Fast support team! responded within 10-15 minutes and helped answer my questions simply and efficiently!

Very nice server works really nicely and whenever I ever had any issues they responding quickly and took care of the issue.

I use Winternode for Minecraft.

We've had one reset due to memory limits, but I'll take responsibility for that.

The admin panel is great. You can access everything via console or SFTP, but there's a clean GUI that allows you to configure sub-users with permissions, basic cron tasks, databases and a few other advanced pieces for those that don't want to touch a terminal.

Support response times are excellent via Discord. I had someone helping me in less than 5 minutes.

DIY hosting is always cheaper, but I've found that Winternode's features are well worth the cost.

There was a Valheim and Valheim Plus update released a few days again, and for some reason the server wasn't updating too it.

I reached out on the Discord for some help, but I didn't receive an answer. I waited a few days just in-case as I figured people are busy with life and such.

After that time I reached out via a Ticket, and Brandon was able too explain to me what I needed to do, for the server to update, and how I could backup my server files.

It's now updated correctly and running the correct world.

I guess they recently bought hosting where I had my Minecraft Server hosted on (VN), and from what I understood none of my files were transferred because my server was 'offline' at the time when they were doing transfers even tho it was fully paid. When I asked what happened to my files they said they are unable to recover them and that's pretty much it. To be fair they did refund me the money that I've put in the old hosting for that month, but the effort that was put into scripts by a friend and me is now completely gone.

Therefore my rating will stay at 2/5 for refunding me and quick support over tickets at least.

The servers I purchased are excellent. They performed much better than expected. Better yet, the support was insane. Everytime I had an issue they would instantly help me within the minute, that’s absolutely crazy. 11/10 support, 11/10 servers. Thanks winternode! Will be purchasing from them again.

I was migrated to winterNode from a company they bought and had a few minutes, yes minutes, of a bump transition. My server was offline and players were grumpy. The staff jumped up, helped out, fixed things quickly. If this is their norm I can't wait to see how this goes long term. Amazing Job guys.

This is the first server hostage page of others that offers a great service with it's server plans and client service.

This was the first hosting service that was clear with what they offered, no non sense advertising. Prices are great. Even when I had issues with the server, I opened a ticket and they responded quickly resolved my issue.

Unlike many other services that immediately recommend to upgrade your plan if you encounter a problem, the support team actually helped me try to fix it.

Perfect hosting! I recommend no doubt. I had some problems at first, I created a ticket and we got the problem fixed pretty soon! 10/10

WinterNode offers top notch server performance, customer support, and customization at an affordable price point. I purchased the 4GB server to play with a couple of friends and have experienced no lag. I opened two tickets with support to open a port for BlueMap and use Aikar's Flags, both of which were quickly and professionally answered within 30 minutes. Also, the Pterodactyl panel offers easy access to customizing server settings, and I'm able to easily run Fabric server software with Lithium (something that other providers upcharge for!). Best of all, the pricing for WinterNode is very fair, and you get a lot for what you pay. WinterNode also hosts a public server where you can test ping and allows a free 48 hour trial on their 4GB plan, which helped me to decide that WinterNode was the best for me. I would recommend WinterNode to anyone looking for a Minecraft server host.

I found Winternode while searching for an affordable Minecraft server host. I bought their 4GB Minecraft package, and ran a modded Forge server with anywhere from 5 to 15 players on at a time. During our 3 months using the server, we experienced little to no unexpected lag or other server issues. Even running large, potentially lag causing machines caused less problems than we expected.
The server management interface is easy to use and navigate, even for someone who'd never managed a server before. Winternode provides some guides to server setup, and a community support Discord channel for questions that the guide may not answer. With these resources and a few Google searches, I had no problems setting up my own server for the first time.
Their support team is super helpful, and answer support tickets quickly. When I contacted support requesting an additional port for my server, they got back to me and had set me up with one within minutes! They're also very active on Discord, answer questions and concerns there regularly, as well as announce updates about server maintenance and other downtime.

TLDR: Winternode's servers are affordable, run well, are easy to set up and manage (even for a first time server owner), and have an excellent support team behind them. Definitely worth a try, and I know I'll be coming back if I run another server in the future.

I had been looking for a server hoster for a while, and when I heard that Winternode was pretty good, I thought that I would try it. After a couple weeks of using their service, I can say that their support team is exceptionally fast and helpful, and goes above and beyond with answering questions and providing help when requested. I'd recommend at least giving it a try if you are looking for a reliable server hoster that is worth it for the price.

Winternode is a solid host with the best support I have ever had. Tickets take minutes to address, not hours and days. Highly tuned servers for minecraft. Just great all around.

WinterNode has affordable and spectacular server performance. I tried a few popular hosts in the past and most of them could barely handle a spigot server with a few plugins. A few months ago after a bit of digging I found out about them and decided to give it a try. I bought the 4GB package and loaded a huge modpack on it for some friends, and it has little to no lag whatsoever! However, the server would occasionally run out of ram and shut down, most certainly because of the 200+ mods. I contacted support and within the hour we set up some custom jvm flags (Aikar's) and they gave me 1.5GB ram overhead on top. Now the server is running better than ever! I rarely write reviews, but WinterNode really deserves this one!

tl;dr, WinterNode has great prices, even better performance, and their support team goes above and beyond. If you are looking for a server host, I recommend trying them!
