All Akela food is covered under our Taste Guarantee for 30 days from the date of purchase. Opened foods (limited to one per customer) or sealed foods (no limit) can be returned to us at your expense. Here are the terms:
1. You need to notify us by e-mail within 30 days of purchase that you wish to make a claim and include your order number (or a copy of your receipt if you ordered via a stockist)
2. You need to send the food back to us in its original packaging at your expense
3. We will check the food, weigh it and provide a refund for the residual weight minus a 10% fee for opened foods.

This food was recommended by our breeder and to be honest, after doing a load of research on the nutritional value of all dry foods to feed a returned dog who had been fed raw and turned her nose up at all dry food, I didn't even look at Akela's content. The (excellent) breeder approved and Maggie dog liked it. It was only when it stopped being available on Amazon, I decided to have a look at the ingredients - appears to be the best dry food on the market for nutritional value! I ordered directly from the company, and it arrived the next day! (Had to wait a week with Amazon). Brilliant dog food and both dogs love it.

Good quality food
MyLo a cookapoo he have akela since 18 months now he 7 years old. Akela gave a lot benefits to his skins and his healthy. Small down side his it’s soft poo but I just add extra fibre.

I wouldn’t feed my dog anything other than Akela
I wouldn’t feed my dog on anything else - super high quality, dog loves it and you can see the benefits through the fur, teeth and health. The customer service is also amazing - so helpful and easy to order. Seriously do not consider any other brand.

Great dog food! Great treats!
My last dog loved Akela kibble and I've recently got a puppy and she loves the puppy chicken 80:20 kibble! It's great that Akela do sample packs for your dog to try. They also do a vast range of dog treats too!
I love that you can actually speak to a real person on the phone if you need any advice. They're pleasant and very helpful!

A great UK dog food company- Top quality
A great UK company with extremely high quality dog foods. We were originally recommended Akela by another dog walker and since switching from big company owned brand to Akela have never looked back. Wouldn’t use anything else from now on.

Picky toy poodle loves Akela Suffolk Dog
My picky toy poodle won't eat most kibbles. But loves Akela Suffolk duck. The small kibbles are a good size for him. He has been on Akela since he was 5 months old; he is now 2 years old.
Service is superfast, despite our location in Ireland.

Professional and speedy - they genuinely care
I have only been using Akela for a relatively short period of time. I have found the delivery service to be excellent, I found their advice to be supportive and bespoke to my Dog.
Jean is genuinely helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely cares for her customers and of course the end customer who is my beloved lab.
