Whirli Subscription

We currently have a Whirli subscription and love it! It’s similar to a toy library but all online. The website it very easy to use and makes choosing toys an enjoyable experience. Our delivery has always been super quick and arrived with no problems. Sending the toys back is also very simple and doesn’t require any printing! My little one loves having new toys each month and I love that I’m saving money and making an eco friendly choice.

New toys

New toys, 3 times a week

We have so many toys in our play room and using Whirli has been a god send!

All the toys that we have had are great and the variety helps keep things fresh.

That it is great for us as busy parents to order what the kids need day before, in a quick manner, to get it delivered with the postman taking the old set of toys away - Why only now have I found out about Whirli?.

The idea is great but high delivery fees and difficult to cancel

The idea is great. But toy selection was limited and the delivery fees were expensive. And what made me give the company one star - you can’t cancel your subscription !

I joined whirli with a 6 monthly subscription, thought the idea was great that I didn’t have to keep buying new toys and getting rid of old toys. Every time whirli’s toys arrived clean and were in a good condition. But the toy selection was not great. Most of the toys you can select are not open-ended so children get bored of the toys easily. Each time when I swapped the toys, I had to pay about £7-8 to return the toys and to get the new toys delivered. You would end up not swapping toys as often as you may wish. I would rather use the subscription fee and the delivery fees to buy new or second hand toys for my children.

Towards the end of my subscription, I wanted to cancel it. But I was only allowed to cancel it 14 days before the new subscription renewed. And when it came to the day, I was told I had to return all the toys to be able to cancel my subscription. I returned the toys straightaway. Royalmail has confirmed my delivery has arrived at the company address. But my account wasn’t updated to say the toys were returned. I still couldnt cancel my subscription! When did they confirm they have received my toys ? After my subscription has been renewed! I am still trying to cancel it.

So if you want to cancel your subscription, you would have to return all the toys more than 14 days before the subscription end date. You basically lose half of the month of your subscription. It makes me feel the company did it on purpose to make subscription cancellation so hard.

Think before you commit to the company.

Want to save hundreds of pounds a year…

Want to save hundreds of pounds a year and be environmentally friendly whirli is your answer.

After buying numerous toys and binning them I came across whirli the blockbuster for toys use what you need and swap when your little one is done with it.

Whirli has so many options to make your life easier and it just not toys that you can swap out for there are jumpers play pens seats pretty much have you sorted for your little ones

Great Initiative for the Environment

I love the fact that my child is playing with pre-loved toys, thereby contributing to net zero in the long run. Also, Whirli have an amazing collection and range of toys for various age groups, so most of the time I don't have to look anywhere else. Toy swapping is a simple process, although I feel the postal charges are a bit on the higher side. We would love to see Whirli starting to accept owned toys, that are in usable condition, from their regular Customers, in exchange for credits.

DO NOT USE!

DO NOT USE!! Have had absolutely terrible experience. Toys are often broken or bad quality, or unavailable. I have tried to cancel my subscription for months and every time they refuse and continue taking money from my account. Update — finally resolved!

Excellent! Love it :)

Excellent, well thought idea!
Totally worth it to swap instead of buying new toys.
I not only save money but also do not have to worry about storing toys. Just simply swap them! So cool :)

I would highly recommend Whirli to others! :)

Love whirli and the concept so much

Love whirli and the concept so much! It's quite expensive still though, when you add the delivery fees. I feel like 12 rotations should be included in the price as it's part of it, not like I can avoid it in anyway. So feels cheeky the ways it's priced.

Fantastic experience - Well done Whirli!

I have been so impressed with the level of customer service at Whirli. They are swift to reply to questions and nothing is too much trouble. We can't wait to receive our first delivery and try out our brand new toys.

Whirli is brilliant

Whirli is brilliant. It is great for trying out toys before you buy them. This has happened quite a few times where my children have no interest in a toy I thought they might like. It's also great because if they get bored you just send it back and order more toys to keep them interested.

Not value for money

Good idea in principle but model does not represent value for money at all. Poor quality toys delivered (despite claiming that they’re cleaned etc) and very expensive option for providing toys for children. I ended up paying well over £100 for toys that would have cost less than £30/£40 new.

What can I say- 10/10

What can I say. The idea and toys they have are brilliant.
At first I had hesitations about how things went but it turns out this was the fault of Groupon and not the company. Who did everything in their power to get my children’s things on time and even independently communicated with Groupon on my behalf which I very much appreciated. I’ve yet to see if Groupon have remedied the issue but I would recommend just buying with them directly. Might be a smidgen dearer but certainly worth it. We upgraded to the Chest as it’s the best value for money.

No more clutter, no more same toys. And rotation allows for a huge diversity depending on the little one ages, moods and stages

Huge selection of toys from all…

Huge selection of toys from all categories, for all ages and for all seasons. Whirli even helpfully to have prams and travel items in the mix. Love that my little one can have variety without the clutter at home and by renting rather than buying which feels I herently more sustainable.
