Excellent. Booked on Sunday from Cambridge to Carmarthen, collected from Cambridge on my choice of day, Tuesday, delivered Wednesday. What more could you want for £33! 4 wheels delivered by DPD to my safe place while I was at work. Will only use these going forward.

Asked by email if they can ship to jersey, they directed me towards their website confirming they can ship to jersey. Placed the order online, payed for it then half a day later they cancelled saying that they actually can not ship to jersey. Beware! I wasn’t aware of these reviews..

No collection, no response to emails and 2 voice messages. Seems like they have gone bust but still taking your money. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.

I've used them twice now for different heavy car parts, both times their service and price were perfect. I highly recommend them and I will certainly be using them again. PS wheelcarrier; now you've grown you need to change your name to reflect you carry most car parts, not just wheels.

Excellent service, great communication, very efficient and competitively priced service. Would highly recommend.

Found the services offered by Gary to be timely and issue free. Used his booking services twice now as the recipient of a set of 4 wheels with tyres and the sender of a sports cat exhaust system. Both were picked up the next day and arrived at their destinations with no issues. Cheers

I wish you could leave zero stars! Money taken and phone switched off with no collection so my moneys gone! CON MEN AVOID AT ALL COST the company address is a Manchester post office it’s a scam STAY WELL CLEAR.

They just steal your money fob you off should be in prison . Mess people aroud am out of pocket for £65 because of the person . Don't deal with them at all stay well clear if you want your parcel

Very poor service. Paid for four wheels and tyres to be transported in two packages. Wheel Carrier sent one label for printing which I copied and placed on both packages. Wheel Carrier subcontracted transport to Yodel. Their system did not recognise two packages and only two wheels were delivered. I had to refund my buyer as missing package could not be located and three months later have not been offered any compensation or offer of refund of £38 fee charged. Email is the only method of contact. I suspect that this is a one man operation and all services are subcontracted to other carriers. For their part Yodel were also not squeaky clean. On collection their driver came but left within a minute as I was slow to answer the door. On delivery they left the two wheels in the garden of the buyer. On their tracking details which they provided later they showed that they left a card at my address (not true) and produced a signature (Anny) which my buyer had no knowledge off. I visited the local Yodel distribution centre and they maintained that the duplicate scan would have been spotted before leaving their depot and that their procedure was to email the account holder to request payment and a new label. This was not done. They were not able to give me a telephone number of the branch mentioned on the tracking detail to allow me to try to trace the parcel. Two wheels and tyres wrapped in bright blue polythene should be easy to spot in any distribution centre and I fail to understand how it could be "lost" I would suggest that you only consider using Wheel Carrier if you are prepared to write off the cost of your item.

I have to re-dress the balance a bit here with 4 stars.
I needed x4 alloys with tyres for a Range Rover shipped from Letchworth to SW France. The wheels were over the 35kilo limit so had to be quoted separately from the usual Webpage prices.
Wheelcarrier.co.uk were by far cheaper than anyone else so I looked up the reviews. Solid 1star as far as I looked; GULP.
Picking it apart, many were wanting the parts sent for customers cars awaiting repair. I was in no hurry and as it was pay via PayPal there was a route to get money back if it went pair shaped.
The other issue often raised was the bad carriers used in the quotes messing up the delivery. My quote was with TNT so no problem there.
I bit the bullet and in 4 days door to door they arrived with absolutely no drama in perfect condition.
Couldn't be more pleased.
There was just one glitch although minor, a bit unsettling; we didn't get the Bar coded address labels sent until the morning of the collection so my son had to rush home from work to print them out, and just had time to slap them on. Hence one star less, but overall I would use Wheelcarriers again.
The usual applies. Apart from as a one time customer I have no connection whatsoever with anyone at Wheelcarriers, the review is as I saw it. Regards.

They just use yodel or similar to collect and deliver but with the awkwardness off communication through an incompetent company so when a problem arises, which it will, as the real couriers have different rules on packing and collection times etc than on wheelcarriers website. It will take twice at long as expected to rectify, they don't even have a telephone number! You don't have tracking information and have to wait for them to rebook collection which only happens when you complain your parcel isn't with you. It's a nightmare. Took over 2 weeks for me so I cancelled and they refunded (luckily I paid through PayPal so they had no choice). Once refunded and cancelled I booked another courier but they didn't cancel their yodel service and they collected and delivered so I got my wheels through them but had paid another courier who attempted collecting to find wheels gone so rightfully will not refund me. I don't see how this was my fault as I'd paid another courier but now they bombard me with emails threatening debt collection and I've had to consult a solicitor. All this could have been avoided it I'd have even gone to yodel direct. And cheaper. I just wish I'd have checked their history before booking.

zero stars, bad unacceptable unreasonable,ignorant,wish id read the reviews first,appalling service,as said by other reviewers ,no contact number,reply to emails at first then all goes dead when there is a problem,which there probably will be.very frustrating, trying to get refund because of their incompetence, but ignoring emails, just a middleman for yodel, will try and get my money back from paypal

Avoid this 'company' they lie, ignore emails and simply pass on their jobs to other couriers. I was told a parcel would be collected one day. Two days later no collection, they wouldn't reply to my emails or respond to my PayPal dispute. Cowboys and a disgrace. They reply quickly to quotes to get the business and then you're ignored. They do not deserve anyone's business. Joke. They're not even at the address they claim to be. How they are PayPal verified is beyond me. Hopefully I will get PayPal to close their account.

Contacted the company to collect a car door from gateshead. They assured me the door could be picked up on Monday 11th July. The door was not picked up Monday and no explanation was given as to why. I contacted them on Tuesday and they told me it would be re-booked for collection on Wednesday 13th July, again the collection did not occur and no explanation was given. The door was finally picked up on Friday 15th and delivered to me on Monday 18th.

Very poor communication throughout with no explanation as to the delay in collection.

Paid for a service which they assured me would be carried out on a certain day and this did not happen. No apology or compensation for delay.

If you require a efficient reliable service i would look at other courier services

Absolute joke these guys are....Gary MacDonald and Rhondda! Ive used them a few times now (you'd think I'd learn!) and have an issue almost everytime, either failed collection or items lost/damaged. With the latest booking and failed collection I noticed the consignment note number states item already delivered in June when tracked! Been told consignment numbers are recycled and it will be reset once collected. I've sent hundreds of parcels over the years and never once come across this.

Their communication is horrendous! They don't have a contact number and will not provide one when asked. You can reply instantly to an email from them and they can take up to 24hrs to reply back.

Also if you book a collection they don't send the shipping label until the following day which is very inconvenient.

Their prices have also increased now so car doors etc are around £49 which is almost double to what it used to be.

They have another site called carpartcourier which is identical to wheelcarrier if you look.

I seriously believe these operate from their bedroom in their parents house....totally unprofessional to say the least!

I so wish I had read these reviews before engaging with such a shower of t**ts. They claim to be specialists in collecting and delivering wheels and tyres, they are nothing but a bunch of cowboys perhaps running their business from their mums front room!! Never encountered such a bunch of muppets in all my life. Gave them a simple task of collecting 4x wheels and tyres from Essex and delivering to lincolnshire. They used Yodel who are another pile of sheaming dogsh**e if you ask me so a pair of useless companies working together, bound to end well isn't it!! They collected the wheels sure enough, but then delivered them back to the smae perosn they collected from and have now lost them. Who looses 4x wheels and tyres!!!! Do not watse your money on such tosh, you're better off picking them up yourself, less money, less hassle and more life expectancy through less stress. Wheel carrier you lot are useless, should be ashemaed to call yourself a company. Don't use, avoid and shame !!!

Informed that the item had been picked up and delivered even though the item was at my house and none of this had happened. Then proceeded to send me a Proof of Delivery which had absolutely nothing to do with me and insisted I contacted the courier I had booked with to resolve, which didn't make one bit of sense as I booked the service with them, hence, why I paid for their service.

Absolute waste of time and don't use if you don't want hassle.

Avoid at all costs. After a four day late collection my package arrived with ripped wrapping and gauges that were do deep the metal was visible. Despite their website and email from the owner Mr Gary McDonald telling you they are at the Bacup address I Have just been informed they are not there anymore as they had to leave due to not paying their rent. If you make a complaint they ignore you and then come back to you saying you are too late to make a claim. They also sub contracted your delivery out which they do not inform you of at the time of booking to a company that does not have experience of dealing with car parts. The fact that they lie about where they are based says it all really.

We are a car breakers, so send allot of car parts. This is the only company I have problems getting hold of. We send an average of 30 parcels per day, No other company is a difficult to get hold of.
I have used before, had problems. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again, Still poor!
Sort it out!
