Worst Bank in the UAE
This is one of the worst banks you can keep your money in. Customer service is slow and non existent. And they basically stole the money in my account.
Do not send money with AANI
I have used the solution "send money with mobile phone", the receiver never receive the money but from my account the money disappeared. After several request to understand where my money has been sent, WIO replied that the money has been sent to another account and they cannot do anything to recover the money. Unbelievable.

I've been using a Business account with wio for more than 6 months, called the customer service several times and all been clarify and no problems whatsoever in transactions, receiving or sending money.
NEVER put your money to WIO Bank !
I have never seen a bank like this. €35,000 blocked, preventing me from paying my rent while I was waiting for my furniture to be delivered. I am now left on the street, unable to pay my rent, and my landlord won’t even give me access to my apartment because of Weobank. I’ve never been in such a situation.
I’ve been calling them for 3 days, three times a day. Every time, they tell me that it will be escalated, but nothing happens. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. I strongly discourage anyone from using Weobank.
I am transferring my funds to another bank. It is far too dangerous to deal with a company like this.
Worst Customer care support
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service experience I’ve had with Wio. I have used multiple banking products in the UAE and have interacted with various customer support teams, but none have been as frustrating as Wio’s. The support team first leaves you on hold for extended periods, only to then redirect you to the technical team, who are just as unhelpful. The technical team seems uninterested in resolving any issues, showing no intention to assist or address the conflict. It’s disheartening to see a digital bank that had so much potential be completely ruined by such poor support. Without proper customer support, sustainability in banking is simply not achievable, and Wio has made it clear that they do not prioritize this vital aspect.

Appalling customer service!
Quite possibly a close contender for the worst and most incompetent customer service! This is a digital bank so please tone down any customer relationship expectations and limit to essential online transactions only. They offered customers 6 months Talabat Pro subscription, charged for it and then backpedaled citingT&C’s. WhatsApp and call support is not empowered to deal with even small matters of Aed 29 and go about their scripts like robots.

We opened a company in AFZ and we were recommended Wio Bank but 2 months late after multiple tries, follow up calls, we are absolutely frustrated. A digital Bank ideally should be faster more agile but WIO is exactly opposite. We sent them (for the third time) Board resolution exactly as per the text they wanted to see and still they have issues after 5 days of reviewing.
Pathetic customer service, snail paced Bank that has processes that are slower than public sector Bank. Advice to others looking to open digital account- avoid WIO and don't waste your time with this Bank that has zero desire to help or to do business

Unfo, there is no minus rating and only one star which is too high for such a useless bank.

Been with Wio for 2 years
Been with Wio for 2 years - they just sent me an email saying they're closing my account end of month. With no reason. I called to ask further details, they refused to answer any questions - only saying 'internal policies' and refuse to escalate my query. They still owe me AED 210 for fining me for a late license update - which I did and it was a technical issue on their side. Never again!

They stole all the money from my account. I tried to contact customer support, but they responded in incomprehensible English, telling me that all incoming transactions from weeks ago are blocked, putting my account into the negative. I politely asked for an explanation, and they couldn't provide any. When I asked for a timeline to resolve the issue, they told me it would take about 48 hours to receive an email. THIS BANK IS A SCAM! Stay as far away as possible from these fraudsters. I hope the police will intervene and sanction this bank.

29K AED disappear from my bank. It as been more than a week now, and they didn't solve the problem.

Poor app and poor customer service
Poor app and even poorer customer service. Getting them to close my account is a pain. They did not close the account despite twelve reminders on emails and WhatsApp. The response on WhatsApp is extremely poor and either they do not reply or reply after 5-6 hours. As it is a digital bank hence there is no way to getting them to act. The app experience is extremely poor, and the app does not allow for proper face ID to be used. Overall, a regrettable experience and I would NEVER bank with this lousy bank.

Save yourself time, money and stress and bank elsewhere. They are absolutely and undoubtedly the worst service provider I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Useless to the extreme.
Rejecting remittance due to "system glitch"
My extremely important business transaction was cancelled because of, in their own words "system glitch". I initiated payment on 1st day but they never processed the transaction. On 2nd day I call & ask & they say it'll be done don't worry. At end of 2nd day they cancel the transaction & when i call & ask why they give a lame reasoning of "system glitch". Unimaginably unprofessional & how can I take this bank seriously if even a simple remittance can't be processed by them on time. Due to this delay in payment I had to bear additional monetary loss & loss of faith in front of the beneficary. Absolutely unbelievable.
Terrible service
Very long and burdensome account oppening process. It took me 2 weeks to open a business account while all the relevant documents had been uploaded upon submission of the application. Customer support would always answer that it was working on it even though no particular problem or request for additional information was raised.
The expected 2 business days opening process was far from being reached.
Once the account was open, I could not make any use of it pending receipt of a "welcome kit" which I was never notified of, nor delivered.
Upon reaching customer support, it appears that I had to make the necessary steps to request the sending of such "welcome kit" which, again, I was never informed of. Customer support indicated that it would take at least an additional 2 business days depending on the delivery company to receive said "welcome kit".
Needless to say that this is a very painful and frustrating process with no customer support to provide effective and quick solutions.

I’ve been trying to open a business account for the past two months, and every time I call, they repeat the same story, saying it’s under review and will be resolved within 48 hours. I’m not even officially a customer yet, and the service is already this terrible. They never reach out with updates, so I’ve ended up spending over 50 dirhams on follow-up calls every two days. Don’t be deceived by their advertising, avoid this bank at all costs due to their poor service.
