Check very carefully and contact your council before ordering these. the real let down is that our Council in London does not accept them and will not collect the waste if they find them in the green bin. I later found it is a practice shared by most councils in greater london area. So On top of wasting £20, we also now have to throw out more paper....
quality-wise, I was a bit skeptical at first, but the box is actually quite resistant - if you watch how you put things in. Tea bags for example need to dry a bit or go on top of drier waste.

Handiest kitchen tool since steam extractor fans. Similarly, it removes the things you don't want from the kitchen in clean and tidy fashion. It's simply a must have for those who enjoy a lot of cooking, juicing and blending in a clean and health conscious environment.

I have used Obeo waste boxes to banish the improvised temporary plastic containers which had for years been an unsightly, smelly and unpleasant addition to my otherwise fairly clean kitchen sink area. In the warmer months flies would be attracted by the pungent tropical micro-climate generated by the browning banana skins, tea bags and dinner scraps etc. In addition, the dreaded procedure of transferring the soggy contents to the bin frequently resulted in bin juice dripping onto my clothes/floor and then I'd either have to clean the container for reuse or throw it out and find something else to use. The obeo waste boxes are an elegant and easy to use solution that neatly remove all of the above issues. Try it!

This is such a handy product, and really well designed. No more soggy tea bags on the worktop in the kitchen, but most importantly our brown bin is much more sanitary with these compostable bags which allow the air to circulate unlike rotting waste in plastic.

After seeing Obeo's demo in Super-Valu a few months ago, I decided to try them out and i've been using them ever since. The boxes are very handy on my kitchen counter and they look really well (very tidy) Also,I have to say that there's no smell around the counter anymore from the usual vegetable and fruit peelings ect.
I was delighted when I saw them at this years Bloom festival in Phoenix Park, where I was was able to buy more packs with a really good discount. They were also giving a 25% discount if you you bought online which is something I will be thinking about. Recommend these for anyone who is sick to the teeth of washing out their brown bins!
