Absolutely loathe it and can't wait to move everything elsewhere. Been using it for 7 years. The whole thing is hopelessly out of date, and an incredible pain in the ass to do anything on.

This is a SaaS product from 2002, I think. It's hard to use, ugly and produces a terrible user experience. Yes, I know, I tried it out in advance of signing up, but until you actually try to use it to... See more

Wild Apricot has brought our membership…

Wild Apricot has brought our membership record keeping out of the dark ages! No more having to hunt for files, or who might have the files. One place with complete flexibility of automatic renewal notices, emails and i could go on. Love it!

Excellent customer service

I have used Wild Apricot for several years for our organization and have been especially pleased with the customer service they provide. They also have strong standards for data security. The only challenge I have found is that they don't provide any means of maintaining a historical snapshot of membership trends: for example, how many members did we have in 2016 at each of our membership levels? Even without that ability, I still find Wild Apricot to provide excellent value for the money.

I'd recomend Wild Apricot

Although I am simply the person who started my organization's association with Wild Apricot, and only personally use it to send emails to the membership, other members of my organization use all aspects of the membership software and the website. They have been pleased with the relative ease of use and promptness of your staff to help and/or answer any questions they have.

Wild Apricot is a brilliant system for…

Wild Apricot is a brilliant system for small associations to manage their members and online activities. It has a good online tutoring system and instruction manual and is very easy to learn while powerful in its functionality. I have managed our Wild Apricot system for the past 8 years and would find it hard to change over to another system. There is lots to keep me on side, not least the envisaged nightmare of migration to something else.

From its inception Wild Apricot has grown to become a more and more complex system. This is helpful on the one hand as more and increasingly sophisticated functions are developed and the system keeps pace with technological developments. On the other hand, sometimes the elegant and simple solutions that were available previously have been lost due to increasing complexity. The modern trend to fix things that work well and don't need fixing has not been entirely avoided.

The growth has also affected the team. Support responses were more obliging in the initial years and have deteriorated somewhat later on.
To give an example:
my system has been bugged by an error message for a very long time which happens at login and upsets a lot of our members. Unfortunately, aside from providing as much circumstantial information as possible I was unable to reproduce the error message at will. The team member at Wild Apricot who was responding to my support ticket was not prepared to put himself out to follow up on the information I provided further than to say that I had to show how the error could be recreated. This I don't call a helpful attitude.

I love Wild Apricot. I run my small business ($90k/year) using WA's software, and couldn't be happier. If only I could figure out how to sell our t-shirts in the store now, lol...

I truly enjoy working with Wild Apricot. It's relatively easy to set up and use and there knowledge base has detailed, step-by-step instructions for everything you want to accomplish. I love that new features are being added all the time! Even when I run into a problem or something goes wrong, the support staff has always been super friendly, helpful and very quick to respond.

An excellent way to manage the website…

An excellent way to manage the website and events of a small (<300) membership organization. We hold dinners and outings that involve sharing information with members and members paying to register. Wild Apricot lets us not only post information about each event but also track payments, attendee lists, members, and member information. It also lets us keep wait lists for sold-out events, and lets you schedule follow-up email remainders for events and membership renewals. Plus they're pretty prompt with help.

Great Experience

From the gitgo I have had no problems using this database nor with the content being messed up by gremlins. Very happy with my experience.
