The sale of my 2007 Ford went very smoothly—price was higher than CarMax. I watched while the car was checked out and the whole process from bringing the car to taking a check home was about an hour or hour and a half. The representative was very professional and friendly.

Respect and kindness about all else.
I had gotten a quote from CarMax and due to the rudeness from the employee I decided to go elsewhere. I hear about We Buy Any Car and gave a call. Craig spoke to me on the phone and set an appointment for the next day. When we arrived he was very polite and kind. The other gentleman working with him was very attentive towards my mother. Great experience at We Buy Any Car
I dealt with Paul on multiple occassions while I was deciding whether or not to sell my car; he was always honest and straightforward, providing answers to all my questions without any pressure to sell. When I finally decided to sell, it was on a day that Paul was not in the office. Justin helped me with the entire transaction and, again, there were no issues. I deposited their Truist bank check into my Chase account with the teller at the local Chase branch, and the funds were all available the following day.
And the price they paid me was over $1k
more than either Carvana or Carmax offered.

The valuation through the website is a joke. They low ball the heck out of you. They offer $6k below nada trade in value on my truck. what a Rip off. Carmax will do better.

Super fast & easy experience!
Looked at private sale and CarMax as options to sell our vehicle. Remember the WeBuyAnyCar jingle so did their questionnaire online. Thought we’d try WeBuyAnyCar first then line up CarMax and private sale as alternatives if this didn’t work. What a pleasant surprise! WeBuyAnyCar was super simple and fast. Tim explained the entire process to us and after test driving and doing a check on the vehicle’s VIN, he gave us a competitive offer. Webuyanycarusa's representative Ric A did a great job. He had such care for me as a customer and he truly acknowledged my vehicle for what it was. At the time of service, the highest offer I received for my vehicle had been from Carmax, but Ric was able to beat it. It's bittersweet, I will miss my Acura, it's a great car, but thanks to Ric and webuyanycarusa, I was able to let 'Carl' go for a price that we both felt fairly about. In summary, I was overall pleased with the experience I had with webuyanycarusa here in Colorado. Grateful 👍💪🙏

Our commercials state that buyers with a trade in pay an average of $990 more for their new vehicle compared to those who don’t trade in. Nowhere do we explicitly state we offer more than CarMax. The truth is we’re generally pretty close to CarMax’s offers. Sometimes they can beat us on price and for other vehicles we can beat them. It’s always best to shop around and we would encourage any customer to value their vehicle at a variety of places.
To be fair a $2,600 difference does sound suspect, and we would be happy to verify some information and give a human review to our online valuation tool. Our online valuation tool is great for getting an idea of what your vehicle is worth, but nothing beats a quick manual valuation by one of our friendly Branch Managers.

I’ve always used CarMax in the past but…
I’ve always used CarMax in the past but wanted to give WeBuyAnyCars.com a try and glad I did. Leon was thorough and explained the whole process, made the experience very personal and hands on as opposed to a at Max which is very impersonal and a factory like system going in and out. Leon helped me with a difficult situation and got me a fair price. I highly recommend these guys.

Great experience
Went to the Sarasota location. Rick was great. Friendly, communicative, clear, and thorough. This company offered me more for my car than its competitors (Carvana, Carmax, etc), and of course, significantly more than dealers were offering me in trade.

Mobile buyer was nice but that’s about it.
The mobile buyer was nice, but insulting as anything when the online offer was 3600 but he offered 1300 on site. I would have been better off selling to carmax or a private buyer, but I really just wanted the vehicle out of my driveway since I got a new one.
The only upside was that he came to my home, but after the company purchased the car- it is still in my driveway and I don’t know when it will be picked up. Our appointment was on Friday and I got a “hopefully by Wednesday”
I asked for a time estimate so I knew how to arrange my day to accommodate a mid day meeting and was told that an hour should be more than enough. Nope. It took a little over 2, so don’t count on their time estimates.
Giving 2 stars because the buyer (Abdon) was nice, but that’s it.

The online valuation is en estimate of value based on your disclosure about the vehicle’s condition and is not an offer. Like any buyer, we complete a physical and mechanical appraisal and run diagnostic checks before we make an offer.
I see that when you valued the Honda online, our valuation was based on your disclosures which stated the Honda had no physical or mechanical issues.
Unfortunately during our appraisal we did find a number of problems which should have been explained to you by our mobile buyer before you had the opportunity to accept or reject our offer.
The most impactful problem was upper engine noise which was detected by our machine-learning algorithm and confirmed with the human ear. Other issues included an inoperable radio head unit and inoperable power sliding door.
Despite the problems with the Honda, I’m pleased to see we were able to make you an offer you were happy to accept. With respect to the time taken to buy your Honda, we agree that two hours is too long, it should take about an hour to sell your car and we will be the first to admit we missed the mark.
When we buy a vehicle at the customer’s home, we have a third-party contractor pick up the car and this does take a few days. We cannot give a precise time for pickup as this is determined by the transport company’s schedule. We have escalated your feedback to our leadership team who will look for ways to improve our process.
