Avoid. Customer service manned by AI

Just made an order and needed to make a change. The customer service is all manned by AI. Makes it very inflexible and a real pain to use. I won’t be giving it any of my data if they cannot be bothered to have customer service manned by an actual person. I’d avoid if I were you.

The worst customer service ever

I wanted to try the device despite seeing many negative comments online, mainly because WHOOP advertises a 1-month free trial on their website. However, it turns out that this “free trial” seems very misleading, as the website automatically rejects the option when you try to proceed.

I contacted their chat support, and someone named Angelo, assuming that was even a real person, did not provide any clear explanation as to why this was happening. Overall, the experience felt dismissive and unhelpful, so I decided not to go ahead with the product.

Very disappointing first impression.

I'm at 2347 days in a row of wearing my Whoop. My overall health and fitness are significantly different since the day I started using Whoop. I was an early adopter and learned to remain diligent in understanding the data. I've created so many good habits and eliminated so many bad ones over this time based on real life information. I'm 53 years old and run a minimum of 1200 miles/year. My fitness and life overall are well balanced due to being able to see the areas I can improve on and where I'm operating in an optimal fashion. I don't have to give it much of my time and can quickly see how my day went or how my body and nervous system is prepped for the day. It's truly incredible.

Great Fitness Tracker

I had a great experience using this product. However I ended up canceling because I wanted to buy a watch so I didnt have to pay a subscription fee every year. Trying to save a little money. Ai customer.service was a little lacking in the personal touch, but a real customer service rep took over after I expressed deep frustration and they took care of everything.
I will continue to recommend this company and product.

Customer service was terrible

Not sure about the device itself, it was bought as a gift, but the buying process/customer service was terrible.

They've sent me an email to track the package, but the order page did not contain the actual tracking info. When asked by email, they provided false information, and never apologised for that.

And please remember, when bought as a gift (£305 order) they don't bother to pack as a gift... why indeed?

Not recommended.

To be fair it’s a 3

To be fair it’s a 3. The fee is fair for accurate data and goal orientated recommendations BUT the AI is terrible at remembering instructions about ongoing and reoccurring lifestyle changes. I have tried everything to help the AI understand regularly reoccurring times when exercise etc is not possible. Every time and on each of the 4day windows when I attend full time job training recommendations are made that are not compatible with real life situations. It is therefore also not possible to create a plan to balance out these times when life’s demands just don’t line up with whoop is demanding to stick with an overall goal. So what is the point of paying a lot of money if the recommendations are not possible to put into practice? Apart from making you feel guilty and creating impossible pressure to change life circumstances that need to be accepted…not really helpful at all. Two years in I did not gain a better understanding of what I should be doing to be healthier, more energetic and achieve the results I am aiming for. Life is not sth we can schedule to perfection and an IA that assumes we can is no help whatsoever, just a continuation of familiar ways of various industries making one feel bad about oneself. Glad to have cancelled. Whoop was better without AI. Simple analytics, proposals without judgemental comments and data that shows where you are at with recovery etc. Not to be recommended especially for people who feel pressured as is

Everything about the Whoop analytics

Everything about the Whoop analytics, strength training tracking, and running tracking is awesome. Customer service is unfortunately lacking. It consists only of AI and getting to a human customer service representative is like climbing Mt. Everest. Exhausting.

If you have’t evaluated Whoop lately, try it. You will be happy you did!

At age 74, I find my Whoop invaluable to design, track and carefully monitor my physical fitness. I was a very early adopter of Whoop. Yes, there were times that the company experienced growth issues. But, having experienced a commitment to improvement by the company I have seen such improvement in the Whoop device. Those improvements pale in comparison to recent AI and technology releases. Try Whoop if you are serious about your health. I recommend it to any fitness enthusiast!

My experience extremely negative.

My experience with Whop was extremely negative.

My account was suspended due to a single chargeback—even though the case had already been correctly resolved with the client, with the refund processed. Despite this, the platform simply ignored the facts and applied disproportionate protection.

The most absurd thing is the support: nonexistent and unprepared. When trying to resolve the situation, I have no real opportunity to present evidence or defend myself. The response was cold, generic, and basically stated that the decision was final—without transparency, explanation, or fair analysis.

We are talking about a legitimate operation, with a healthy history, a low rate of problems, and real clients. HINCKEL LTDA always follows all the rules and maintains a serious business. Even so, I was treated as if I were violating serious rules, which does not reflect reality.

The feeling is clear: Whop does not value good sellers and does not offer a reliable environment for those who want to build something serious. A single isolated problem is enough to lose everything, without the right to proper review.

If you rely on stability and even minimally professional support, think twice before using this platform.

Extremely disappointing. I do not recommend it.

I have been using Whoop for Five years

I have been using Whoop for five years now. I am
definitely reliant on the data I receive from it. I do wish the cost was a little
lower for the subscription. As a personal trainer, I often recommend Whoop. However my clients can be turned off by the subscription cost. Overall for me, I am addicted. Cost is not prohibitive. I think most people should
use Whoop. Thanks Whoop!

Their "free trial" month cost me $65

Their "free trial" month cost $65 in their shipping fees that you are forced to pay. The worst customer service I have encountered. When given the option to extend their free trial, the cost of the return shipping label increased by $35. Such a money grab and they completely lack transparency. I would not recommend to anyone just based on the ethics of the company. They also make it extremely tedious to have them delete your personal data which is certainly in an effort to make you give up so they can profit off you further.
