As an autistic persons horrible experience

As an autistic person I was called in for an interview the room was small and I felt like I was going to pass out also during the interview they kept repeating the same question even though I already gave them a clear answer as I wanted to come clean and not hide anything. for an Autistic person I get it they are doing their job but asking an autistic person the same question again and again is not tolerated they put too much pressure on me and thanks to that now my mental health is terrible I will not be going again after my terrible experience

Incompetent, Rude, Arrogant and obnoxious

I would love to rate them negatively but alas I can't. It is a huge comedy of errors from West Midlands Police. Police caught 1 out of 5 offenders despite clear CCTV with sound. The rest continued causing trouble through 2024. The boys in blue took my statement seven months late
Onto 2025 Even worse the same officers put onto 2 hate crimes. Again, No statement taken for first one. Second hate crime NO CRN EVER ISSUED. No investigation. The officers Including inspector were rude and arrogant. These officers then proceeded to do nothing. The disabled man in question fears being attacked by the youths that have never been caught in papers obtained police call the victim the offender. Inept, incompetent officers sit in a undercover station masquerading as a fire station.

Hopeless white male dominated police force

Racist, islamophobic, will arrest you for being a victim of crime. Difficult to make a complaint to the IOPC who are not independant and will support the police. Also police will damage your property and commit crime themselves against you and will most likely get away with it.

Great support and professionalism

After a crash in my car today I was really impressed with the officers from West Midlands Police. They arrived quickly, checked I was ok and ensured the scenario was made safe. The officer I liaised with was very professional, communicated decisions clearly and helped ensure the car and I were safely recovered from the scene. Thank you!

Corruption/VAWG

My DBS, courtesy of the brought and paid for, two tier gestepo, is on APPEAL via the IOPC as of 2025.

This is due to a weaponised legal system against former Constables'. This is a current media agenda/narrative (Sarah Everard case – RIP) which has targeted all with the same brush.

I have various character references available who actually KNOW me and acknowledge the real truth of the false allegations, because she is a woman and has played the system.

I had no independent witnesses or CCTV to help my case. My case was charged, via the Criminal Protection Service, before I even landed at the nick (abuse of process).

West Midlands Police is, unfortunately, a corrupt organisation, as referenced by the tel-a-viv football case and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Corruption was actually a cause for concern (Islam) back in 2005, when I served at Handsworth. This has now become apparent, due to the aforementioned. No moral compass as DEI said so.

In relation to my convictions, I have appealed to various MP's, one of which is reviewing my case at the time of writing.

West Midlands Police turn the potential VICTIMS into OFFENDERS and the potential OFFENDERS into VICTIMS. Misconduct in a PUBIC OFFICE.

I was wrongly arrested, when I had only attempted suicide in a non public space, never ever called 999 once...& more

I was wrongly arrested, when I had attempted suicide in a non public space, never called 999 once...

No one from West Midlands police contacted me for a while when I reported I was going via exploitation until...

No police EVER asked me if I was ok? When I was found after being reported missing multiple times..

My experience in 30 sentences below.

I was wrongfully arrested in October

In 2024 I called my mental health team 4 help, told them I was feeling suicidal, in need 4 support.

My mental health team called the ambulance, police on 999.

I was alone, with no people in my presence, in a secluded area.
I attempted suicide. A male police officer arrives, approached me in a secluded area.

I begged 4 his help. The ambulance turned up, walked 2 the same secluded area.

He arrests me 4 public nuisance!

I asked the officer why had I been arrested & he said it's because I call 999 too much and for my safety?

The ambulance said to the officer who had arrested me, she didn't call 999!

I was compliant.

The police officer left me in the ambulance van in handcuffs, didn't come back.

The police charge for public nuisance was dropped/discontinued, immediately within 2 hrs!

I complained 2 the police about this.

I provided 2 year phone records, 2 the complaints team showing evidently I had NEVER called 999 ambulance or police, multiple charities text messages printsreens showing they called 999 in concern for my welfare.

The ambulance staff made medical documents/accounts to what happened that day, documenting in their own words "I had attempted suicide and was immediately arrested for public nuisance and for my safety.

No communications from the police, to create resolutions about the false 999 allegation made towards me.

Asked police for inspector's email, that email didn't work.

IOPC gave me right to review.

Another instance I was let down. I went through exploitation in 2024 after ending up in a controlling relationship.

The charities were concerned for me, therefore they had contacted WMP.

I was vulnerable and a suicide risk at the time. It got significantly worse. At the time still no contact from police.

Police came round, welfare check, and I ended up telling this officer about my concerns. Officer had copRadio on & his radio updated his fellow officers. On cop radio I hear someone say "do you think this is legit" he confirms it is.

I showed the police officer the messages. Destroyed, upset 2 hear police talk about victims like this so openly.

I later contacted police, on web chat, since things were getting worse with the relationship. The web chat officer gives me an email address for a detective in exploitation/abusive relationships.

Had 2 make contact with the detective myself. Thankfully the Detective did a special referral for me 4 me as a emergency, when they saw the messages via email.

Safeguarding team said over the phone, that they were going 2 send me the support links, didn't happen.

Police said it's not my fault with what I went through, gave police info.

I felt the police's personalities were a bit cold. 2 Traumatised 2 ever call 999 because of WMP.

However I want to say thank you to those 2 police officers E & G for being there for me, the many hugs given, supporting me and my family, came round to 2 help me apply for college. To those officers who found me, rescued me from an awful situation, you are my hero's.
