Big thank you to Callum Barton, Donal Sarmiento and Nathan Minas who did and amazing job for our recent house move. They were extremely efficient, friendly and professional. Communication was excellent throughout. They made moving much less stressful!

We arrived at exactly the situation which was to be avoided and confirmed by Mr Samules that would not happen when we were considering the selection of the relocation company. In addition, the condition of numerous items delivered to Merton House is far from satisfactory in that damage has been caused due to careless and unprofessional handling, loading, and storage.

I am therefore, writing formally to express our serious dissatisfaction with the service provided by White & Company in connection with the relocation and transfer of our household goods and personal possessions from London to Guernsey.
Unfortunately, our experience has fallen substantially below the standard we expected when entrusting your company with the transportation and handling of our belongings. What should have been a professionally managed relocation has instead been characterised by damage to our possessions, significant delays, poor communication, and apparent mismanagement of the delivery process.

Of particular concern is the fact that expensive and valuable items entrusted to your care have been damaged. We consider this particularly serious given that the very purpose of engaging a professional removal and relocation company is to ensure that possessions are handled, transported, and delivered with an appropriate degree of care and competence.

The delay regarding the services of a Handyman and problems surrounding the split delivery have also caused considerable inconvenience and disruption. The way the move has been managed has left us having to deal with issues that should have been anticipated, properly communicated and resolved by White & Company. We want to make it clear that this review constitutes a formal complaint and that we reserve all our rights in relation to the losses, damage, costs, and inconvenience we have suffered.

We expect White & Company to ensure that the remainder of the delivery is completed properly and that every reasonable care is taken with our possessions. Once the delivery has been fully completed, we will undertake a detailed assessment of the condition of our goods and the overall handling of the relocation.

Excellent service from estimate to completion. All staff were helpful and polite and made a stressful time much easier.
Would also like to add that we obtained 3 estimates all from large companies and they were the most professional and the cheapest by a long way.

I have just had a second flit down to London with White &company ( Foress Branch) Excellent service from David in the Foress Branch office and the boys Craig and his colleague were amazing . Craig is a powerhouse. They managed to bring down my baby grande piano and set it up perfectly. It was a sweltering hot day but nothing was too much trouble . It was incredible how hard they worked and were so attentive with everything . I had an issue with pricing but David the manager of head office in Forres sorted it out and was super fair and efficient. I had one encounter with the London branch but they were not personable at all - lacking the northern social skills and had I spoken to them at the beginning I probably wouldn’t have used this company. So 100/10 experience with the Foress branch and I am so grateful for all their hard work and care.

Superb service. We have always used whites and this was probably best move yet.

Pack-up, they took everything. No fuss.
Delivery and unpack - was super fast and they assembled some of the trickier bits of furniture.

They were on time and got everything moved within 3 hours and nothing broken, fantastic service from start to finish.

The Plymouth team of Nick, Mark and Dave were cheerful, professional and hard working.
Only a local move but they had to negotiate builders rubble and scaffolding to deliver our furniture.

On one of the hottest days of the year, the London team from Waltham Cross depot were brilliant. The team was lead by Henry with Phillipe, Derek and Leon. They loaded our furniture and belongings into the storage crates without issue and so smoothly while we move into temp accommodation. They were all very polite and respectful and made special efforts to ensure they left the house tidy clearing up behind them.
Looking forward to the same level of service for the move into our permanent home and receive everything back out of storage. We are moving to a restricted access location and White & company identified the best logistics solution making use of their national coverage with storage facilities across the country.

I do hope you’ll take the time to look into what happened. Some of my bespoke items have been damaged beyond recovery and that is not something that can simply be undone. I genuinely hope this is looked into properly so that no one else finds themselves in the same position.

The packing of the boxes only compounded this impression of amateurism. Contents appeared to have been thrown together at random, with no logic or protective wrapping, so that opening each box felt less like unpacking and more like a lottery. The final outcome bears this out, with numerous items broken and others simply gone missing.

For a service at this price point, one is entitled to expect more than the mere transport of belongings from point A to point B, with no regard for the condition in which they arrive. And yet that is precisely the impression left by this experience — that of having entrusted our furniture to chance rather than to professionals mindful of the care it deserved. I cannot recommend either company to anyone hoping to move possessions they hold dear, and I would strongly urge anyone considering their services to take out comprehensive insurance, given how much appears to be left to fortune.
