RAC Mobile Mechanics Reviews 

Very disappointed with the company. Paid for a diagnosis as my breaks were playing up, was advised of the problem but I chose not to use them to fix it as they were very expensive. Contacted a local garage and advised them what RAC had said and got the parts changed. However, the issue remains the same, breaks still playing up! Asked RAC to come back and check it, free of charge, they refused! I am now £300 down and still have the same problem!

The technician arrived right on time and wrapped up the job within half an hour. However, he might have been having a bad day—he had a dark expression the entire time, wasn't very friendly, and didn't really want to explain anything. The company may need to show a bit more care for him.

Very happy with the full service carried out by Maciek 8577 who was both professional and friendly. The price was good and I will definitely have an RAC mobile service again in the future.

I am not happy with RAC and I advise everyone to check their cars after the mechanic has been or not even bother at all as they didnt check mine properly for any faults or advisory, so when I took it for MOT it fail on horn and suspension and brakes needed to be changed as well. When I called the company to complain they sent the SAME mechanic again so I couldn't get a second opinion instead I got a "its not my fault it's the garages fault" issue. Ive emailed RAC for a refund and have waited for over a week not but no response so far so I'm leaving this for anyone who thinks about getting a service from here. My advice DONT

The breakdown was reported online and within approximately 10 mins a mechanic contacted me to inform me of his arrival within 30 mins. This happened and after a short diagnosis a new battery was required
The mechanic did not have the appropriate one but was able to arrange a replacement later on in the day. Within a couple of hours the new battery arrived, fitted and my car fixed. Both mechanics were very polite, and the service was efficiently completed. I found the process of reporting my breakdown easy to do and would happily recommend the RAC .

Not happy that there was no way to write what you wanted if you wanted to make a change you had to phone up. That’s a bit late on the day and I asked when I phoned up to make the appointment if I could change to a different make of brake disc and pads and all she said the mechanic will tell you on the day he said I could not change unless I made another appointment so that was Mike. I would lose money because that be a council appointment.

Rude staff came beside my car, did nothing and said he cannot help and drove away. My car is still not movable. He has just left the car on the road

Very professional and gave a full run down of what was done and pointed out service items to be expected in the next 12 months. Will use again.
