Why didn't i see these reviews... I've lost several thousand USD.... DO NOT use WIREX they are a total SCAM. First transaction 100%, then a "verification issue", account locked, no response to support tickets.
Seriously, don't even remotely consider these thieves....

Wirex closed my account with $25,000, without any warning. I now cannot get hold of anyone, as they have closed all tickets!

Absolute scammers!

Customer support is non-existent. I would not recommend this app. Now an indefinite hold has been placed on my funds. I tried this platform because the reviews and ratings were good. I have had a terrible experience and will be transferring all my funds out and never use this platform again.

I'm really disappointed with the outcome here. I wish I had known better before I joined. This is not one of those companies you could earn except Abhash platform where I get all the better life I needed.

Wirex is a scam, they block your account, claim your money, no contact with support, its al fake. NEVER GO TO WIREX

Opening an account is easy and the service works fine. But dear people who take Wirex for cashback, be warned. If you have more than $1.00 worth of WXT they force you to buy $300 WXT if you want to close your account later. This is a minimum to be able to withdraw WXT and they only close accounts if the balance is less then $1.00. Be careful with these hidden costs!

Edit for readers:
I got my balance to zero by buying the tokens. The total fee they charged me was 42.43 EUR just to get 1.50 EUR earned via cashback in Wirex Tokens out of the Wirex account so they would close it.

what type of customer care doesn't reply to to messages too bad you made me take extra steps involving the law with professionals at Z ltd to drag you to court before you released my money, just saying it doesn't have to be like this ....... you weren't always like this

After accepting passport and bank statement from Ghana .. they blocked my account immediately after payment into the Wirex account. Now no way to reach them or support . I creat ticket and submit is error ..
Send my money back

This is a total scam, avoid.

Fully verified at highest level. Still my funds are “frozen” for weeks now.

If I could not any stars I would.. use wirex at your own risk they don't care about there customers and don't deserve any. The worse customer services I have ever encountered.. I will not recommend them to anyone.

The worst app and fintech ever !!! Absolut Joke! - they froze users money under alleged "account verification" few months back and since then users have no further access to funds!! Avoid !!

Started using Wirex as it seemed like a good platform to start using and being rewarded with crypto. Took. Break for. But then started to use it again. Worst experience I have had in a long time…usually this behaviour you receive from an actual bank. Locked account for days/weeks and can’t get hold of anyone. Their email support is sporadic if any. They won’t assist in any way and you can’t speak to anyone. I personally have come to think they are a scam and just taking advantage of people now.

What happened with Wirex ?? Once AGAIN you have blocked my account and card ?! ( its only a couple of months since i got a new card but this has happened before!) Its MY money and i was counting on them. Suddenly in the grocerystore my card is blocked without any notice! This is now one month ago ! No replies! Telling me: ” no need to worrie , this is temporarely, no need to contact customerservice ” well its been over a month now. Wirex used to be good, not anymore. Just give me access to my funds so i can finish my accounts with you ! I have to agree with a lot of the other revieus, you are scammers, nothing else ! You keep sending me textmessages about different investments ,why would i do that ?? You can stop sending them !Shame on you !

I tried and tested Wirex with minimal funds to find out what they are like.
They are AWFUL!! I wanted to withdraw GBP but couldn't because of some problem with a 3rd party on their side.
Their suggestions were to change to EUR and withdraw. They gave me an IBAN and BIC number which when I checked was some bank in London. The other change to Crypto and withdraw which is what I did eventually to get my money out. However this cost me in fees they still charged. I have sent messages through wirex.com and receive the exact same email every time explaing the alternative methods of withdrawal and both will loose you more money. Plus the longer you're money is in their hands the more likely you'll will be charged storage fees. They send me messages encouraging me to put more money in and others warning of scams. The only scam is Wirex. I replied to emails but they ignore them completely. I am now trying to communicate with them via Facebook but that is still a waiting game.
There is now a group on Telegram building in numbers all with similar issues. DO NOT USE WIREX. YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE ONE STAR REVIEWS HERE, THEY TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT WIREX.

Worse customer service EVER!!!!
I am a female solo traveller stranded in another country with a blocked account and no money after my card (which I actually have in my physical possession) was used in a McDonalds store for a "tap and go" purchase.
they have frozen my account and despite me emailing and creating new support tickets every day this week not ONE of my emails or tickets has been replied too.
What sort of company leaves a singl efemale traveller stranded in another country and blocks her from using her own money?
I had some emergency cash put aside (as a back up in case of emergency, luckily, but that is now just about to run out as well)
I cant believe its been 5 days and still no reply from the lack of customer support team.
The lack of customer service, refusing to answer my question about how my card was used when in my physical possession and locking up MY money so I cannot access i.e basically stealing my funds is discusting business practice and they should be ashamed of themselves.
DO NOT USE WIREX.
They do not reply to your support tickets, even if urgent, leave you stranded in another country without access to your own money and wont unlock my account so effectively stealing my funds.
If anyone knows how to report them and has a way for me to get my money back please let me know.
I don't know how I'm going to get back home, or even eat or pay for my accommodation but all this company has done is cause me a huge amount of stress.
NEVER use this travel card!!!!

wirex informed me on the 21st of may they have unlocked my account.
when i try to sign in it just keeps sending me to support and when i try to get support it asks me to sign in.
you just go around in circles.

how can you trust an app that you never get to speak to a human being

This is how they stole from me.
After telling me 2023-03-03:
"We are pleased to inform you that your refund had been successfully processed. Do note that it may take some time for your account balance to show the updated amount."

After over a year still NO Funds.

Wirex asked me for a source on funds document which I provided. Since then and after months have passed the put my account in verification process (froze withdrawals) and hold my funds as hostage. They do not respond to tickets or any escalation emails at all. There have been cases that they close tickets as resolved without even responding to them for months. The company is a fraud

Wirex is not able to support its client putting them in the situation of danger scamming. Wirex locked my account and only after months and more than 30 mail exchange I got finally acces to It. In the mean time I got scammed from I fake wirex support agent who stolen my crypto coins.
Do not use wirex at all they do not really care about you as a client, slow feedback and non professional.

Wirex is a scam.
Blocked account without reason for months no answer to support request.
