It's early days with engaging with Welldoing but so far so good, I'm optimistic about the benefits that can be gained as they seem to be true to their word and keen to offer a good service.

I used Welldoing to find a therapist. I was looking at starting CBT after suffering with anxiety for most of my life, starting at around the age of 10. I tried to use NHS services, but due to working full time I found it hard to get it to fit around my working hours. I looked on Welldoing to find a private therapist, and Karen Laken stood out out to me. I made contact to book an initial appointment, she responded promptly and was very kind. We did over the phone video sessions via Whatsapp due to COVID and this worked well for me. Karen has a very kind, soft nature and a very gentle soothing voice. This helped to keep me calm, as I was very nervous at the start of the first sessions. Karen is really a friendly person, and has your best interest's at heart. Tho I didn't have many sessions with her, she taught me new techniques to cope with my struggles, and I have since learnt different ways of thinking. She asks you at the end of every session 'what will you take away from this session today' (I always worry to do my ADHD noticing a piece of dust in the garden while I am in the front room), but, somehow, I always managed to take things away from our session. She is by far, the best therapist I have used.

Excellent service, good interface and the most efficient way to get matched with a suitable therapist. Have been recommending Welldoing to friends and colleagues - it's super easy to start a session over Zoom, so not being in a big city isn't a barrier to finding someone who can help.

I am a qualified counsellor and have been using welldoing.org. They offer very nice interface for both counsellors and clients. I found their customer service team is very responsive and helpful. Very happy with their overall service and would recommend to other counsellors and to clients.

As a therapist, the process of creating a directory listing with Welldoing is simpler and more guided than with other profiles I've done. However, they match this with what clients are looking for so it's also very thorough and effective.
All communications I've had with the Welldoing team have been friendly, responsive and helpful! I'm excited to be part of Welldoing.

Pleased to have a profile on your website. It would be useful perhaps to have a direct link on each profile to the person's own website in ordernot to have to repeat the description that is already there, plus contact details etc. I took an age over the photo, but that is my trouble!
I did see that one other person seemed ot have a particualr palce for the website link.
Thank you.

I turned to the Welldoing service nearly a year ago when looking for a psychotherapist. My problems felt quite urgent at the time and I was particularly encouraged that Louise responded so fast to my enquiry. The questionnaire seems very constructive to me, asking the right questions in a supportive way and without requiring too much effort or exposure. I was introduced to my current therapist within a week and have been very happy with the dynamic that has developed between us.
According to the site they will help you by advertising I don’t seem to know how this is done accept putting ones details in the account provided
Also you cannot commence filling in the profile etc until you pay a subscription Monthly.

So far, so good. I only joined a few weeks ago but already I've received advice about improving my profile and I've just has a couple of referrals. Hopefully at least one of them will translate into a new client! The member of staff I spoke to about my profile was extremely helpful. The proof, of course, will be in the number of new clients I get through the site. But I'm hopeful given this good, early experience.
