The guide was magnificent and increase incredibly knowledgeable. He was a joy to be with.
It was a very eclectic mix of people, but we all got on well together and we all had an amazing experience
It was so good we’ve booked again for another trip with this company

I recently went to Algeria, the tour was very well organized and the staff were amazing. They very professional, helpful and ready to assist me whenever I needed. I was quite impressed with our itinerary, the places were beautiful and the people very friendly. To top it up our tour guide, Ghanou, was amazing. In all the trips that I have been it finished on the last day after breakfast, after it we would be on our own. But on this trip things were different. Our return flight was very late, so after breakfast our guide took us to the a famous cathedral and then to the Botanical Garden, where we also had lunch. To top it up he took us to the airport and only left after we had checked in. All this was not included in the itinerary, it was an extra service taken care by the local agency that works with Wild Frontier. I was really impressed. It was my first trip with them and it will not be the last.

I’ve been on a variety of small adventure vacations for over 20 years. This vacation—and Wild Frontiers—has been the best curated, personal, cared for of them all! No way was my trip as magical by mistake. Wild Frontiers has the experience to coordinate the magic!

Our trip to Japan was extremely well organised. There was a great mix of culture, history, countryside and meeting local people. Although we moved around a lot, we never felt rushed or tired - the pace was just right. Our guide, Sai, was absolutely fantastic. Could not recommend this trip more highly

I’ve just come back from a fantastic tour to Uzbekistan with Wild Frontiers. Very well organised, fantastic and friendly guide, lots of little additions which made it special. I’m just trying to decide where to go to next with them!!

We recently went to Uzbekistan on a "Treasures of the Silk Road" trip. There were 10 of us in the group. We had an excellent guide, the same person throughout which we thought better than chopping and changing. Hotels all had local character, were quite small and were in the towns we visited. Restaurants we went to all served local food so we had a great culinary experience. Well organised itinerary. The most spectacular architecture came last in Samarkand just when you thought you'd seen it all !

I recently returned from a trip to Uzbekistan with Wild Frontiers and I can honestly say it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had.
As someone in my 60's travelling alone, I was looking for a trip that was well organised, comfortable (but not 5* and so you could be anywhere!) and at the right pace. My 'Silk Road' journey delivered on all fronts. The small group size made a huge difference, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere without ever feeling rushed or crowded.
A special mention must go to our guide, Nilafur, who was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and had a wonderful sense of humour that kept the group engaged throughout. What really stood out was how much she genuinely cared and I'm sure that she went above and beyond to make sure that each of us had the best possible experince.
I have travelled with other tour operators before but this trip really set a new standard in terms of organisation, comfort and overall enjoyment.
I would highly recommend Uzbekistan as a destination but also Wild Frontiers as a company. I'll be certainly looking at their website again soon!

From the booking process to the holiday itself, Wild Frontiers were outstanding. The itinerary, hotels , tour guide and food were all excellent.

This 13-day tour of central Honshu lived up to Wild Frontiers' deserved reputation for crafting small group tours that mix popular "must-see" sights with slighly off-the-beaten-track destinations to give a deeper understanding of local culture. (This was our fifth trip with WF.) Our terrific tour leader, Mizuho Sai, was charming and expert in managing a busy itinerary and fielding our many questions. One of our best trips ever.

We have just returned from a family holiday to Chile - our trip was fabulous, everything was well planned and worked like clockwork. No mean feat as we travelled the whole length of the country. We had incredibly good guides everywhere we went and the hotels were excellent. We saw a great cross section of everything Chile has to offer and would highly recommend Wild Frontiers. Bolivia next!

I greatly enjoyed my trip Slow Boat to Aswan to Egypt, which was my first journey with Wild Frontiers. Our guide, Sherine, was exceptionally well organised, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and offered a wonderful variety of local people, experiences, and places to explore. We often felt incredibly fortunate to have so many sites almost entirely to ourselves.
Seeing so many iconic Egyptian sites was truly breathtaking and deeply memorable. One of the highlights was travelling down the Nile on the dahabiya, which was so peaceful, unhurried, and wonderfully relaxing. It provided the perfect opportunity to birdwatch, slow down, and fully enjoy being in the moment. I strongly recommend Wild Frontiers and cannot thank them enough for such a beautifully curated and enriching experience.

This long 3 week tour of Japan was meticulously prepared by both the company and the excellent local guide. We experienced a much more diverse Japan than I could have imagined or organised as an independent traveller. Hotel accommodation was excellent and locations chosen were superb and often off the beaten track. Absolutely first class.

I recently went on the Turkey: Eastern Borderlands group tour, and it was a great experience. The tour included plenty of great sights, such as the city of Ani, Şanlıurfa and Akhtamar Island, so the programme was well designed. And the execution was done very well, with all the logistics of driving, restaurants, hotels and visits done seamlessly and with the constant presence of a super friendly and supportive group leader.

I have just returned from Algeria on Wild Frontiers “Crossroads of the Maghreb” tour.
This trip really gave an insight into the country and its people. Mohammed, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of Algerian life and history.
The trip was varied from Algiers, a coastal town to experiencing the sand dunes of the Sahara.
This trip just left me wanting more!

This was a special trip for me as I'd wanted to visit southeast Asia for the past 20 years!! I finally gifted the trip to myself and it didn't disappoint.
It was pacey and we went off the beaten track as well as seeing the essential sites - Angkor Wat being the cherry on the cake.
We were well looked after, and stayed in beautiful places. The food was varied, ranging from high-end restaurants to simple homestay food which was delicious.
The tour leader (James) was fun and well-informed, tweaking the trip along the way as circumstances dictated.
I just need to save up for another Wild Frontiers experience.

Our trip to Colombia was our third Wild Frontiers trip in five months and, as with the others, it was a fabulous experience.
The trip was interesting, well paced, informative and entertaining.
Our guide (Alex) was fantastic. The guides used by WF all seem to be well chosen and we get so much from spending time with them and learning about the culture and history of the places we visit. He was very patient and no questions were off limits.
The hotels were all very good and the food (plentiful), was also good. The vehicles used were all good quality and this makes such a difference when we are on long drives.
We are very pleased to have found WF and would highly recommend them.

We have just returned from our South Indian Odyssey with Wild Frontiers, 19 days starting in Chennai and ending up on the western side of India in Kochi. This was a fantastic trip, really well thought out to give us contrasting experiences of temples, palaces, nature, culture and food. The guide was knowledgeable and funny, hotels were great, would thoroughly recommend.

From first contact, Wild Frontiers were excellent in communicating with me. The pre-departure information was very informative and provided all of the information one needed travelling to Nepal especially the visa application and what to pack. The accommodation exceeded my expectations and the transport and guides were top notch. The time in the National Park was fantastic and yes, we saw a tiger!! With an unexpected five day extension in Kathmandu and travel disruption due to the Iran conflict Wild Frontiers kept in touch with me on a daily basis although, having booked flights independently, they had no responsibility for my travel home. I would strongly recommend them as a group tour company and although this was first experience of group travel, will certainly be booking with them again and having them book my flights😂.

My husband and I joined the Wild Frontiers group for a 21 days South India Odyssey Tour. We were amazed by the culture, the architecture of the Tamil Nadu temples and the colourful friendly people. The House boat experience in Kerala was excellent with beautiful scenery along the way. The food was varied and enjoyable. There were many beautiful sites visited, too many to name. We had the services of a very capable and knowledgeable tour guide Dilesh. We had a safe driver Ranjeith with superb driving skills. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

I have travelled with Wild Frontiers several times previously and can honestly say I have always had great trips.
"Sri Lanka: Hidden Treasures of the Sacred Island" was no exception. This trip is really diverse, reflecting the country itself, including different scenic landscapes, key historical sites, wildlife (no, we didn't see leopards!) and cultural highlights.
As always, Dammika our guide was excellent, as was the food and accommodation. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
