’ve ever seen.
Amazing quality clothing! Great fitting and really nice styles. The team are great too, the helped me out getting an order out quick before Christmas with a gift and saved the day! Will definitely order from them again.

Processed a return online as I ordered a size too small, the QR code for postage hadn’t come through via email. Once getting in touch, Jack instantly assisted and I had the new code ready for shipping. Keep up the great work!
