Took £500 in advance for work to be done in week. Was still asking for my money back after no work produced well over a week later. Different people answered the phone and general disarray. Horrible experience. Fortunately I'd paid with MasterCard and complained to them. I set out in detail my experience, noting names and times of my phone calls, and I was refunded from MasterCard quite quickly.

WebDesignLabs advised using Drupal after claiming after my invitation they'd viewed my Dreamweaver website. My website recorded no viewing by them on its StatCounter. Independently I discovered that my website was totally unsuitable for conversion to Drupal.

Appalling behaviour. I think it is an offshoot of an American company. Its organisation seems all over the place. I'm not sure whether they were running a scam, or just useless and not particularly mindful of other people's money.

How I wished I'd read the reviews before getting involved with this company. My experience is identical to many of the 1 star reviews. The 1 star is simply because you can't leave no stars on this platform.

This company offered a reasonable price to do a logo. I agreed for it to be done. As requested, I paid upfront.Throughout the process I noticed constant attempts to upsell and constant calls when all I wanted at this stage was a logo.They tried to persuade me to get a website done which was pointless as I was not ready. They would phone several times a day whilst I was working and in meetings and their sales approach was off putting.
They sent a proposal for a website costing £399. I did not sign or agree for it to go ahead. I just wanted my logo. Eventually, they finished the logo. However to release it they insisted I pay £399 for it to have copyright. I questioned this and tried to contact them. Suddenly, I could not get through. I became alarmed. I checked my credit card statement and realised that these con artists have been helping themselves to 2 lots of £399 from my credit card. To my horror paying by credit card initially they had my details and they had 4 attempts at extracting money not just 1 for the logo, which until this day they have never released. I have since found a reputable company to do this work.

I have reported them to trading standards, however, they do not appear to be based in the UK, I believe they advertise and pretend they are as a ploy but they seem to be based in India.

Thankfully my credit company were good and immediately put a hold on the transactions and cancelled the card. I did get my money back but clearly these people are dishonest fraudsters.

Do not use this company.

I have already added a review, but will add a update to this.Stay away. I agreed to them getting my websites back online with the transfer of domains, Web files, etc. I payed £400 to try and get my products I order already payed for. Websites went live for 2 weeks and they didn't deliver the domains to me. I had payed by credit card and raised the concern to them. I did get a refund but they wanted a wire transfer to let go of the websites and domains, when I refused they closed the sites down as they had access to everything. They are known as design dok and their is another website been set up exactly like Webdesignlabsuk. I received a email asking if had unfinished websites or a dispute with my webdesigners click a link which is the exact same layout website bit a different logo and in the USA. Stay clear guys. I still lost thousand and having to legally get my domains which should own but trusted them to pass the ownership to me. Buy your own domains and your own hosting account because if you don't you might lose everything.

Don't do it all the negative reviews below are the genuine ones, they tried to pressurise me into leaving a good review or they wouldnt add something something my webpage can you believe that! That's how they scrape a couple of good reviews. They are based in India but pretend to be based in the USA and UK, first red flag! They coerce you into spending way more than you would have ever intended to and at the end you get no product. Literally had a working webpage for 5 months and that was after 6 months of waiting for it to be delivered. Its treacherous. I am so angry and upset I've spent THOUSANDS on a venture that was supposed to cost £200 and I have nothing nothing show for it. These people are demonic, Its such a clever scam because you get something right, a prototype so you think....I can't be being scammed or I wouldn't have nothing to show for it. You are honey. But they are just slowly milking the cow. Avoid like the plague and save yourself a couple thousand.

They are con artist. They took my money with promise of devolping website and content in one month but failed in everything. They always try to push you to buy their products and will keep on calling you almost everyday. They did not deliver what they promised, took my money and then stopped taking my calls/ live chat. Their team members change their names all the times as per their convenience. I had to deal with juan Oliver, Alfred, Ryan. I felt it was couple of people changing their names to fool people. They are Indian based company who are scamming people as I could tell from their accents. One time they forgot to mute the call and they were abusing customers in Indian language. They are scammers and please avoid this company at any cost.

I initially had my business logo created by Web Designs Labs UK but through after sales I decided to take out the social media pack back in August 2020. The next day I tried to cancel because of my own fault but was told work had already begun and I would have my first lot of social media content within 1 week..... 3 weeks later, I contacted them as I'd not heard anything (my bad I should of contacted them earlier but i'm in the early stages of a new business and very busy) and was told they had created me 2 social media accounts and lots of marketing material. I checked the social media accounts and they had been created that same day and there was a 'stock' video on one of the accounts thats it, fair enough. I then asked for a partial refund due to not being happy, no response. As my original social media pack (3 month deal with 1 month remaing and nothing done) was coming to a disappointing end after having 2 social media accounts duplicated and no marketing material generated I eventually asked for my account manager's manager! He agree'd in October to give me 6 months worth of social media marketing starting from August 2020 (so I got an extra 3 months added to my 1 month remaining). I then didnt hear anything for the rest of October and most of November after several attempts of contacting. Eventually got intouch with the Manager and was told they are working on my marketing material (So August to mid-November, nothing has been done) and agreed to weekly updates from him directly (email confirmation). I got no weekly report but work commenced in the first week of December. The marketing material was really good and I was happy with it BUT still got no weekly report. BUNCH OF COWBOYS. At this point after asking for several refunds, updates and marketing material I gave up with trying to get them to do any work so I just email them everyother day to be annoying now. 29th of December 2020 I finally got my first report, they had done 8 posts in December and i'd lost Followers, Likes, Post Reach and Engagement was down, fair enough thats social media. But since this report I have had no contact or phone calls, no more social media posts.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Destroyed my brand by constantly moving deadlines and building a very poor website. They said it would be completed within 1 month. SIX MONTHS later still nowhere even near close. Total cowboys - sacked them in the end.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
I had a website made from them and all I had is problems and 90% of the things I asked to be on my web site were not set up. The hosting service is rubbish 100% of the time my website was offline.
They ignore your emails and calls

I paid £1000 for a website in October and was advised it would be completed in 4 weeks max, however by February the website is still not finished and I have no access. I have been scammed but thankfully received my money back via my bank.
They will make the smallest of changes take 2 days, also the jobs that were done were done poorly, such as spelling mistakes and grammatical incorrect text. I had to spoon feed them on everything, clearly the person making the site/changes was incompetent. They will also upsell to you making you think you need to pay £250 for One Signal - a SEO provider! Or £360 for Stripe! The worst blow was ringing up Nominet to find out the Domain name was never registered in my name, this meaning even from the very first day they never had any intention of handing over a website to me. It was all lies and 4 months of useless time wasting I will not get back. AVOID. It’s not based in the UK, the phone number rings out, plus the email portal they make you use no longer exists. I want to know how these people sleep at night, doing pointless work to scam people? Do they think because we want a website building we have disposable income so we are more acceptable to be scammed???? Please use a local website developer and do your research, I wish I did.

They have robbed our company of over £1500 there numbers changed and no correspondence
I have been in touch with the banks and also reported them.
We are having to go through small claims.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM - DO NOT USE!!!!!!! TAKEN HUNDREDS FROM ME & HAS VANISHED. COPIED IMAGES FROM GOOGLE ON TO THE WEB STORE - THIS COMPANY IS RAN BY SCAMMERS DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM.

After doing everything I could to check if they were legitimate, I was still caught in their scam. They took my first half of the payment in July/2020 and slowly started my project. I could see that the designer was not very talented and would send minimal updates almost every week. But, with ridiculous things happening like taking a week to delete a word and move a paragraph. A simple homepage took 4-5 months!! They also changed project managers every few weeks. The new ones didn't bother reading the previous messages and moved as slowly as the previous ones, even though they always apologised and promised things would be different. After 6 months, when I had sent them ALL THE CONTENT for the website, they had done only 40% of the English version of the website. They also forced me to pay the second half early, in November, claiming they needed the money to buy a platform they hadn't foreseen they'd need to build my specific kind of website. Dec/2020 was the last I got an update from them. Ever since, when they replied my emails, they said they would send an update "within the week" or "within 4 hours". Well, that never happened. I have every little bit of information and communication documented meticulously because I could sense they were not very professional. I have receipts and even a skype call audio recorded. I have warned them that I'd take legal action if they didn't give me an update and a deadline. Unfortunately, they left me with no other option. That will be my next step, along with making sure I let as many people as possible know they're scammers.

If I could rate them lower I would. Avoid. I am a truting, normal girl and things were going fine with these scam artists until they siddenly stopped responding to emails and calls... since then I have managed to get a couple of people on the phone but they lie to me saying I will get a call back. DO NOT USE. Things will seem fine at first but they will screw you over. I am taking them to court. AGAIN do not believe what they tell you up front

I think this company must have folded !
After making payment for my logo i have heard nothing back for 2 weeks and no one is picking the phone up !
I paid on Amex and they are going to refund my money back and also try to contact them and find out what`s going. Stay away from this company !

All reviews of this site being a scam are very true. I purchased my site/hosting and domain with them back in March/April 2020. I disputed the charge as I paid via my AMEX card and have received a full refund. If you paid by credit card I strongly advice you do this.

I have had a similar experience to a previous reviewer, spent over £2k and now my site is down and no response from WebDesignLabs for weeks. I am having to rebuild. AVOID this company. I wish I had.

If I could give less than one star I would. Complete scam, looks like they have disappeared no contact since their last claim we had an explosion in the server room. DO NOT USE

Do not waste your money with this company they are scammers!!!

PLEASE AVOID THIS SCAM ARTISTS. THEY WILL BE NICE AND WELCOMING AND ONCE THEY GET UR FULL MONEY THEY WILL THAN SHUT UR WEBSITE DOWN AND IGNORE ALL UR EMAILS AND CALLS. THEY OWE ME £2,298.00 AND THEY MADE A BS STORY THAT THERE WAS AN EXOSION IN THE OFFICE AND ONE OF THERE COLLEAGUES GOT INJUERED SO ALL THE SERVERS ARE DOWN. I DONT BELIEVE THERE BS. PLEASE SAVE UR MONEY AND GO TO A PROFFESIONAL COMPANY LIKE 1 AND 1 IONOS ETC. THESE SCAMMERS DONT EVEN HAVE AN OFFICE AS THEY R ALL INDIANS WHO WHO R CALL CENTRE SCAMMERS. ONLY GO TO THESE GUYS IF U WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND DONT CARE. PLEADE AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS.
