When I choose to eat red meat, it is Wild Idea Buffalo. Have been a customer for years. I usually order ala carte and find the website easy to maneuver. I know that I will receive my delivery when they say. Also, it is more convenient now that it is a flat fee for shipping.

On the few occasions when I have a question or there is a problem, the customer service has been efficient, professional and quick.

What's an unapologetic but thoughtful carnivore to do? I won't eat meat that's come from animals who have been abused, doped, and otherwise mistreated by conventional feedlot operations. Not only is it indefensible from a humane-treatment standpoint, it's terrible for the land and for human nutrition. I'm happy to have found Wild Idea Buffalo Co via a deal they made with Patagonia to supply buffalo jerky. Everything I've bought has been terrific, and I feel good about supporting this holistic and planet-respecting way to supply what healthy, primal meat-eaters need.

This is my first order and I am very pleased. Ordering was easy, prices are in line with what I would pay locally for bison that is grass fed but grain finished, shipping was fast, packaging was fantastic. And, most importantly, everything we've tried so far has been great! My husband is already looking forward to trying other products.

I also contacted a customer service rep. with a question and she was very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous - a rare find nowadays!

Meat arrived, in middle of Southern CA heat wave, frozen SOLID, perfectly intact and packed. Very impressed by that. Thawing stew beef right now for dinner tomorrow. Can't wait to taste it. I have had ground Buffalo from local Vons but want more cuts than just ground meat which is why I ordered a small sample pack. Stew. Meat, steak. Brisk it. Love that meat is lower in fat, free Range, no hormones.

Just as I placed my order I realized that on the day of shipment receiving I was going to be out of town. So moving the receiving date proved easy and accommodating. Thank you.

So far i have really liked the meats that i have eaten. Everything got to me in excellent and frozen shape. The price is high so I think this might be a once a year order.

Simply, the best! I have had about 10 orders from wild idea since finding them. this is the only meat I use when cooking at home. the meat is of the absolute highest quality. I order about every 3-4 months to keep my freezer stocked so I never buy supermarket meat. I consider myself a regular customer and will continue to order from them for many years.

My husband and I started to cut calories out of our diet. A local restaurant here serves Bison Burgers, with a nutrient pamphlet on the table showing difference in Bison and Beef. We ordered and honestly could not tell the difference in that or a hamburger our supermarket was selling it at the time, but was priced a little higher a pound every time I went. I searched the Internet and found great reviews from Wild Idea. This is second time I have ordered. Great service and great selection and taste is great. I've always just bout patties and ground beef, I ventured out and bought stew meat this time. Can't wait to try it.

Received my order and even though it came up from Phoenix in record heat the package had not thawed at all. Had two rib eyes that were out standing

I found ordering very easy and the instructions about delivery very simple which helps when you can know when food products are being delivered in a very hot summer. all arrived just fine.

Just had the top sirloin. We haven't had steak in years for health reasons. The bison steaks were unbelievable, better than steak and easy to prepare... Salt, pepper..on the grill. Amazing!

people have said grass fed is dry. this is not . this is savory, melt in your mouth without the greasy after taste. i will buy again and again.

After ordering from WIld Idea, I discovered that I could have gotten bison meat from similarly treated bison (100% free-range and field harvested) for significantly less from the Honest Bison.

Wild Idea delivered the product ordered promptly and in excellent condition. I have not served the product yet.

Love the shipping....Sooo fast and everything was still frozen. Had the strip steaks last night. Look small in the package but when you thaw them out wow. Could have split it. And came out perfect on the grill. No more beef here. Outstanding piece of meat. First had bison a few weeks ago while on vacation in MT. a few weeks ago and two more times before we came home. ( meatloaf,tenderloin,a burger) We say good-bye to beef. We'll save you for picnics.
