I am a fan of buffalo meat--healthier than beef, so was happy to find this co. I ordered a sampler which included much from steaks to ground beef. I am gradually using all, but am saving the steaks for special nights. They are above restaurant quality! Now that I am a fan, I will order specific items, like the buffalo bacon and certainly more steaks. This a real find for me; a true red meat lover.
I was also happy with the shipping. All meat was frozen and there was a minimum of disposable packing material.
I plan to place orders every other month.

I love the quality of meat and feel good about the humane harvesting of the animal is the most important to us. We eat more veg than meat and have stopped all meat except for bison

We ordered a quarter and a steak sampler package. Everything was delivered on time and packaged well. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because on their online ad they promise a steak with first time purchase and never received that in either of my orders. Tried to call with no luck or response after leaving message.however meat is wonderful and everything it says it should be.

I love that I can get 100% grass fed meat that was handled ethically. My only issue is that shipping all the way to North Texas is *almost* too risky without paying for express delivery. Large cuts of meat were still mostly frozen, the smaller cuts almost totally thawed, and the bacon and sausages were 100% thawed, but still cold. I also discovered yesterday that my local grocery store carries Wild Idea, and the prices are significantly less. $21.65 vs $15.49 for a 10 ounce Ribeye. I know they are accounting for shipping, but that is a significant difference, so in the future I will buy it from the store. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and customer service was excellent.

I know the title of my review might seem dramatic at first but I had stomach cancer a ways back and I needed vitamin drips and supplements and it was very expensive. This meat is nutrient dense that if I have a couple livers a week and a steak or two... I'm not deficient any more. I get a spectracel test each year that tests all your vitamin levels. Wild Idea rocks!'! Thank you :))

The bison meat is excellent. We have been buying it for three years, and we have enjoyed every piece.
The staff provides excellent service. They were able to accurately answer all of our questions. Ordering on line works well.
Each of our orders has been filled in a timely manner. The packaging has protected each piece of the bison, and all our orders arrived on time and still firmly frozen.
We feel good about the company's environmental ethic and operations.

They have earned my respect and trust for their superior way of handling their buffalo, their helpfulness and promptness in fulfilling orders and their commitment to the health of the environment. This was our first order with Wild Idea Buffalo Company. We ordered several petite filet mignons. The steaks were outstanding. We have had buffalo many times in the past from other sources. None was better than this. The delivery service to our door was amazingly fast. My wife and I highly recommend this company.

Package always arrive when scheduled. The meats are fabulous. And the hand written thank you is a nice touch that says something about supporting a family business with heart.

Look great, got the ribs. We ah e a team dinner for my sons high school foitball team, I usually smoke some babyback ribs, but a lot of other families have started to do that, so decided to up the ante. Feeding 30 kids tonight. Smoking the bison ribs with mesquite, olive oil and pepper on the ribs

In deciding to return to an omnivore diet after three years, I was very pleased to find that bison meat is no longer a rarity. Wild Idea Buffalo Co attracted my attention because of its relationship with native peoples who revere the bison as their primary provider. I abhor 'factory farming', so choosing bison resolves that concern; that WIBC kills and dresses its bison in the field sealed the deal for me.

The products I selected arrived on time, in great shape, and with supporting literature to help me enjoy the meat to its fullest advantage. So far, I've begun eating the Bresaola which is perfectly packaged & presented and delicious! I look forward to enjoying the other selections I made.

I am completely satisfied with my purchase and will return to Wild Idea Buffalo Co when my supply runs low.

My husband and I found the filets very tasty.

We received the meat and it was defrosted. Could not consume in a week and gave to friends. We were disappointed in the delivery. We have ordered from Blackwing and vital choice and our items have always arrived completely frozen. Will not order again.

Ordering online was a breeze, shipment was fast and accurate. It was delivered on a steamy hot and humid day, the meat was still rock solid frozen. Outstanding! The meat? Wonderful and healthy.

100% grass fed is a great assurance that our family is eating lean and healthy meat. I'll never purchase a pack of hamburger from the store again. I can use bison for absolutely everything I used to use hamburger for. It's worth a little extra money because it is so lean you get more out of 1lb bison than you do even the leanest of hamburger you can find in the stores.

I ordered 6 copies of the book "Wild Idea"--to give to decision makers that have a visionary outlook. The package arrived in a timely fashion and in perfect condition. I would recommend this company to anyone--and I have.
