Avoid this scam leader floors company

8Just the same horrible company as leader floors. Complete incompetence from top to bottom. Delivery drivers dont even know who they work for and then dont bother to fix their basic mistakes.

How can someone really be incompetent at delivering packages?

Their claim to be independent is a clear indication of their pathetic lies. They as well as leader floors and their pathetic courier company are all owned by the same people. All of them as incompetent as each other.

They are doing everything they can to remove this review showing just how bad of a company they are that they try to hide real reviews.

"We dont remove reviews" but iv had 3 different people try to remove this.

Your delivery driver said he "only" works for leader. When I called you about the issue, straight away without me mentioning any other company names you already knew the issue was regarding leader. If you use the same systems and have access to other companies delivery data then you are clearly the same

Wood Flooring Kent is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with or owned by Leader Floors. While both companies may use the same third-party delivery network, this is common across the industry and does not indicate any shared ownership or connection between the businesses.

Your previous order was placed with a different retailer. The order referenced here was a separate order placed with Wood Flooring Kent. When our delivery partner contacted you to confirm delivery, the delivery was declined after a response stating that the order had been cancelled. As a result, the driver was instructed not to complete the delivery.

Once this misunderstanding between two separate orders became clear, we arranged a redelivery of your Wood Flooring Kent order at no additional cost to ensure you still received your purchase.

We always aim to resolve any issues quickly and professionally and remain happy to assist further if required.

To clarify further; we do not remove reviews, but we do correct factual inaccuracies where necessary.

Delivered on time and looks a great product. My only negative was that I did not receive a confirmation of order only something from Link (?) I thought this was part of the process as it asked me to verify my email, which I did…only to find it was something trying to sign me up for their service. I neither wanted or asked for this. ( knowingly )

Outstanding merchant

I found the best price here, even compared to some of the biggest online merchants. Shipping was super fast, and when an issue came up, they resolved it the same day and even arranged a Saturday delivery. Excellent service and great customer support — highly recommend!

Ordered 21 packs of Krono boards had…

Ordered 21 packs of Krono boards had fitters come who were unable to lay the floor because the boards would not fit together properly and the more laid the worse the problem got. Contacted Wood Flooring Kent where they were purchased from and they immediately offered replacement of the entire 21 packs. The fitters came again unfortunately the replacements were no better than the first lot and the fitters advised that they were not fit for the purpose. I've been told that the discrepancies fall within their tolerance levels. Wood Flooring Kent are now demanding the return of 21 unopened packs. Obviously a number of packs were opened in an effort to fit the floor so that is not going to happen. I have now contacted Trading Standards and will be asking for a full refund.

Abysmal customer service

Everything will be fine unless you have a problem with the floor. If you do be prepared for a lot of arguments and frustration. Worst customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with. They can only be reviewed on their website via an invite link which speaks volumes. Avoid.

In this case, the flooring supplied was correct and as described, but we understand it didn’t meet your personal expectations once received. We offered support with returning the order in line with our standard returns policy, which is in place to keep things fair and transparent for everyone. As we had established that the floor you received was perfectly represented by the marketing imagery and description on our website, this meant that we would be unable to collect your unwanted flooring for free.

We do our best to help customers make confident choices before ordering, including offering free samples and detailed product information. We regret that this hasn’t been a positive experience for you, but we remain committed to delivering clear, friendly service and high-quality products for all of our customers.

With regards to reviews; as per the industry norm, all reviews are initiated via an automated invitation sent out to everyone who places an order with us to ensure that all of our reviews are genuine. We utilise one of the top review platforms "reviews.io" in order to do so and unfortunately if a customer has previously unsubscribed from this platforms emails, they are legally not allowed to send any further invitations.

Customer service needs some service!!!!

After reading good reviews we chose to order our flooring from this company and received email confirmation that the delivery would be made between 8-5pm today. We waited in all day and, at 4pm as we hadn’t heard anything I decided to telephone to enquire.
I was immediately put on hold for 10 minutes to then be informed that when the order was being put onto the lorry this morning they found it was damaged so it obviously couldn’t be sent out. I said I understood that things like this happen but didn’t anyone feel it appropriate to let the customer know to save me waiting in all day! At this point the telephone was put down! I immediately phoned back and got through to the same gentlemen who said he’d been having problems with his phone! I was then told that the company had no idea that the flooring had been damaged hence they hadn’t contacted me and all they could now do is rearrange delivery. I pointed out it was a good job I had phoned them then!
I was then told that the next delivery would be on Friday. I explained to the gentleman that this is now a problem as I have booked fitters who are supposed to be here on Friday!
The response was a half hearted apology with no sincerity!
I then informed the gentleman that I now have to cancel the fitter which would likely incur a cancellation fee and would have to wait in all day Friday in the hope that the delivery makes it and asked if there was any goodwill in relation to this. This is when I was blown away. I was told, by apparently the Customer Services Manager, that he understood and as goodwill he would ask the transport company to take extra special care to ensure our flooring didn’t get damaged!!!!! When you order something isn’t it an expectation that it doesn’t get damaged not a bonus!!!!!!
In desperation I asked to speak to a director or someone that could actually empathise and had some understanding of contracts so I was once again put on hold only to be told when the gentleman returned that person was “in a meeting”! Being totally shocked by the lack of interest or concern in our problem I felt the best option was to cancel my order however when I asked for an immediate refund as I would now need to source a floor from elsewhere I was told it’s a standard 3-5 day wait! I again pointed out that we have the ability to BACs money immediately now I was met with long silences followed by a repeated, uninterested response of I can issue a refund but it’ll take 3-5 working days as it states on our website contracts (obviously contracts are very onesided)
Anyway to cut a long rant short, I am currently £850 out of pocket, with no floor and a fitter contractor who wants £50 cancellation fee! Thankyou Wood Flooring Kent! Poor service and could I recommend some training for your customer service manager!

We’re very sorry to read your review and for the disappointment caused with your recent order. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to wait in all day expecting your delivery, only to be told later in the afternoon that the goods could not be delivered.

Unfortunately, the transport company only informed us when we chased them for your ETA that morning damage had been identified during loading, which meant the order was returned to the warehouse. We should have been made aware earlier so we could let you know straight away, and we apologise sincerely that this didn’t happen. Our Customer Service Manager worked to secure replacement stock and offered the earliest possible delivery date available, but we fully appreciate that this did not work with your plans.

As requested, your order was cancelled and a full refund was immediately processed back to your card. While refunds typically take 3–5 working days for banks to release, please be assured this was actioned straight away on our side. We’re sorry again for the inconvenience caused, and we will be reviewing this with our delivery partner and internal team to ensure situations like this are handled far better in the future.

I had an absolutely 5-star experience with Wood Flooring Kent and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality flooring and top-notch service.

From the very beginning, the staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful with all my questions. They really took the time to ensure I had all the information I needed, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

What stood out immediately was the generous sample size they provided—much larger than any other company I tried—and it even came with a detailed brochure. No other company I contacted had gone to that level of effort.

The floor was delivered in just a couple of days, which was a pleasant surprise after dealing with other companies that took over a week. Delivery was right on time with no hassle whatsoever, and the live tracker to follow the delivery driver’s progress was a great touch that gave me peace of mind.

Price-wise, the flooring was even slightly cheaper than what I found elsewhere, making the whole experience not just smoother but more affordable too.

Unfortunately, I had also ordered samples—and even the same floor—from other companies that turned out to be unprofessional, rude, and completely unreliable. Wood Flooring Kent was the total opposite: a breath of fresh air.

I’ll 100% be ordering from them again in the future and have already recommended them to friends and family. If you're after high-quality flooring and first-class service, don’t waste your time elsewhere—go with Wood Flooring Kent.

Great customer service

Ordered nearly £1000 of laminate flooring from this company, asking for a delayed delivery date to accommodate our refurbishment work. There was a slight hiccup with the booked delivery date, but this was quickly resolved. The items were sent on a pallet (note to other customers, takes a while to offload a big order), but unfortunately 2 of the packs had been damaged in transit (I have had this issue with laminate before). Unlike other companies I’ve dealt with, this time getting replacement packs was a pain-free and rapid process - for this alone I heartily recommend getting your flooring from these guys. And their prices are great also! Ask for Robert in sales, you won’t be disappointed.
