Very good service and designing

We signed a contract in September 2024. I was away on a meditation retreat in October–November, and in December I was asked to leave a review. At that time, we had just started, so my original review was based on very limited information.

We are a small-town couple in our 60s and 80s and have banked with the same institution for over 60 years. This is only the second time we have ever had an issue like this, and we have reported these transactions to our bank for investigation.

Because our accountant handles our bills, we did not see the charges until March 2026. At that point, we found multiple charges over time totaling thousands of dollars.

The charges appeared under different names, including:
“APPMI WEBHSKY APPMIZATION TX”
“APPMI WEBDESIGNAVALON APPMIZATION TX”

We only knowingly worked with Webshusky and were never informed of any connection to “Webdesign Avalon.”

The appearance of charges under a different merchant name on our credit card, without clear disclosure, was unexpected and contributed to our decision to escalate this matter.

We have filed reports with FTC (200166061), CFPB (260404-30910157), and IC3 (c01341-da67c64afe994531560b6ddf18), as well as law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions. These reports are currently under review.

We were also unable to verify the business address (39899 Balentine Dr, Newark, CA) or confirm licensing records in CA or TX based on available information.

We have requested DNS access several times. On April 17, 2026, we received a response saying it would be provided, but no timeline was given.

Lesson learned: always independently verify online information, invoices, and business details.

I am updating my earlier review to reflect our experience based on the information we later discovered.

Excellent service. They certainly ensured that I was happy with the design and facilitated everything for me with no stress.
